Nithin Overjoyed With Blockbuster Response

Nithin could not have asked for better response for his latest film Bheeshma’s teaser, especially coming after a hiatus and three back to back disasters.

Team Bheeshma has created super buzz around the film by launching a strikingly impressive first glimpse. Nithin and Rashmika’s palpable chemistry in the first glimpse has gone viral.

Bheeshma teaser clocked 5 Million views already and is still trending Number 1 on YouTube.

Nithin and director Venky Kudumula are overwhelmed with the response as the film has suddenly become the talk of the town.

Bheeshma was supposed to come out on December 20, but the makers pushed it to February 21 to avoid the mad rush at the December box office.

Nithin took his time after Srinivasa Kalyanam tanked at the box office and waited until Bheeshma’s script shaped up to his satisfaction.

His patience seems to have paid off big time as Bheeshma will now rest assured of a solid opening with all this buzz around it.

Telugu Cinema Overseas Market Takes A Beating

Share

It has become severely tough for producers to find takers in overseas market for small and medium budget films.

Even big films are not able to fetch hefty amounts like they used to be. Recent crash in collections graph in overseas market has hit the Telugu Cinema Industry pretty hard.

Vijay Deverakonda used to be one of the craziest stars in overseas market. But his upcoming gilm World Famous Lover is yet to find a buyer.

The producer is quoting Rs. 3.5 Cr, but no one is willing to pay that amount after Dear Comrade’s poor performance. More recently, his brand failed to fetch decent numbers for Meeku Matrame Chepta.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna’s Ruler makers are quoting Rs. 3 cr for overseas rights, which is unreasonable for a Balayya starrer. No wonder, the film is left unsold to this point.

Rs 25 lakh spent to launch this new hero!

Share

It is always exceptional occasion to launch a new film star from a rich family on the celluloid.

Especially when he is the son of a popular MP, nephew of a superstar in the film industry and grandson of yesteryears’ superstar and former minister.

Naturally, the range will be at its peak. Well, we are talking about the debut of young hero Ashok Galla, son of Telugu Desam Party MP and industrialist Galla Jayadev.

The launch of Ashok Galla into the film industry was a big show with who’s who of the film industry and politics attending the function.

A little bird tells us that more than Rs 25 lakh was spent just on the launch function.

A huge set was erected in the backdrop, while live telecast was arranged for the function using jimmy cranes.

As if it was not enough, even an anchor was roped in conduct the proceedings of the programme.

The event was graced by celebrities like Ram Charan, Rana, Sudheer Babu, Naresh, Namrata and Amala Akkineni and politicians like Kesineni Nani, K Rammohan Naidu, not to talk about hundreds of film artistes and political activists.

The movie will feature Nidhi Agarwal as the heroine. Sriram Aditya will direct the film.

Apparently, debutant hero Ashok Galla has been trained in acting by Satyanand.

Actually, he should have made its entry into the industry last year itself under Dil Raju’s banner. But it did not make any headway after progressing for a few days.

Now Ashok is venturing into the industry again under his own banner!
