The most-anticipated Thailavar Rajinikanth’s film Darbar is leaving viewers pretty curious and eager for the release. The makers of the film launched the long-awaited trailer of Darbar on Monday in Mumbai. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the launch event had the whole team gracing the moment and in the film, Superstar Rajinikanth will play a bad cop.

Rajinikanth’s fanbase cannot be explained in words. The whole India and in fact, even some parts of foreign countries have die-hard fans of Rajini and his movies are literally worshipped all over. People fondly call him Superstar and Thalaivar. The actor opened up on being called Superstar by recalling his 80s period where he saw him the first time being called a superstar.

“It was forty years ago. I think in the early 80s when I saw one of my films, in a theatre. When the credits rolled, it read ‘Superstar Rajinikanth’. I immediately called the producer and asked him how he can put it up like that, without even asking me. I was embarrassed. I never thought I would be called a superstar. I feel that way even now. I don’t know why they call me Superstar,” he said.

Rajinikanth, in his speech, spoke a few deets about his cop role. He said, “I usually don’t like playing a cop role for having too much responsibility attached to it. I like playing easy-going roles. But AR Murugadoss’s Darbar story is pretty unique and not something like a regular cop character. It is very different. His visualisation and imagination are far superior.”

In a vast film career, Rajinikanth said that he explored every genre. “I have done 160 films. I have been around for 40-45 years. Still, I would like to play a transgender person on screen,” Rajinikanth said. Well, that I for such we, fans, would be delighted to watch. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Darbar will release in January 2020.

With Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo teams indirectly trying to one-up on each other with their promotional material by releasing both at same time or announcing at similar moment, we just saw social media comments from fans of Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun till date.

But now, we got evidences on how the fan wars are crossing limits at ground level. In Vizag, at one theatre, Mahesh Fans erected a flexi, with quote, “Sankranthi ki Box Office Mogudu vasthunnadu (Mahesh will deliver biggest hit for Sankranthi)”.

Countering it, Bunny Fans erected another flexi that reads, “Mogudu kaadu Magadu ravali … Vasthunnadu (Real Man is coming for Sankranthi)”

Both the fans met at a common ground and started fighting that the other group has no right to erect flexi at the place they did. And this fight became viral, as someone shot it.

With such flexi images coming out, Mahesh and Bunny fans on social media started fighting again, this time, even worse than before.

We have proof of how far both groups are ready to go, to just win an argument stating who is better than whom. Well, box office doesn’t need Mogudu or Magadu, at this point of time, it needs both big films to become at break even hits as both are coming with high price tags.

Director giant Rajamouli is not one of the highest-paid directors in Tollywood, but he is the only highest paid director here. Because when other big directors are charging 10 crores per film, the Baahubali is said to have taken home almost 50 crores for that magnum opus. And he’s said to be taking home double than that for #RRR. Even if half of this talk is true, still Rajamouli is the highest-paid director ever.

Now the talk is about this second-highest paid in director, as most of the star directors took some flop routes in the recent times thereby producers started giving them fewer paychecks, or taking back some of their pay when a film flops. But then, director Koratala Siva is the one who has delivered only hits so far, though couple of films haven’t made huge profits due to some overspending.

Reports are coming that Koratala Siva is charging almost 15 crores for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film. That makes him the second highest paid director of Telugu Film Industry. One has to applaud his consistency in delivering happening movies which are not only commercial in nature but also deal with strong elements related to betterment and upliftment of society.

Meanwhile, the shooting of #Chiru152 will be starting very soon. Bankrolled by Ram Charan, the film has Mani Sharma scoring the music while Koratala is yet to announce the female leads.
