Rana Doing Everything For Bava And Baabai
For weeks, actor-producer Rana Daggubati is out of action and in the USA regarding his personal work. But then, recently has nosedived into action, this time not for any of his films, but regarding “Venky Mama” movie. Apparently, there is said to be a strong reason behind this.
Needless to say, Rana is quite close to his Baabai Venkatesh and cousin ‘baava’ Naga Chaitanya. The very thought that these two are featuring in a movie are said to have excited Rana to the core. For that reason, when this film has some issues related to visual effects, he is said to have handled all of them, by associating right technicians with the movie who could give the output desired by director Bobby. Later when Rana was in the USA, he got some of the VFX of Venky Mama done at some studios in Los Angeles, they say.
Back to India, when Suresh Babu was literally shaken though he has announced December 13 as release date just 10 days in advance, Rana is said to have jumped into the scene to plan promotions and media strategy. He has already interviewed Venky and Chay, and more active on social media to promote the film big time.
One couldn’t resist but say Rana is giving all out for Baabai and Baava to make sure that their victory resounds amongst film lovers for a long time. Suresh Babu, Venky and Chay must be super proud of Rana for sure.
Raashi Khanna Gives Hyd Flat To Rent, Relocates To Mumbai!
Since a year ago, beautiful heroine Raashi Khanna is in the news as she bought a lavish apartment here in Hyderabad at a gated community in Gachibowli. Lots of Telugu producers used to appreciate her as she stays in Hyderabad and never burdened producers with hotel bills. But here’s the twist.
Apparently Raashi is said to have vacated her own flat in Hyderabad recently and shifted to Mumbai. She’s said to have given her flat for rent to some Telugu family before moving to Mumbai. The reason is that the hottie is looking forward to pursuing a career in Bollywood like her predecessors Taapsee and Rakul Preet, who shifted from Tollywood after a while. But there is a condition to that.
Raashi Khanna has two big releases coming up, one happening to be Venky Mama (Dec 13) and other one is Prathiroju Pandage (Dec 25). If these two films turn out to be a super hit, then Raashi will be catering her time to Hyderabad most of the time. Else she might divide time between Bollywood and here.
However, sources close to the heroine stated that as Raashi is very confident of Venky Mama’s success, and also about her Tik Tok addicted role in Prathiroju Pandage, there is no way that she is leaving Tollyoowd. But she has shifted to Mumbai as she is these days missing out her friends like Vaani Kapoor there.
How Kajal & Rakul Pushed Samantha Down?
When it comes to the Most Mentioned Twitter accounts of 2019, from the entertainment industry, the ‘Female Top 10’ sounded little ridiculous though Twitter might have supported their claim on the realtime data they have.
The Top 10 list of Female entertainers has in the order of their ranks: Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Sharma, Lata Mangeshkar, Archana Kalapathi, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Kajal Aggarwal, Sunny Leone, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Rakul Preet Singh. With Kajal at 7th rank and Rakul at 10th rank, many Telugu cinema lovers who are proactive on Twitter are finding it tough to believe.
Though this ranking deals with account mentions, keywords and other searches related to these celebs, many feel that with almost 7.8 million followers on twitter, a digit that is double to the number of followers Kajal (3.3 Million) and Rakul (3.8 Million) are having, it looks surprising that Samantha didn’t feature in the Top 10 list.
Of course, Deepika Padukone has 26.6 Million followers, but she too didn’t feature in the Top 10, which explains that people are discussing most about Kajal and Rakul, than Deepika and Samantha.
Lokesh Responds On Pappu Comments!
Nara Lokesh has responded to the ‘Pappu & Batch’ Comments by Vamsi. Admitting his goof-up on language like ‘Jayanthi’ & ‘Vardhanti’, Lokesh said he has done his bachelors B.Tech from the Carnegie Mellon University in the US and later worked in the World Bank for 2 years and later pursued his MBA from Stanford University. Lokesh said he has stayed in the US for 8 long years.
Admitting that he is not fluent in Telugu and did make some mistakes in a few words, Lokesh shot a straight question to YCP leaders that how it has affected the state and the people. Lokesh said whether the investments to the state have gone back owing to his Telugu.
He also shot back at the Vamsi & YCP leaders saying that he has been targeted in the Assembly though he is not the member of the Assembly. Lokesh said he is the second-most targeted in Assembly after his father Chandrababu Naidu. He said how Speaker is allowing to take his name in the Assembly every now and then when he is not the member of the house. Lokesh said this is against to the tradition of the Assembly.
Lokesh claimed that he had done remarkable work as IT & Panchayat Raj Minister. He said AP was the only state which got the highest funds for Upadhi Hami (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme). He said the state got several awards when he was the minister.
Breathing fire on CM Jagan, Lokesh said he and TDP are not in a position to learn from a person who had looted public money and was jailed for 16 months. Lokesh said even the CBI and ED have stated Jagan of involving in corruption and wrongdoings.
Meanwhile, in his latest speech too, Lokesh made some mistakes in Telugu. He has wrongly pronounced the words ‘Sasana Sabha’ and ‘Sampradayam’. This has given fodder to the trollers yet again. Trolls had field day with Lokesh’s fresh comments. Criticism also came from netizens that why Lokesh and TDP lost in Mangalagiri and the state when he had served well and achieved several awards.
Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo’s Special Show At World’s Largest Screen
Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo, the third film in the combination of Julayi and Son of Sathyamurthy duo Allu Arjun and Trivikram, is scheduled for its worldwide release on January 12th. Fans’ expectations on this film are increasing with each passing day.
Meanwhile, here is an interesting update. Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo will be having a special screening at IMAX Melbourne on the 12th of January. Incidentally, this is the world’s largest cinema screen. The show will begin at 7:30 am. The film will have English subtitles with Telugu dialogues.
Given the humongous hype, Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo is bound to open to some record breaking opening collections both in the Telugu states and overseas. Trade circles are predicting that the film may collect highest of the bunny career in overseas market, if it clicks with the audience.
#BiggBoss Beauty In Financial Crunch?
Participating in #BiggBoss might give them the instant craze, but there is no assurance that their careers will take a new turn after they come out of this reality show. Poor response Worrying Balayya’s Ruler!
In a shocking development, there is poor response from trade for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s forthcoming release Ruler. As the film is all set for release on Dec 20, the theatrical business of the film is not closed for a single area. Trade sources reveal that Balayya’s shocking weight loss, disappointing teaser and trailer have affected the film’s theatrical business to the core.
Producer C Kalyan is said to be a worried lot with this shocking poor response. He thought the success of Jai Simha would help Ruler. He had thought the powerful title ‘Ruler’ and mass elements would get business offers from distributors. Even the glamour of heroines shown in the trailer have not helped the film’s theatrical business.
All these factors have acted against the film’s business. As usual, Balayya is not bothered about this and he has moved onto his next film with director Boyapati Sreenu.
Prabhas Film Facing Financial Problems?
Why is that Prabhas keep postponing the shooting of his new film #Prabhas20?
The film had already completed a major schedule in October 2018 in Italy and since then it has been put on hold. Why has he left for another vacation putting the production of his current film in limbo?
Various versions are floating around for the movie not resuming the shoot yet. That Prabhas needs to cut down weight is one reason being said and the other is that he wants more changes in the script.
These reasons also hold water. But the real issue, according to our sources, is producers are facing a financial crunch.
UV Creations had invested huge money in the making of ‘Saaho’ but the returns on the movie were not that great.
Though they made good money from the non-theatrical revenue, their money has been stuck in this current film. To complete this movie, they need a huge amount. The production company is now looking for various options.
Since Prabhas has a huge market in North India, the production company is likely to sell the Hindi rights now to get the money.
Director Radhakrishna Kumar will also have to cut down big plans about VFX and other things.
Allu Arjun Imitates Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan!
The first glimpse of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo teaser has left mega fans wanting for more. The video has reminded them of the iconic comedy scene from Rowdy Alludu.
According to reports, Allu Arjun will be imitating Chiranjeevi and also Pawan Kalyan in the film.
Trivikram has reportedly given tribute to the Mega Brothers in Ala Vaikunthapurramulo.
Although the film looks classy with its title and songs, it will have good action episodes too. Trivikram’s last film Aravindha Sametha has one of the best action scenes ever.
Even Ala Vaikunthapurramulo will have good action blocks and ample comedy that was missing in Trivikram’s last film.

Why did TRS vote against Citizenship Bill?
Telangana state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has questioned Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as to why his party had opposed and voted against Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 in Lok Sabha.
BJP official spokesman K Krishna Sagar Rao said Hindus in Telangana State should see through KCR’s mask of appeasement politics.
KCR who claims himself as a ‘Bigger Hindu’ than anyone else in the state, had opposed and tried blocking a bill which will save lakhs of Hindus suffering religious persecution and violence in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
“KCR and his party are trying to block Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 in Rajya Sabha too. It is a historic bill, which provides lifeline for lakhs of Hindu refugees and can save their families from forced religious conversion, violence and oppression in the above three Islamic nations and grant them citizenship protection in India,” Rao said.
He said the BJP questioned and exposed the fake claims of KCR that he is a ‘Bigger Hindu’. In fact, BJP believes, KCR has no sincerity to neither his own religion, nor to any others, his agenda is solely electoral appeasement.
“BJP considers TRS as a B-Team of AIMIM and Congress party in the state of Telangana. KCR is a political puppet in the hands of Asaduddin Owaisi & his electorate,” the BJP spokesman said.
Pink Remake to Begin After Sankranthi
Pawan Kalyan might be busy with sudden political activity, but he has not left his plans for a comeback into movies.
The pre-production work of Telugu remake of ‘Pink’ is underway silently. Dil Raju is personally involving in this.
We have reliably come to know that Dil Raju is planning to commence the regular shoot of the “Pink” remake after Sankranthi 2020.
Pawan Kalyan may join the shoot sometime later but Dil Raju will start the filming with other cast members.
Pawan Kalyan has already given his nod to this remake besides agreeing to act in Krish’s movie. However, Krish’s film may not materialize now. The Pink Remake is all set to commence its shoot.
Then why is Pawan Kalyan is making so much noise politically? It is a deliberate attempt. He doesn’t want people to assume that he has completely changed tracks from politics to the cinema world.
He will continue his political stint but will also act in movies for another two or three years.
Why Hasn’t Naidu Declared Assets Yet?
The humiliating defeat of Telugu Desam Party headed by Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the hands of YSR Congress party led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in the assembly elections held in April has changed the political scenario in the state.
While Naidu and his party are thoroughly crestfallen, the focus of the people has now shifted to the rule of YSR Congress party government.
The media and independent political observers are keenly watching the performance of Jagan government.
In the process, everybody seems to have forgotten an interesting development that is supposed to have happened by now. It is the annual ritual of “declaration of assets” by Naidu and his family members.
For the last few years, Naidu and his family members have been declaring their assets.
Initially, Naidu used to declare his assets in September for the financial year that concluded in the previous March month. In the last couple of years, the schedule of assets declaration had slightly been postponed.
In 2017, it happened in October and in 2018, it happened in the first week of December. Both times, Naidu’s son Lokesh had declared his family assets, as Naidu was a little busy with his official work.
Every time, the family makes a tall claim that there is the only political family to declare the assets in the most transparent manner.
This year, however, there has not been any word yet from Naidu or his family members on the declaration of the assets.
At least last year, Naidu was busy with political activity because of the election year. But this year, he is virtually free and his son is more or less jobless.
So, there should be no hurdles for the family to declare assets. May be, they need some more time to finalise the figures to show that theirs is the poorest political family!
In fact, last year, Naidu had projected the net worth of his assets at just Rs 2.99 crore. He has liabilities worth Rs 5.31 crore and total assets worth Rs 8.31 crore.
He showed that the amount in his savings accounts worth around Rs 4.8 lakh in banks. Even now, he still owns an Ambassador car of 1993 model, which is worth around Rs 1.5 lakh.
Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of Naidu, holds net assets worth Rs 31 crore and total assets holds around 53.3 crore.
Lokesh has net assets worth Rs 21.4 crore by March 31, 2018. He holds total assets of Rs 27.29 crore. He has liabilities of Rs 5.88 crore.
Lokesh’s wife Nara Brahmani holds Rs 7.72 crore as net assets and Rs 13.38 crore as total assets. Nara Devansh, son of Lokesh has total assets worth Rs 18.71 crore.
