Allu Arjun’s Dialogues: Perfect Timing
One of the super exciting moment coming from the teasers of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is that they are somehow linked to real-life happenings. Yes, we are talking about the way this film’s dialogues are being linked with some realtime scenarios.
When the first-ever title revelation teaser of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo came up, Allu Arjun said the dialogue “Gap teeskola.. Vachindi”, which made fans go berserk. This is because the dialogue is actually in sync with the huge gap Bunny took after his last outing Na Peru Surya released.
And now, in the teaser of the movie, he says, “Patalatho baga pack chesam ga.. inkem kavali? dialogue ledhana?”. This is also in sync with the presence situation as only songs from Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo are released so far, and fans are waiting to hear some dialogues from this Trivikram directorial.
One wonders if the film’s story really has the need for these dialogues and they are just making use of them for promotions, or they created these dialogues for the sake of promotion and inserted into the film.
Director Asks For Glamour, Ismart Girl Says NO
Barring few negligible heroines, most heroines these days are seen in revealing outfits and figure-hugging costumes. That way everyone is literally pouring more glamour on the silver screen. But many do quit doing glamorous roles after they become superstars. However, this hottie is quitting just after one hit film.
There is this ‘ismart’ girl whose terrific show of assets and curves went viral when her recent hit film released. Apparently this hottie has shot to fame only for her glamour treat first while the dubbing artist who is giving voice to her is saving her in the scenes. But then, the heroine started giving shockers to her upcoming films’ makers.
Apparently, when the director of her upcoming film wanted her too look super hot in a song that is being shot in a special set, she’s said to have walked away from the shooting spot. Because she doesn’t want to wear revealing costumes and said to the director that audiences want to see her expressions but not hotness.
Well, looks like heroine is surely daydreaming about her acting prowess, but the reality is the opposite of it.
Releasing Today: Controversial Movie Of The Year
Ram Gopal Varma may have lost his midas touch in terms of filmmaking finesse, but he still knows how to grab attention and sell tickets irrespective of content and quality of the film.
He has made Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu right after Telugu Desam Party’s humiliating defeat at the hands of Jagan’s YSRCP.
Ramu is aware of the fact that this film would turn heads given its controversial content and characters.
The film was expectedly stopped at the Censors and a revising committee was appointed before it made it to the theaters. RGV was also forced to change the title of the film. It is releasing today in theaters as Amma Rajyamlo Kadapa Biddalu.
The film has created enough buzz with its promos that it is sure to take a good start at the box office. Is this film really good enough or is it just another Ramu’s film that aims to make a quick buck out of sensation?
Mahesh Babu Gets 20 Cr More Than Maharshi
What is the final remuneration that Mahesh Babu is getting from his current movie “Sarileru Neekevvaru”? Here is the answer.
The film’s entire satellite, digital, Hindi dubbing rights and music streaming rights have been sold. All business has been closed.
As per the agreement, producers have parted all these rights to Mahesh Babu as part of his remuneration.
The film’s satellite and digital rights were snapped up by Sun TV group about Rs 30 crore. Hindi dubbing rights were closed for Rs 15 crore.
Music streaming rights plus other language satellite rights may fetch him another Rs 1 or 1.5 crores. Deducting GST, he will take home of Rs 40 to 42 crore. This is the final deal.
This is his final remuneration from the movie. He has got Rs 20 crore amount than what he received for his previous movie “Maharshi”.
However, producer Anil Sunkara and his partner Dil Raju may not see much profits from this project from theatrical deals.
Balakrishna keeping away from politics?
Senior actor and Telugu Desam Party legislator from Hindupur Nandamuri Balakrishna appears to be disgusted with the politics, following the miserable defeat of the party in the recent elections.
Though his brother-in-law and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and son-in-law Nara Lokesh have been trying to put up an aggressive posture against the YSR Congress party government led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for quite some time, Balakrishna has been keeping away from all these activities.
Such was the apathy he has been showing towards the party activities that Balakrishna conveniently abstained from the inauguration of the TDP central office at Mangalagiri last week on the pretext that he has a shooting schedule on that day.
In fact, inauguration of the party office was one of the biggest events of the party that would boost the morale of the party cadre. Since Balakrishna is none other than Naidu’s brother-in-law, everybody expected that he would come for the inauguration of the party office.
But Balakrishna is learnt to have fixed the launch date of his next film with Boyapati Sreenu on the same day so as to skip the inauguration of the party office.
“He should have made a quick visit to Mangalagiri, if he really wanted. But, it appears Balakrishna wanted to deliberately avoid the party function,” sources said.
In fact, Balakrishna has not been attending any of the agitational programmes of the TDP for the last five months – whether it was Chalo Atmakur or Chalo Amaravati. He did not even attend the programme at Anantapur during Naidu’s visit.
Even when Naidu called for a meeting of TDP legislature party before the commencement of the assembly session, Balakrishna was no where to be seen. And he is not attending the ongoing session as well.
He has not been making any political comments of late, though he used to do so whenever the media persons approached him. What is going on in his mind? Nobody knows!
#Viveka Murder: ‘Will hang myself in public if Proved’!
From the past few days the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has speed up their probe in the mysterious death of YS Vivekananda Reddy. The SIT has summoned notices to many people who have association with Viveka and it is going on.
The other day the SIT has served notices to BJP leader Adinarayana Reddy and was asked to come for questioning on December 12th. Responding on this Adinarayana Reddy called on the media and clarified that he has nothing to do with Viveka’s murder.
“Not even one percent connection I have with this case but I will be myself before the SIT and will answer to the questions. If they prove that I have a hand in this case, I will hang myself in public. What will Jagan do, if it is proved that their own family members are involved,” questioned Adinarayana Reddy.
The BJP leader further said that nobody trusts the SIT probe and the YSRCP government is sincere, they should hand over the case to CBI.
Earlier this year in March, Viveka was found dead in his residence under mysterious circumstances. Till date the real culprits are yet to be caught.
Mahesh’s ‘Humbl’ Business With Sarileru Neekevvaru
In a joint venture with e-commerce platform Spoyl, Mahesh Babu has come up with ‘The Humbl Co’, his own clothing brand. And now, he is using his own latest movie to promote this brand big time.
Whenever Mahesh partners in movie production, (say Brahmtosavam) there are instances where they bring in a lot of in-film branding, promote merchandise and even sell every single hoarding of the film to a particular brand. That way Mahesh cashes on little brands through his movies. But this time, Mahesh appeared in his own brand shirts inside Sarileru Neekevvaru and using the film to sell his brand.
As he happens to be one of the producers of the film, surely other producers can’t say no to the superstar to promote “The Humbl Co”. Also, we hear that most of the shirts featured in Sarileru Neekevvaru which Mahesh wore are from this brand only. That’s the reason the brand launched a special collection of Sarileru Neekevvaru shirts now.
‘Mee Atthagariki Meeru Ivvaledu… Memu Iccham: CM Jagan
Everyday Andhra Pradesh assembly is having heated debates on several subjects and today, the opposition TDP questioned the YSRCP government on the nominated posts. TDP alleged that YSRCP is giving away nominated posts to their party supporters and sympathisers and are misusing their power.
CM YS Jagan directly intervened in this debate and added that no other state government in the country is giving nominated posts to backward classes, Dalits and minorities. “We are giving fifty percent of posts to the SCs, STs and minorities. Even making sure that women are getting placed in it,” said Jagan and then read out few names who were appointed by his government.
In the names, Lakshmi Parvathi’s name popped up. “Chairman of Telugu Academy is Lakshmi Parvathi. She is none other than opposition leader’s mother-in-law. They did not give any sort of opportunity to her but our government gave her a respectable position,” stated Jagan.
As and when Jagan took out Lakshmi Parvathi’s name, all the eyes in the Assembly stared at Chandrababu. However the TDP chief maintained his composure and did not comment.
Further the CM said we made sure all the communities got equal importance and there is a balance. TDP’s allegations are just baseless.
Donga: Good Trailer But Tough Competition
With ‘Khakhee’ and ‘Khaidi’ hero Karthi is in super form. Like his brother Suriya, Karthi is doing wide range of roles and getting the audiences applause. Now Karthi has better following than his brother and so many directors are showing interest to work with him.
But Karthi is picking directors of his choice and has teamed up with Jeethu Joseph who made the sensational film like ‘Drishyam.’ Karthi and Joseph’s is titled ‘Donga’ (Thambi in Tamil) and the trailer of it was unveiled last evening.
It is a tale of a family compromising of a father, mother, sister and brother. However the young lad goes absconding in the childhood and returns as an adult. Does the youngster is really the one or is he eyeing the assets of the family. The rest should be watched on the big screen. Going by the trailer, it is packed with action, love and entertainment elements. The emotions can also be seen here but it’s the backdrop that is unalike.
This is for the first time Karthi and his real-life sister-in-law Jyothika are teaming up as brother and sister. Their performance with the touch of actor Satyaraj would undoubtedly be the main asset of the film. But can the film survive a tough competition is a million Dollar question.
‘Donga’ is releasing for Christmas and this is the main reason. Many Telugu films have struggled for a release during this season and in spite of this a bunch of films are hitting the screens. The likes of ‘Ruler’, ‘Prati Roju Pandaage’ followed by ‘Iddari Lokam Okate’ and ‘Mathu Vadalara’ have already locked their berth. The biggie ‘Venky Mama’ is releasing just a little ahead but if at all the film gets a good talk and it will dominate the box office and the following week will have four releases.
Amidst such testing situation, ‘Donga’ getting theatres is really a hard task. If it manages and releases, how does it will fare at the box office are some of the questions only time can answer us.
Sensational Singer Gets Replaced By Thaman
One of the sensational singers of the present times is none other than Sid Sriram. Notwithstanding the fact that he renders songs without ‘Shruti’ and out of meter most of the times, some of the songs he sang became super hit instantly. That led to this NRI Tamil guy’s meteoric rise in Tollywood.
Recently almost every hero is making sure that Sid will sing at least a single song in their movie. And with Thaman delivering ‘Samajavaragamana’ in his voice, and with the song clocking almost 300 million views, there is no looking back for the singer. But then, the very same Thaman has replaced Sid Sriram from a superb song he scored for Venky Mama. Can you believe it?
Apparently Thaman is said to have been waiting for Sid Sriram’s call sheet for a while in order to finish the recording of the romantic melody ‘Nuvvu Nenu’ from Venky Mama. And with Sid not giving him time even after waiting for a week, Thaman has recorded the same song with Anurag Kulkarni says a source. He is the singer who has sung for Ramuloo Ramulaa song from Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which has become a super hit.
Of course, but waiting for Sid would have got more attention for Venky Mama song, isn’t it? While the beach song’s visuals are catchy, the tune is bit simple and routine.
Oops Venky Mama! Raashi Is Busy In Eluru
With the release date inching in, almost all the star cast will be indulging in hefty promotions. That’s what the lead cast of Venky Mama are doing as producer Suresh Babu declared a release date (Dec 13) within a short notice. But then, glam girl Raashi Khanna is said to be focusing on a side business in this tight schedule.
Raashi is very much in Hyderabad from the last one week to promote Venky Mama and also take part in some of Prathiroju Pandage’s promotions too. But then, with tempting offers coming up in the form of shop openings and other ribbon cuttings, the actress felt that she could take up 1-hour journeys from Hyderabad to undertake such assignments where she also gets loads of money.
On Wednesday, she has flown to Eluru in West Godavari district to launch a shopping mall. With the release date of Venky mama just two days away, one wonders why did she left promotions of the movie in Hyderabad and focusing on this side business.
#RRR Video Leak: Jr NTR Back Off From Shoot?
The plan is that Jr NTR will be taking part in a week-long shoot in Araku Valley’s reserve forest as SS Rajamouli has prepared to cane some interesting scenes of Komaram Bheem inspired ideas here. While the unit has taken permissions and went to the place to shoot, it is quite surprising to see that NTR has returned from the place just in a day.
With Tarak landing in Hyderabad today morning, a piece of news is doing rounds that the shooting of #RRR in Araku got cancelled abruptly. They say that with lots of people in the valley surrounding the shoot, and videos being shot on mobiles only to be shared on social media, #RRR team is said to have felt the need to stop the leakages. That would happen only if they shoot in a secluded and safeguarded location rather an open one.
For that reason, the team of #RRR is said to have moved to Hyderabad again, hoping that they would film the rest of the action sequence in a special set that will be erected in Ramoji Film City rather shooting in Araku and getting the content exposes. We have to see what #RRR makers will say about these gossips.
