Rajamouli Takes ‘Mathu Vadalara’ Break From RRR
The virtuoso filmmaker SS Rajamouli is as busy as a bee these days with Young Tiger Jr-NTR and Mega power star Ram Charan film, RRR. In spite of his tight schedule, the director claimed that he will go off on December 25 from all shootings. Taking it to his Twitter, Rajamouli stated that he will take a leave on that day as music composer MM Keeravani’s younger son Sri Simha’s ‘Mathu Vadalara’ will release and he is looking forward to watching it.
MM Keeravani’s younger son is making a debut in the lead role and also elder son and singer Kaala Bhairava will compose the music. “Both my boys @kaalabhairava7 and @simhakoduri2302 debuting with the same movie. An emotional moment for me. Ritesh did a great job.. Ee Dec 25th Nenu Shooting Maanestha Maanestha” wrote Rajamouli.
‘Mathu Vadalara’ is a concept based thriller and the film is produced by Chiranjeevi aka Cherry. Vennela Kishore and Brahmaji will be seen in pivotal roles in this film directed by debutant Ritesh Rana. The trailer has already raised a lot of curiosity and interest among viewers, hinting a fresh concept.
Produced by Clap Entertainment and Mythri Movie Makers, the film is set for December 25 release. Not only Rajamouli, even public are waiting for this thriller hoping to end the year with a profound film.
#Chiru152: Largely Remains In Rumours Only
One wonders what is happening with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next as the shooting of the film hasn’t started as excited in the second half of December. The latest update is that the Koratala Siva directorial is suffering from some issues. Okay, what are those?
Till date, we have heard only rumours about #Chiru152 but nothing solid has come out. Whether it is Trisha as the leading lady or Govindacharyulu as the title of the film, they are all mere rumours without any clarification or confirmation. And then, the news of regular shoot from December also remained a rumour. This is because Chiranjeevi has different ideas regarding script, casting and the cost-cutting process they say.
While Koratala Siva is also ready with the script, he is said to be giving some final tweaks as per the suggestions of Megastar. In the meantime they went to Bangkok for music sittings, delaying the script things. But now, Chiru is said to be getting ready to shoot songs first, like in olden times.
In all likelihood, the shooting of Chiru’s 152 might start after Sankranthi holidays only they say. Until then, the film remains in rumours only.

Apparently the trailer has this India-Pakistan conflict with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor playing the roles of contestants in a London based dance event, as enemies hailing from the two neighbouring countries. And Nora Fatehi is on Varun’s team, thereby adding spice to the part. If we go by trailer, more than Varun, Shraddha, Prabhudeva or anyone’s dance, it is Nora’s hip-shaking that is getting all the attention.
Even Telugu folks are said to have got sunned by the dance moves of this popular item girl who has featured in songs of films like Temper, Kick 2 and Baahubali 2 as well. I’ve Stopped Coming to Hyderabad; Heroine Breaks Into Tears
It is very rare that heroines openly say that they haven’t got enough offers and request the people from industry to give them opportunities. Even if they are jobless, they say, scripts are coming but nothing is interesting. However, this heroine has done the unthinkable.
Heroine Shanvi Srivatsava who has acted in a couple of Telugu films including Lovely, Adda and Rowdy (2014) has openly requested Telugu media folks to support her such that she will get more offers in Tollywood. Saying that she broke down into tears.
“Maybe I’m too young, not acting well or don’t have the good looks, that I didn’t get any chances in Telugu industry after “Rowdy”, as I’ve sat jobless for almost year and a half. Every night I used to cry, thinking that I’m wrong somewhere. But finally, I got a chance to come to this city with Athade Srimannarayana” said Shanvi, during the trailer launch event of that film.
Hero Rakshit Shetty and others at the stage have encouraged her, and even media folks clapped for Shanvi at the spot. Then she thanked Sandalwood for giving her the opportunity to prove her potential as an actress.
‘Athade Srimannarayana’ is hitting cinemas on December 27th in four languages across India.
Varun Talks On CAA; Kangana calls B-town Actors As ‘Cowards’
The ongoing violence-filled mass protests in and around Jamia Millia Islamia University is making netizens show outrage. In the same manner, fans expected the Bollywood fraternity to voice their opinions. Since most of the big celebrities failed to react, netizens trended #ShameonBollwyood hashtag on social media platforms and trolled stars for beings elf-centred.
On this, Varun Dhawan responded saying that sitting in Mumbai and expecting something else must happen in other parts of the country is wrong. We can not comment about what’s happening over there until we don’t see it. The actor has certainly condemned the violence shown by cops on students and the disturbing visuals of the law and order. ‘Any kind of force used against peaceful protestors is wrong. We are 100 per cent agreeing with that,’ he said.
‘Right now, it’s such a sensitive matter that it’s easy to speak and say something or to slam someone. When you’re a public personality, people follow you, kids follow you. Once the situation has been studied, I will definitely give my viewpoint concerning something,’ he added. ‘I don’t want to instigate someone wrongly. I’m just trying to be responsible for what I say. I am not scared of anyone because I love my country’.
‘Speaking out today has become about social media. If you didn’t tweet, you’re wrong. But what will happen by tweeting? Is the entire country on Twitter? No. Personally, I feel I can have those conversations in my living room with my parents and friends. The best way for all of us to make a difference is by how you live your life, how you are when you work, who your friends are,’ Varun added.
On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut, while expressing her views on CAA and the ongoing protests, slammed Bollywood actors saying that ‘All the actors should be ashamed of themselves. I have no illusions about the fact that Bollywood is full of cowards. All they do is just look into the mirror 20 times a day and when they’re asked they say we have electricity and we have access to everything, we are privileged, why should we be bothered about the country. I have come out in the open to question them. Some of them are just hiding behind their comfort zone. The public is noticing how indifferent they are to the nation and its people and to what is going on in the nation. They are indifferent and that’s why I think that trend is absolutely justified’.
Several members from the film fraternity like Richa Chadha, Konkona SenSharma, Dia Mirza, Farhan Akhtar, Parineeti Chopra, Javed Akhtar, Vishal Bhardwaj and Anurag Kashyap took to Twitter to express support for students of Jamia Millia Islamia, following a police crackdown in the campus in Delhi. Later today, Hrithik Roshan, Prakash Raj, Swara Bhasker have expressed their concerns.
Dil Raju Backs 2020’s First Release
After the success of ‘KGF’, Popular Kannada Actor Rakshit Shetty is next in the line from the Sandalwood, to test his luck in Telugu cinema. A couple of weeks back, Rakshit’s ‘Athadhe Srimannarayana’ trailer was released and it got unanimous appreciation from the movie lovers across the nation. As they are preparing to release their Kannada version ‘Avane Srimannarayana’ in Kannada, Rakshit surprised the Telugu media today by announcing that the Telugu version will be releasing on January 1, 2020.
Sources close to the team revealed that Tollywood’s most successful producer & distributor Dil Raju gave them a much needed boost by distributing ‘Athade Srimannarayana’ in the Telugu states. Rakshit Shetty said that Dil Raju was impressed with the final output of the film and only then, he agreed to come on board.
So, ‘Athade Srimannarayana’ is going to be 2020’s first notable release at the Tollywood box-office and interestingly, Dil Raju is also distributing ‘Darbar’, ‘Ala Vaikuntapuramulo’, ‘Entha Manchivaadavura’ & ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ in the month of January.

Naga Chaitanya Needs A Solo Hit Badly
For the kind of collections ‘Venky Mama’ is getting till today, surely the film is likely to become a hit in terms of box office revenues. But then, this won’t come under a solo success for young hero Naga Chaitanya who is actually suffering from a unique ‘success factors’ since his first movie.
While films like Ye Maya Chesave and Majili are blockbusters, Samantha has stolen all the credit. And films like Manam, Venky Mama are those multi-starrer movies that other senior heroes took most of the credit. Except for Premama, Chay doesn’t have a solo hit that could speak volumes for him. For that reason, many say that he needs as a solo hit, sans Samantha and other big heroes, badly.

Comedian Ali’s mother Dies
Popular comedian, TV host and politician Ali’s mother breathed her last. Ali’s mother Zaitun Bibi died of age-related ailment on Wednesday night at around 8 pm. She died at Ali’s sister’s residence in Rajahmundry.
Ali was shooting for a film in Ranchi. Learning upon the incident, he is rushed to Hyderabad. His mother’s mortal remains is being shifted to Hyderabad. Her final rites will take place today evening in Hyderabad.
Zaitun had been pillar of support to Ali right from his childhood days. Ali was very close to his mother Zaitun. Ali has always recalled how his mother had raised him and how he was indebted to her. He had taken care of his mother so well.
As she couldn’t walk well due to her age, whenever she had came out with the support, Ali stood by her side and ensured she had smooth walk. In fact, Ali’s love for his mother and family had what impressed actor Pawan Kalyan and made him like Ali so well.
In fact, a video had also surfaced on internet which saw comedian Ali rubbing and kneading of muscles and joints of his mother’s legs. Ali was seen sitting on ground and he was giving relief to his mother by pressing her legs.This shows Ali’s bonding with mother Zaitun. The passing away of Zaitun Bibi is a big loss to Ali and family.
Jabardasth’ Gets Its Same-To-Same Competitor
After copying the core idea of ‘Comedy Circus’ and other similar comedy programs where the likes of Kapil Sharma used to be contestants, ETV has come up with “Jabardasth” program. And now that the original directors of this show moved to Zee TV, they have stunned everyone by coming up with similar program again.
‘Adhirindi’ is the new TV show that will be aired on Zee TV which is the exact and same-to-same version of Jabardasth, trying to hit on the previous show. While Nagababu is playing the same judge role, his daughter Niharika joined him as a judge for the opening episode, and we must say that the promo of this program on YouTube is catching attention.
Coming to contestants, Dhanraj and Venu, the original sensational players of Jabardasth along with Chamak Chandra and RP have now formed different teams on this new ‘Adhirindi’ show to take it forward. The promo is quite hilarious we must say with Dhanraj, Venu and Chandra stunning as usual.
We have to see if this new program could finally beat Jabardasth or not.
If Anything Goes Wrong, Balayya’s Market Comes Crashing
After the super success of Gautimiputra Satakarni, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s market has stood at almost 50 crores, as that film made huge money. But then, the actor is making sure that film by film, this market will be going down rather up. Now that Balayya is coming up with “Ruler”, here is what troubling his next producers.
Apparently Balayya’s 2019 Sankranthi treat hasn’t gone well as the film NTR Mahanayakudu came crashing. While the film did almost 30 crores pre-release business, it made only 4+ crores share, becoming a super disaster at the box office. And that impact is not there on ‘Ruler’ we must say, as this film also did close to 24 crores business.
The turning point, however, will be the result of Ruler. If this film directed by KS Ravikumar lives up to trade expectations and makes sure that no distributor loses their money, surely Balayya’s market will get little up. Otherwise, the market of Balayya comes crashing if the recovery rate is like NTR Mahanayakudu.
So definitely, this December 20th releasing movie is a make or break movie for the Nandamuri star.
Wake up Tollywood! Look at Akshay and Salman
There is a lesson that Tollywood should learn big time if they want to make it big in Bollywood with the dubbed versions of their movies. Recently Sye Raa failed to capture the attends of Bolly folks and now no biggie is actually trying to make it there. But here comes a lesson.
Other day Salman Khan has not only come to Hyderabad for a media meet, but the Telugu event of Dabaang 3 looked no less than a big hero’s audio launch event. And then, the trio of Salman, Venky and Ram Charan danced on the stage, enthralling the fans. Along with his heroines, Salman made a splash and even uttered a Telugu dialogue for the fans.
Earlier even Akshay Kumar did the same for Housefull 4, along with his heroines Kirit Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda, he has done a stunning media meet with dances and jokes here. When Bollywood is trying to capture Telugu market this way, why are we not capturing their market, in the same manner, is the question here.
The likes of Baahubali and KGF worked there purely due to content, but other commercial films will not work like that. So if we promote our films that way, then they will surely work out. Will Tollywood read these lessons from Akshay and Salman to do it?
Will Chiru’s Judgement Work Out Now?
Megastar Chiranjeevi is known for his judgement of scripts. Back then, whenever he picked certain stories they always worked and the ones rejected by him always failed. But then, these days he’s looking like he lost the touch.
Recently Chiru has okayed the script of director Rakesh Sashi for an upcoming film that will be featuring none other than Allu Sirish. This film is going for the shoot very soon and will have ensemble cast to support this struggling mega hero. But here comes the big question.
Back then, Chiru has similarly okayed Vijetha movie script of the same director for his son in law Kalyaan Dhev. That film failed big time at the box office, leaving Kalyaan in a shock and even Chiranjeevi might have got the same. In the wake of that result, one wonders if Chiru’s judgemental skills are intact.
If at all Allu Sirish could score a first good hit of his career with this movie, surely Chiru will get all the applause.
Nithiin, Rashmika Chilling In Rome
Nithiin and his lady love in Bheeshma- Rashmika Mandanna are right now chilling in Rome before starting the shoot of a foot-tapping number in some scenic locals under the supervision of choreographer Sekhar Master.
Sagar Mahati is said to have composed wonderful tunes for the musical romantic entertainer being helmed by Venky Kudumula. Already, talkie part has been completed and by the end of this month, entire production works will be wrapped up.
First single of the film an emotional number will be released on 27th of this month. Bheeshma’s teaser was well received among all sections and the makers have announced to release the film on 21st February.
AP’s Three capitals concept touches Telangana
Adilabad MP Soyam Babu has made interesting comments on this concept and demanded that the Telangana assembly sessions should be held in the district. “Hyderabad is about 300 kilometres away from Adilabad. In order to maintain balance in development and administration, the assembly sessions should be held in Adilabad,” said Soyam Babu.
The BJP MP further added that the assembly sessions should be held at least twice year in Adilabad. We have already took this proposal to the notice of Telangana CM KCR and very soon would be meeting Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan regarding this.
Though the BJP MP’s demand is a valid one, practically it may not be possible as Adilabad needs a proper assembly structure to hold sessions. Not just this, for MLAs, ministers and CM to reside during the sessions, it needs accommodation too. Telangana CM KCR had earlier proposed to construct a new Assembly but the plans got halt due to court cases.
Even if KCR considers the BJP MP’s proposal, demand from other places will also grow eventually leading to chaos. Yet the state government should develop a city alternative to the capital as everything is being squeezed into Hyderabad.
