This Sunday (Nov 17), the makers of the sensational film ‘George Reddy’ whose trailer has impressed the likes of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan mightily, has arranged for the pre-release event of the movie. But then, the event got cancelled as the Telangana police felt that it will be a law and order problem.

The trailer of George Reddy, featuring the story of Student Leader George Reddy who was brutally killed by assailants in Osmania University Campus itself, has generated huge curiosity.

Liking the trailer, Pawan Kalyan himself is said to have conveyed to director Jeevan Reddy that he will attend the pre-release event of the movie.

However, rather maintaining the law and order, Telangana police intimated that the arrival of Pawan Kalyan will create law and order problem, and hence they denied a permit for the event to be held at Necklace Road.

While fans are upset with the happening, makers of George Reddy are said to be finding an alternative way to bring Pawan and do the event.

Like we have informed already, the upcoming film of Mega son in law Kalyaan Dhev has struck in a financial turmoil. As the producer, Rizwaan Entertainments’s other movie Thippara Meesam tumbled at the box office, they found it tough to take “Super Machhi” forward.

At the eleventh hour, however, Megastar Chiranjeevi has just returned from the USA to look into the matter. Insiders have revealed that Megastar made none other than his son Ram Charan finance this project through Konidela Productions. He’s also said to have assigned people close to him to look into the production affairs of this project that has his alludu Kalyaan in the lead while Rhea Chakraborthy is the female lead.

Usually, Chiranjeevi asks his good friends like Allu Arvind and others to look into such bailouts, but this time, he doesn’t want to give any chance to film industry to turn pointers at him as he’s the bigwig of the tinsel town now. Hence, he asked his son to shoulder the responsibilities, says a source.

Amidst high expectations and tremendous amount of pressure, Nagarjuna took charge as the host for Bigg Boss Season 3. While Nani’s hosting in the second season received criticism, comparisons were inevitable between Nag and NTR, the host for the first season.

But Nag exceeded all the expectations and stole the show on his Bigg Boss debut. The way he conducted himself on the show throughout the season, the way he used to spread warmth in the house and even strictly handle the contestants were in for a special praise from all quarters. As a result, most of the episodes, including the grand finale, registered record TRPs, higher than the previous seasons.

With Season 3 coming to an end, there are speculations that Nag will not be hosting Bigg Boss 4 next year. There were even rumours that Chiranjeevi may step into Nag’s shoes for the next season. But here’s the latest update.

It’s been learnt that Nagarjuna has assured the Bigg Boss organisers that he will surely return as the host for Bigg Boss 4. Needless to say, fans and family audiences will be eagerly waiting for Nag to recreate his magic even in the next season. Bigg Boss 4 is slated to begin in June, 2020.

The lovely Rashmika Mandanna, who earned enormous Telugu fanbase with Chalo, Geetha Govindam, Devdas and Deam Comrade in a very short time is now all set with three other big films in Tollywood, Bheeshma, Sarileru Neekevvaru and opposite Nithin and Mahesh Babu respectively.

She also went on to reveal that she doesn’t like wearing makeup. Celebrities, who are constantly judged on how they look, make heroines like Rashmika difficult to not wear any form of makeup. Rashmika told that she wears it only for the sake of movies and in real life, she is absolutely makeup-free and choose to not wear it in her own downtime.

Rahsmika further added that she thought that people will not like her in the beginning fo her career. But, getting unimaginable fame, name and the affection from her fans makes her truly humbled today. Earlier, the actress posted a few selfies without wearing makeup and she was highly lauded for her flawless skin. While we also agree that Rashmika is a blessed beauty, wearing makeup is a personal choice and we are happy to see her embracing her natural looks.

TDP politburo member and senior leader Varla Ramaiah has made crucial comments on Jr NTR and his association with TDP. As AP politics are centered around Jr NTR with YCP leaders Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi repeatedly raising the topic of Tarak and drawing comparisons between Lokesh and Jr NTR and stressing the need of Jr NTR for beleaguered TDP, Varla Ramaiah has stirred hornet’s nest.

Biting the bullet on sensitive ‘Jr NTR’ topic in TDP, the SC leader Varla said, “Jr NTR is not necessary for TDP. Chandrababu Naidu is the strongest leader and he is leading the party.” Ramaiah added that Naidu is the face of the party and he could steer the party in the right direction.

Varla Ramaiah didn’t stop there. He went onto shoot a volley of questions to AP CM YS Jagan, Minister Kodali Nani and soon-to-be YCP leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi. While Nara Lokesh and other leaders of TDP are maintaining stoic silence on Jr NTR topic in the party, Varla’s comments are expected to kick up a furore as Tarak’s fans may feel hurt with Ramaiah’s comments.

Jr NTR was the star campaigner for TDP in 2009 polls. However, Tarak had stayed away from party activities after TDP lost in 2009. Subsequently AP is bifurcated into Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In 2014 polls, Jr NTR hadn’t campaigned for TDP and TDP had banked on the charisma of Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena and Narendra Modi’s BJP and sailed to victory. In 2019, TDP had contested alone and suffered a great defeat in history. Now, Tarak’s topic has become hot topic in AP politics.

It needs to be seen what Vamsi and Kodali Nani would say now after Ramaiah’s comments.

Chiranjeevi attended the ANR National Awards event as the Chief Guest and gave away the ANR National Award to veteran Bollywood actress Rekha.

On this occasion Chiranjeevi shared a few of his experiences with ANR. Chiranjeevi recollected his memories of acting with ANR in Mechanic Alludu.

Chiranjeevi also said that his mother Anjana Devi is a big fan of Akkineni Nageswara Rao.”My mother went to watch one of his films in theater when she was a nine months pregnant. Perhaps that is the reason why I was attracted to cinema industry,” he said.

Chiranjeevi said that he admires Rekha a lot that he fondly calls his wife Surekha as Rekha because of that.

“I never told this to my wife too,” Chiru said.He also shared his experiences as Rekha’s fellow Rajyasabha member. Chiranjeevi said that Sridevi is the only superstar who kept on acting till her last breath.
