Jagan’s govt changes ‘Abdul Kalam’ name to YSR?
Ever since YSRCP has come to power, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his government is on a name changing spree for several existing schemes. As soon as the new government is formed, ‘NTR Bharosa’ was renamed as ‘YSR Pension’, Anna Canteens were renamed as ‘Rajanna Canteen’ and midday meal scheme is now being called as ‘YSR Akshaya Patra’.
On top of it, the govt is inviting heavy criticism from the erstwhile ruling party and opposition parties for painting the government buildings with colors of their party flag.
In a fresh development, the state government has reportedly issued another controversial G.O renaming ‘Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Prathiba Puraskar Awards’ after Late YSR and it is redesigned as ‘Y. S. R Vidya Puraskars’. These annual awards will be presented to meritorious students who excel in SSC public examinations on birth anniversary of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad as National Education Day.
The decision to take away Missile Man of India’s name for this scheme and it has certainly invited angry reactions from the netizens. It has become a major subject of discussion on social media. In the recent past, social media attacked YSRCP government for painting their party flag colour on a wall that already had Indian tri-colour flag.
Bulletproof Security For Mahesh? Here’s Why
Being a superstar, getting private security and bouncers during shootings and film events is a common thing for Mahesh Babu. But there has been a time recently when Mahesh shot under bulletproof security.
Apparently, the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir was the main reason behind the bulletproof security for Mahesh. It’s well known that the film’s 4-week long first schedule took place in Kashmir’s Pahalgam and Srinagar a couple of months ago.
Just a few days before the announcement of the Article 370 abrogation, Mahesh and Sarileru Neekevvaru’s team were shooting in Pahalgam and Srinagar, where the situation was pretty tense. The film’s producer Anil Sunkara had to seek Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s help to acquire permission to shoot amidst a lot of difficulty.
Anil Sunkara had then applied for permission for bulletproof security for Mahesh, and the actor could reach Pahalgam thanks to the security cover. However, the unit vans were not allowed to enter Pahalgam on day 1. After wrapping up the 4 week long schedule amidst a tight security, the unit returned to Hyderabad safely. And the announcement of the Article 370 abrogation came exactly a couple of days later.
Nani and Samantha – No Way For The Now
From a couple of days, a buzz has started that talented lead actor Nani and Samantha are going to reunite on the silver screen for another love story. Earlier they have come together for two movies including Eega and Eto Vellipoyindi Manasu, of which one was a blockbuster and other one was a flop.
Apparently, some rumours started flowing out that Nani has given nod to his ‘Ninnu Kori’ movie director Siva Nirvana, with whom Samantha recently scored success through ‘Majili’. As both the actors have the utmost trust in the director, many thought that the news is true. But the fact remains something else.
Talking about the same, Siva Nirvana stated, “Noted that, there are some news about my immediate movie plans been spread. I will surely announce my immediate movie project details very soon. Meanwhile, do NOT trust the rumours spread from fake twitter handles”.
We are hearing that actually the director is getting the script ready for Vijay Devarakonda and this film’s shooting will take off after the hero wraps his movie with Puri Jagan. So for now, there is no way Sam and Nani are teaming up again.
Chiru’s New Look Is Worrying Mega Fans
From a couple of months, what mega fans are believing is that Megastar Chiranjeevi is going to lose oodles of weight once again, such that his new look is going to sweep everyone off their feet when he lands on the sets of Koratala Siva’s movie.
Since then, there are various gossips about Kerala therapy, special gym workouts and Chiru following a new diet set by his son Ram Charan. But it looks like all those rumours didn’t live up to expectations as Chiranjeevi shattered the glass ceiling by appearing on #BiggBoss3 finale other day.
Apparently Chiru has put on a bit of weight than how he looked in Sye Raa. In case if he is really losing weight for Koratala Siva’s film, that change would be have been seen on the other day. KCR’s deadline: RTC JAC says Don’t fear
RTC JAC convener Ashwathama Reddy has appealed to the RTC employees not to fear the deadline set by the TRS government. On Saturday, CM KCR has called out all the employees to join their duties by November 5th midnight and with Tuesday being the last day, there is a panic among employees.
However, RTC JAC has clarified that the strike will go and there is no need to fear the government’s deadline. “Employees need to stay strong during these tough times as the ultimate victory will be ours. The Telangana High Court’s verdict will be in our favour on November 7th, so nobody should join the duties,” said convener Ashwathama Reddy.
On the other hand, RTC employees are least bothered about CM KCR’s deadline as so far only 26 of them have joined the services across the state. Surprisingly a few of them returned to strike again.
With the deadline just hours away, there is a tension among RTC employees union as they are firm on the demands and want to hold talks with government.

The Upside Down of A Sensational Star
Not many expected this when the film ‘Banam’ has hit cinemas as they thought that Nara Rohith is the new sensation in T-town. Later, he has showered sparkles with couple of his choices which did well at the box office. Where is this sensational star now?
Last September marked a decade of Nara Rohith in the film industry as he completed a good 10 years after Banam that released in 2009. He has featured in almost 20 movies in all these years and barring a few, rest ended up as duds. By the time we’re talking about Rohith now, the likes of Nani, Vijay Devarakonda, Varun Tej and others who have come around the same time or a bit later have soared to new heights.
If we look at where it went wrong for the talented Nara star, surely he has invested in haphazard scripts and never focused on his physical aspects. These two factors have slowed him down and though he has three films in hand that are under post-production, there is not much buzz around those movies as well the hero.
A decade time could really make one a superstar or still a struggling star, depending on the choices they do. But none expected this upside-down of Nara Rohit, and cinema lovers are only hoping that he will rise like a phoenix from the ashes.
Nagarjuna’s Remuneration for Bigg Boss 3!
Buzz has that winner Rahul Sipligunj too home only 50 lakhs cheque, which will have almost 30% deduction in the form of tax, while runner-up Sreemukhi will be taking a cool 1 crore as her remuneration for being there for 105 days inside the house. That’s fine, but how much did #BiggBoss3 host took home?
Whenever a star hero turns up to host reality shows or any other programs, the big things audiences usually bite ears about is none other than the remuneration part. At a time when the likes of Jr NTR and Nani are not even remotely interested to host Bigg Boss Telugu version, Nagarjuna has taken the onus of hosting the show like a guardian angel. And we hear that he charged a bomb to do it.
Reports are coming that Nagarjuna charged nearly 5 crores to host 30+ episodes of #BiggBoss3 Telugu version. Though he took a week break in the middle as he has flown to Spain to ring in his 60th birthday celebrations, there is no change in the payment figure, they say.
That’s pretty much like charging how Nagarjuna usually takes up for a film when an outsider produces.
The Only Big Target For Mahesh Babu & Bunny!
One of the biggest clashes that Telugu audiences are going to see very soon on the silver screen is nothing but the release of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru on the same date ie., Jan 12, 2020. More than the clash, what will Tollywood look into these two films when it comes to their numbers is this.
After Baahubali 2, we have only Rangasthalam, Khaidi No 150, Saaho and Sye Raa breaching the coveted “100 crores share” mark. Though Mahesh Babu tried to reach it a couple of times, his Maharshi ended up close but failed to close it. Coming to Allu Arjun, his Naa Peru Surya took him nowhere near to it.
These days, almost every film of big stars is finishing a 100+ crores business in Telugu states alone. But the film needs to be promoted huge, and then it should get a tremendous positive buzz from the box office on the day of release to accumulate big numbers in the ensuing weeks. Can Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo do this feat then?
Though 100 crores are not the benchmark in case if these films are sold for a lesser price, surely fans will be looking forward to seeing if the two stars could breach it. Because that gives a kick to

Other day, former heroine Charmme, who is now heading Puri Jagan’s production house and also co-producing films with him, has a tough situation from netizens. This happened after she shared a picture of her on her social media page.
Apparently Charmme shared a picture that has her doing the reverse back-bend in a gym. Looking at her chubby avatar (and with the fact that there are no acting offers in her hand), many think that Charmme actually gave up workouts long back. But by looking at this back-bend picture, many got stunned and shocked too.
A section of fans, however, refused to believe that the girl wearing sexy tight shorts in the picture is Charmme herself. As those comments reached the ears of the hot lady, she has today posted another picture where she managed to showcase her face in the very same pose.

Rumour: Punarnavi Refuses to Go on A Date
Like it happened during the previous two seasons, as to how Siva Balaji hosted a special party after coming out of Bigg Boss house, and as to how Samrat hosted a bash for his friends after Season 2, even Varun Sandesh did the same at his house. Well, a rumour is coming up that Punarnavi has refused to go on a date with Rahul Sipligunj when her good friend Varun Sandesh and Vithika advised her to do so. Though Punarnavi clarified about the same on the TV itself, as she stated inside Bigg Boss house that she got a boyfriend already, many thought that she’s bluffing to avoid unnecessary love story on TV.
