One More Sequel For Anushka After Baahubali?
Though director Rajamouli has first thought of making a single film titled “Baahubali”, the story span was so large that he has decided to split into two parts when they are halfway through the shooting. And then, both parts of Baahubali franchisee have become super hits at the box office.
Since then, many films are trying to explore this ‘two-part’ idea, but only KGF has made the most of it. After the first part flopped, many filmmakers have dropped the idea of making the sequel. And now, we hear that Anushka is heading for another sequel on the lines of Baahubali with her latest movie ‘Nishabdam’, no matter how this first part turns out to be. Wonder why?
Actually, after they have readied their slick cut on the editing table, the film is said to be standing at 4 hours length. That prompted Kona Venkat to come up with the idea of hiding some major twists from the film and filming a couple of days more such that they will get two 2.5 hours films. Though everyone involved in the movie is yet to give nod, discussions are going on now about this.
Directed by Hemanth Madhukar, Nishabdam has Anushka, Madhavan, Anjali and Shalini Pandey in key roles, while Hollywood actors Michael Madsen played a crucial role. The film is set for Jan 31, 2020 release.
Venky Gives Back To Rana At Football Match
Senior hero Venkatesh happens to be a hardcore fan of cricket and he has made his presence felt not only at World Cup matches and IPL matches but also at those state league matches played by Telugu teams. Such a hardcore fan of cricket, has other day surprised everyone as he turned up at a Football match in Hyderabad.
Leaving his busy promotion schedule of Venky Mama movie, Venkatesh is said to have got disappeared for more than 3 hours, in order to visit this match being played Hyderabad Football Club with another team, as part of the Indian Soccer League matches. One wonders what made Venky put a pause on the promotions of his Dec 13th releasing movie, but there is a lovable reason behind it.
When people have asked why did Venky left promotions for the football match, he’s said to have told them: “Rana is doing so much for the film Venky Mama, that he has not invited any celebs to cheer up his own Hyderabad FC team in ISL. As his Baabai, it’s my duty to give back love to him at this need of the hour”.
Well, that’s what you call giving value to relationships over anything else. Don’t many folks expect all their ‘Baabais’ to be like this?
Just 3 Songs In Allu Arjun’s Film?
The combination of Stylish Star Allu Arjun and creative director Sukumar is an excitement for everyone and more especially for the music lovers. This is because the two are known for delivering two musical blockbusters through Arya and Arya2. Both the films have terrific, melodious and foot-tapping music scored by Devi Sri Prasad.
Now that the due are meeting for the third time with #AA20, surely the excitement is much more. But we are hearing that this time there will be no such musical treat from these two heroes. As per some rumours, the film will have only three songs, with one being the intro song of the hero and his work in the forest as he trucks red sander logs out of the forest. Then there is said to be only one romantic number between Allu Arjun and Rashmika.
While many expect the third one to be an item number given the fact that Sukumar loves to churn out such songs all the time, but then this is a folk song, that will have pathos backdrop after the whole hero’s gang except him gets eliminated in an encounter.
If these reports are true, then there are neither dance numbers, nor any foot-tapping songs from Allu-Sukku duo, leaving music lovers in a disappointment. Let’s see until the official news arrives.
Heroine Files For Divorce Before First Anniversary!
In a shocking development, actress Shweta Basu Prasad has announced her separation from husband Rohit. Shweta, who had tied the knot with Rohit last year i.e December 13, 2018, has shocked her fans by taking to social media that her wedding has been ended in less than a year.
In a long post, Shweta wrote, “Hi everyone, Rohit Mittal and I have mutually decided to part our ways and end our marriage. After months of contemplation, we arrived at this decision few months ago in each others’ best interest, as individuals. Not every book is supposed to be read cover to cover, that doesn’t mean the book is bad, or one can’t read, some things are just best left unfinished. Thank you Rohit for the irreplaceable memories and always inspiring me. have a great life ahead, forever your cheerleader.”
Rohit Mittal is a film director of Autohead fame. Popular Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap had apparently played the ‘matchmaker’ for Shweta and Rohit. Shweta was introduced to Rohit by Anurag Kashyap at his production house Phantom Films.
It was Shweta who had first proposed to Rohit at Goa. Later, Rohit had accepted her proposal in Pune. The duo had seen each other for quite a time before taking their relationship forward. The duo had married on 13th December, 2018 at Pune in a Bengali wedding.
Rana: My grandfather would have scolded me if he was here
Venky Mama musical night was held in Hyderabad today and it was graced by the lead cast. Rana attended the event as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Rana said he feels really happy that his uncle Venkatesh and nephew Naga Chaitanya are coming together for Venky Mama.
“My grandfather would have scolded me if he was here for not acting alongside Chaitanya and Venkatesh. He always wished to see alongside each other in a movie.”, Rana said.
Raashi Khanna, who is pairing up with Naga Chaitanya in the film said she feels humbled to have acted with Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya in the film.
“I play a strong role in the film and it is unlike any of my previous ones. I thoroughly enjoyed working on Venky Mama.”, Payal Rajput said.
Naidu Has Nothing Do With Heritage Fresh?
The discussion on onion crisis in the Andhra Pradesh state assembly has thrown up an interesting debate on some other topic: sale of onions in Heritage Fresh.
YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy claimed that his government was making available onions at Rs 25 a kg in all the agriculture market yards and Rythu Bazars.
He sought to know whether Naidu was selling onions at the same rate in his family concern Heritage Fresh. He pointed out that the price of onions at Heritage Fresh shops was Rs 200 per kg.
Refuting Jagan’s allegations, Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu explained that he or his family had nothing to do with Heritage Fresh now.
“The retail business of Heritage Group – including Heritage Fresh has been sold to Future Group, three years ago. We only own Heritage Foods now which do not deal with onions or any grocery item for that matter. The chief minister and his team should learn the difference between Heritage Fresh and Heritage Foods,” he said.
He challenged that he would resign from his MLA seat if the government proved that Heritage Fresh belonged to him or his family.
“Otherwise, will Jagan be ready for stepping down?” he asked.
However, finance minister Buggana Rajendranath read out from a financial daily that the Future Retail had signed a definitive agreement to acquire the retail, agriculture, and bakery businesses of Heritage Foods.
“This is true. But at the same time, the news report also said Heritage Foods, owned by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, will get 3.65% stake in Future Retail worth of Rs 295 crore. It clearly shows that Naidu and his family are still part of the Heritage Foods,” he pointed out.
So, if Heritage Foods makes profits from sale of onions at high rates, Naidu also would get a share in the profits. So, how can he deny his responsibility in the sale of onions at Rs 200 a kg in Heritage Foods?
