I Am Still Under 30 And Haven’t Aged – Nagarjuna
Nagarjuna Akkineni always comes across as a person who loves to maintain a healthy lifestyle and even look young. He enjoys compliments that he is looking smart and young but he gets annoyed with questions about what he does.
In a recent promotional interview for Manmadhudu-2, he said, “I don’t think like I crossed 30 years of age. I am ever of my date of birth and I know that age is just a number.
People of my age talk about medicines, body pains and I don’t like such company. I want to talk about technology, books, gadgets and apps but not about daily life problems.
I can’t take that. I am better off with a 30 year olds who think about diets, food intake and talk about new ideas. I want that freshness but not complaining.”
He did say that he understands he can’t play 30 year old or 25 years old on screen and hence, he chooses to play 40 or 45 year old heroes. He said that understands the frame won’t be appealing to see him with half the age actresses and hence, he is very careful too.
Nag revealed that Manmadhudu-2 will not be about a womaniser but a person who doesn’t have it in him to maintain a relationship with anyone. Movie is releasing on 9th August.
Jana Sena Talks More About Jagan Than Itself
The Jana Sena Political Affairs Committee meeting was interesting on two counts. The meeting talked more about the BJP and YS Jagan and less about Jana Sena itself. Interestingly, more time was spent discussing YS Jagan. There was discussion about the likely alliance between the BJP and the Jana Sena. But, Jagan was the main subject of the meeting.
Most leaders questioned party’s lone MLA Rapaka Varaprasad as to why he has praised YS Jagan to skies. He was asked to explain his reasons for Jagan’s praise. Party senior leaders reportedly felt that these praises have badly dented the party image. They said that Rapaka Varaprasad should have focused on the budgetary allocations and Jana Sena’s priorities. But, Rapaka maintained studious silence and did not answer the questions.
The party has also decided to play a more pro-active role in opposing the YSRCP government. The party felt that it should launch agitational programmes in a big way to win the people’s confidence. The party still feels that it is the real counter to the YSRCP. The Jana Sena feels that it should join hands with the BJP to take on the YSRCP.
Why Didn’t Sonia or Rahul Attend Jaipal Funeral?
The decision of Congress bosses Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi to abstain from attending the funeral of veteran Congress leader and former Union minister S Jaipal Reddy on Monday upset many party leaders in Telangana.
Both Sonia and Rahul had sent their condolence messages to the bereaved family members of Jaipal Reddy and deputed senior leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mallikarjun Kharge for the funeral.
Even former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and several senior colleagues like Chidambaram and Jairam Ramesh did not attend the funeral.
The mother-son duo did not even consider coming to Hyderabad to pay floral tributes to Jaipal Reddy.
“When former chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy died, they came all the way to Hyderabad to pay tributes. But, they did not want to see even the face of Jaipal Reddy. May be, they have a contempt for Telangana leaders,” a Congress leader from Telangana said.
He pointed out the ill-treatment meted out to former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao by Sonia and Rahul.
“May be they did not want to see the Samadhi of PV on the Necklace Road, besides which Jaipal Reddy was cremated,” he said.
Apparently, Sonia and Rahul was not happy with Jaipal Reddy, who did not mince words while criticizing the policies of the Congress high command.
“He had advised Sonia to declare Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao as the chief ministerial candidate in 2014 in order to merge the TRS with the Congress. But she ignored his suggestion and the party had to pay a penalty for the same,” the Congress leader said.
YCP & TDP Asked For Alliance with us: Pawan
Jana Sena chief Pawan who met his party karyakarthas (workers) in Mangalagiri, said both TDP and YSRCP had asked for alliance before the elections but he wanted to contest alone and so he declined the offer. Then Pawan said we shall wait for 100 days of YSRCP government and comment on their governance.
“If people’s issues are not addressed then Jana Sena workers should get ready to fight against the government,” added Pawan and stated that there is a severe shortage of sand in the state and so the construction of party offices got delayed. After the party meeting, Pawan met new Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan in Raj Bhavan.
It was a courtesy call and Pawan was accompanied his brother Naga Babu and Nadella Manohar. When Harichandan took oath Pawan was not in Amaravati and so he could not attend the ceremony. Pawan conveyed his Jana Sena Party ideologies and other activities to the Governor. They are brief discussion about current the political scenario in the state too.

One of the happening production houses Mythri Movie Makers has shot to fame after their big-budgeted productions like Srimanthudu, Janata Garage and Rangasthalam became best blockbusters of those heroes’ careers, while one of them is an industry hit in the non-Baahubali category.
After the 2018 release Rangasthalam, Mythri, however, ventured into producing small budgeted films and came up with the likes of Savyasachi, Chitralahari, Dear Comrade. In the coming days, they will be bringing up Gang Leader and Uppena as well, in the same category. Guess what, most of these films haven’t given the kick and profits like how big budgeted ventures gave them.
In a bid to come back to what is their best, the production house is once again teaming up with big heroes and big directors. According to the grapevine, Mythri has finally succeeded in bringing Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s movie into their kitty. Though the film was supposed to be carved by Geetha Arts, Mythri has successfully led the consultations and bagged the project.
And then, they have dates of Mahesh as well as they locked it for Mahesh-Sukumar film, but now they are in the process of setting up a director for the superstar. Whoever comes up with a story that could fascinate Mahesh is likely to grab this film.
As revealed by Mythri Naveen earlier, they have already paid advance to KGF director Prashant Neel at the behest of Jr NTR, and once the director-hero locks the film, this project will go on sets. But this project might see them sharing the credits with Kalyan Ram as join-producer.
In all likelihood, by the end of 2021, Mythri will see all these films hitting cinemas, such that their track record of scoring massive blockbusters will be back on the track.
Dear Comrade Team Is Trying To Save The Film!
Dear Comrade could end as a disaster after a good start at the box office on first day. Movie got mixed word of mouth and reviews said that the issues are aplenty with the film.Team took the feedback of movie being slow and to add Canteen song, that was promoted extensively as one shot song.
Vijay Devarakonda who normally takes over the promotions and tweets about his films did not confirm anything but lead actress Rashmika Mandanna, did.
She tweeted,
“LISTEN!! We DEAR COMRADE team have a surprise for all of you in the theatres I won’t let you know what exactly it is- I want you all to experience it. We’ve taken into consideration all your feedback and more than this I won’t give you any clues. Now go go!! see see!!”
The movie team has cut the movie short by 15 minutes and added the Canteen song, say sources. This could be confirmed by Vijay soon or not.
But few from USA, who know about the distribution and Word of Mouth of the film, are saying,”Song kalipina..cinema ni trim chesina janalu chudaru bossu.. endukantey cinema mottam reject ipoindi ikkada..! 1Million chesina sare US distributor safe kadu..! 1Million chese range lo cinema itey ledu.. (Nothing can save the film in USA. Even if you add a song or trim the film. Movie has been rejected by audiences and it won’t be able to do 1 Million in US. Even if by some chance it does, it won’t save distributor from losses. But the reality is, movie cannot reach Million dollars in USA!)”
Well, Vijay Devarakonda wanted to take it to four languages and Mythri Movie Makers took a huge gamble with the film by spending more than 35 crores in budget and extra 5 crores on promotions as per the sources.
Movie till date did not cross 16 crores share even though it had a lengthy Bonalu weekend in Telangana. Andhra Pradesh youth seems to have rejected the film, outright. Bharat Kamma, the director might have had right concerns before starting the film, somebody should have heard him out completely.
