Mahesh Liked Mama-Alludu chemistry
Superstar Mahesh Babu who is constantly expressing his views on films, tweeted about ‘Venky Mama.’ Post watching, he added that this film is a thorough entertainer and enjoyed every bit of it.
Mahesh was also impressed with Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya’s camaraderie. “#Venkatesh garu and @chay_akkineni light up the screen with their Mama-Alludu chemistry,” wrote Mahesh further in his social media handle. Congratulating the whole team of ‘Venky Mama’ Mahesh stated that it is a perfect blend of emotions, comedy and family values.
Hero Naga Chaitanya thanked Mahesh for his comments and added that this message means a lot.
‘Venky Mama’ is the first multi-starrer featuring the Akkineni and Daggubati heroes. Though the film got mixed response from the critics, the box office collections are huge. The film is likely to have a good first week.
Get Ready For Kajal’s Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds
Thanks to the humongous success of Baahubali franchise, both south heroes and heroines are getting honoured by Madame Tussauds, the only wax museum of the world, where they are no keeping statues of our stars.
We have Prabhas statue at Bangkok branch of Tussauds, while Mahesh’s wax statue is kept at Singapore. And now, the honour goes to heroine Kajal Agarwal, who has reached the fag end of her career. Despite many lows in her film career right now, Kajal’s humongous presence on social media and how people are talking/searching for her on Twitter and Google made her a huge starlet. Sathyaraj Reminded My Thatayya – Sai Dharam Tej
After tasting a series of debacles, Sai Dharam Tej got a huge relief with Chitralahari. The film had ended his flop streak. Sai Dharam is now hoping that Maruti’s Prati Roju Pandaage too will work and take his career to next level. As the film is all set to hit the screens on Dec 20, Sai Dharam Tej gets talking about the film and more. Excerpts:
Prati Roju Pandaage
I’ve known director Maruti from quite long. I’ve always wanted to work with him. But only after Chitralahari, he had come up with the script of Prati Roju Pandaage and I’ve immensely liked it and readily agreed to do. The film is so close to my heart. This is a special film in my career. It is very entertaining and it has a good social message. However, it is not preachy though. After watching the film, everyone would feel missing their parents and children who are living far from their parents would visit the family and hug them. Maruti has come up with a brilliant film. The audience has something to take back home from the film.
About Sathyaraj’s Character
Sathyaraj gari character is very well-written. His acting is flawless. I could immediately relate to him as he reminded me of my maternal grandfather Konidela Venkat Rao garu. I had fond memories with my Thata. He was so affectionate and we were very much bonded. My Thata was aware that all my cousins would become actors. But he never know that I’d become an actor. He used to ask me that what I’ll do in life. But by the time I’ve decided to take up the acting, whole family was aware of my acting plans except my grandfather. He passed away without knowing my acting plans. That is the regret that I’ve for the rest of my life.
I really miss my grandfather so much. I saw my grandfather Venkat Rao garu in Sathyaraj garu. Even looks-wise also, they have striking resemblance. My Thata used to sport beard and Sathyaraj gari look in Prati Roju Pandaage would look like very similar to Thatayya. During the shoot, I really felt he was my grandfather. It was a golden chance for me to complete my wishes, dreams. Throughout the shoot, we bonded so much. Time just flew. The 60-odd days shoot was so quick and fast. I wish the shoot could be a little longer. Working with Rao Ramesh garu was yet another good experience. There’s a lot one could learn from him. It was a fun working with the whole cast. All characters have a great significance in the story and that’s what makes Prati Roju Pandaage a good film.
Rajahmundry Shoot
Shooting at Rajahmundry was fun. It was a nice experience at Godavari. Raashi Khanna’s Rajahmundry accent worked well. One would like her role in the film. Everything has worked in favour of the film. Producer Bunny Vas has ensured that everything went smooth. He is a producer with good taste. Backing of UV Creations and Geetha Arts is a big support to the film like Prati Roju Pandaage. Thaman did a terrific job. Be it the songs or the background music, Thaman’s work in the movie standout. Cinematography and editing deserve special mention.
Is your character in the movie has limited screen presence?
(Laughs). No, not at all. I have a full-fledged and quite prominent role in the movie. I have my part well. There is no second thought about it. Sathyaraj garu and Rao Ramesh garu and all others have equally important role. But I too have a substantial and throughout role. So many are asking this, so I’d like to clarify to one and all. Especially to fans, I’d like to convey that I have good screen presence in the movie and there are no doubts about it.
Report: Compromises in Biodiversity flyover’s construction
The Biodiversity park flyover accident where a speeding car fell off onto the road below and killed a bystander had shook the nation. This was the second fatal accident on the newly inaugurated Biodiversity Park flyover in Gachibowli. This had raised several concerns from various corners.
The man behind the wheel of Volkswagen GT, Kalvakuntla Krishna Milan, a young CEO, claimed that he wasn’t speeding at 104 kmph as alleged by the police and he claimed that his car was at regular speed of 40 to 50 kmph when the accident took place. Krishna Milan and his lawyer A Prabhakar Rao have blamed the design of the flyover for the accident.
The duo blamed the sharp ‘S type’ curve on the flyover for the reason Milan’s car hit the wall of the flyover and tumbled over onto the road below. The Telangana High Court had directed the Home secretary and police not to arrest Milan till the case is heard. The judge had asked the state government to respond to Milan’s petition.
Amidst this, the Experts Committee has made a startling revelation. The Experts Committee has opined that there were compromises in Biodiversity flyover’s construction. It opined that the total required land’s acquisition was not done properly and the construction was done in the acquired land which made it difficult for the vehicles. The Experts Committee reiterated that 40 kmph is the permissible speed on the flyover to avoid accidents.
The committee said though the bridge was constructed as per the Indian Road Congress (IRC) rules, it said the bridge is not safe for the speeding vehicles. It has ordered the concerned department to put the speed-breakers to ensure that the vehicles would not cross 40 kmph speed.
The state government appointed committee comprises World Bank Road Safety Department Adviser Prof Nagabushana Rao, expetrs Dr TS Reddy, Assistant Prof Srinivas Kumar, Pradeep Reddy. The committee has submitted its report on Monday to the GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar. The issue will now be reported to minister KTR to take the necessary steps.

In a good news to 52,000 employees of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), they will be recognized as government employees from January 1st 2020.
Transport minister Perni Nani had introduced the APSRTC (Absorption of Employees into Government Services) Bill 2019 in the Legislative Assembly and it got a unanimous approval from the house. Also the government has to allot Rs 3,600 crore for the salaries of employees and they would be paid on time like any other government employees.
Earlier the YSRCP government has appointed a committee headed by former IPS officer C Anjaneya Reddy responsible for the merger, had submitted its report to the government. Following the report, the government had come up with the new APSRTC bill seeking absorption of the employees.
On the other hand, this is a bad news for TSRTC employees who recently went for strike for over 52 days yet their demands are not met or considered by the Telangana government. With no other options, employees joined back their services. However, Telangana CM KCR promised to revive RTC in just four months and allot Rs 1000 crore in budget.
On the APSRTC employees merge with government, KCR commented that AP government is doing a risk and it is not at all feasible. What will KCR say now and answer to TSRTC employees?

Though Raashi Khanna debuted in 2014 with Oohalu Gusagusalade movie in Tollywood, she hasn’t got the right break as a starlet. While she has done movies with the likes of Jr NTR, Raviteja and Sai Dharam Tej, with almost two releases a year, she never set the ball rolling we must say.

One of the latest songs released from Superstar Mahesh’s latest flick Sarileru Neekevvaru is this “He’s Soo Cute”. It is about the heroine of the filming all of her heart for the hero who has flattered her just like that. In other words, it has Rashmika singing a song for Mahesh, trying to impress him to fall in her love.
While the song is all about signing the cuteness of Mahesh Babu, actually it is Rashmika who is cuter they say. She has impressed with her dance moves and her expressions are quite catchy. Though she has no variations as these expressions are something we have seen in movies like Chalo and Geetha Govindam already, she managed to pull off well alongside Mahesh.
And if Rashmika could prove that she could outshine the likes of Trisha in ‘Athadu’ and Samantha in ‘Dookudu’ with other scenes and songs of the film Sarileru Neekevvaru, surely she will be the next big heroine in Tollywood while she has Allu Arjun’s film already.

Making later producer Dr Ramanaidu’s dream of seeing his son Venky and grandson Chay in the same movie come true, Suresh Babu has come up with “Venky Mama” under the direction of KS Bobby. Despite announcing release date suddenly, the film opened to a stunning box office.
Collecting almost 45 crores gross in its first weekend from box office across the world, Venky Mama has done the unthinkable. Despite average reviews and ratings, people started endorsing this comedy entertainer that has two heroes, two heroines and some interesting scenes. And now, how much more Venky Mama is going to collect is what trade circuits are talking about.
Actually, Venky Mama has only three more days left including that of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It has to mint the maximum in this time, as four films are hitting this Friday including Prathiroju Pandage, Ruler, Donga and Dabangg 3. These four films not only take some theatres of Venky Mama but also stand in the competition, as they give a lot more choices for audiences to pick up tickets.
If Venky Mama could survive that competition, surely the film could easily make 75-80 crores gross in the long run, is what Suresh Babu is said to be believing in. Let’s see what happens.

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu had established a set of rules in and around Amaravati in the last four years.He opposed any form of protest anywhere around Amaravati in the last four years. The roads were closed at the beginning of Prakasam Barrage in Vijayawada, at Mangalagiri on the national highway and at Thulluru on Guntur side.
The roads around Velagapudi were kept clean all through and there was rule of police prevailed around with the police imposing strict orders.

Travel bus caught playing ‘Venky Mama’ pirated print
Last night, Jabbar Travels bus en route to Mysore was red handedly caught playing the pirated print of recent release Venky Mama.
A few fans of Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya who were onboard were quick to react and obstructed the bus operators. They have filed a police case against the travel agency and one of the bus operators was detained by Kurnool police.
We have seen quite a few instances where travel busses were caught playing pirated prints of Telugu films just three to four days after their release and this incident is the latest addition to the list.
At a time when footfalls at theaters are already on a decline, acts like these can cause further damage. It is time for the Telugu film industry to get in touch with travel agencies and sort the issue out.
