Reel Buzz: Pooja Hegde In Pawan Kalyan’s Pink?

Pawan Kalyan is all set to face the film cameras shortly. He has agreed to be a part of Pink remake produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju. Of course, Pawan will be doing this film on his terms and conditions.
If the buzz is to be believed, producer Boney Kapoor is in talks with Pooja Hegde for playing the female lead played by Taapsee Pannu in the original.
Shraddha Srinadh of Jersey fame played this part in Tamil version of Pink. Although Pooja is busy with many films at the moment, she is looking for meaningful roles that would give her scope to exhibit acting skills.
After playing a brief but effective role in Gaddalakonda Ganesh, the dusky beauty is looking for something challenging.
Pink is the film that has made Taapsee’s career in Bollywood. It is like any actress’s dream role. Pink in Telugu is going to be big as the buzz has it that Trivikram is penning the dialogue for it.
The filming will begin in January and the film will be ready for release by May/June depending on the availability of Pawan’s dates.

Actress abuses 4-year-old kid for calling her ‘aunty’
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker is facing severe backlash on social media for referring to a four-year-old child actor as “chu**ya” and “Kameena” on the chat show “Son Of Abish”.
A video spreading like wildfire on social media shows Swara using the swear words for a child actor with whom she worked with in an advertisement shoot during her early days in the film industry.
Apparently, Swara got angery because the child had addressed her as aunty.
In the video clip, the actress is seen speaking about disappointed she was with the shoot, adding that the kid calling her “aunty” only made her angrier.
According to Swara, she did not say the word “chu**ya” on the child actor’s face, but uttered it in her thoughts. She added that children were basically “evil”.
Twitterati started slamming the actress no sooner that the video went viral, and the hashtag #Swara_aunty has been trending on the micro-blogging website since Tuesday morning.
According to ibtimes, an NGO — Legal Rights Protection Forum — has reportedly filed a complaint to National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, and demanded action against Swara.

Naidu responsible for omission of Amaravati!
Who is responsible for the omission of Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh in the revised map of India prepared by Survey of India?
Well, the TDP leaders might be blaming it on YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy saying he had indicated to the Centre about his plans to change the capital from Amaravati to some other place; hence, Amaravati’s name is missing.
But Naidu’s close friend till recently Sujana Chowdary has spilled the beans about the actual reason for Amaravati’s omission in the Indian map. He said it was Naidu who was responsible for the same.
“Naidu has failed to issue a gazette notification declaring Amaravati as the capital city. And without official notification, the Centre cannot include the same in its official records,” Sujana said.
Interestingly, Andhra Pradesh minister for municipal administration Botsa Satyanarana, too blamed Chandrababu Naidu for Andhra Pradesh being depicted without a capital city in the map published by Survey of India.
Botsa said Naidu had not issued any gazette notification during his five-year term which was wasted on unproductive things. Interestingly, he also accused Sujana Chowdary, who was then in the Union cabinet, for not bringing up the issue of the capital of the state during his tenure.
“How can such people blame the present chief minister on the issue?” he asked.
Ramana Deekshitulu back in Tirumala!
At last, former chief priest of Lord Venkateshwara temple of Tirumala V Ramana Deekshitulu has got the reward for his patient waiting and of course, intense lobbying.
The YSR Congress party government headed by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to appoint Deekshitulu as the “agama advisor” of the Tirumala TirupDevasthanams (TTD). An order to this effect might be issued shortly, sources said.
Ramana Deeskhitulu, along with his two sons, is most likely to make an entry into the Tirumala temple in a day or two soon after getting the appointment orders. He will continue to be the advisor for his life time, sources said.
Ramana Deekshitulu was forced to retire by the previous Telugu Desam Party government on attainment of superannuation, along with three others, in 2018 after he made sensational allegations against the then chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on missing jewellery. Subsequently, he made serious charges against the TDP.
After Jagan came to power in May this year, Ramana Deekshitulu met him and requested him to restore his post in the Tirumala temple.
The chief minister then assured that he would revoke the order on implementing rule of superannuation in temples, as priesthood is a hereditary post.
Though Jagan government recently issued an order restoring the hereditary priesthood in temples and removal of upper age limit for priests for retirement, the order was not made applicable to the TTD which has its own set of rules.
A disappointed Deekshitulu made an appeal to Jagan to implement the orders for TTD as well, so that it would benefit hundreds of priests including him.
Though Jagan government has issued no such orders, it has now rehabilitated Deekshitulu in an honourary post that would satisfy him.
Fact Check: Every Death Is Linked To Sand Crisis!
No doubt there is a sand crisis in Andhra Pradesh at present, a fact which was acknowledged even by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
But the opposition parties, particularly the Telugu Desam Party and Jana Sena Party, are trying to take maximum political mileage out of this crisis by attributing every suicide that happens in the state to sand issue.
For example, one person Ramesh committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Bhartipudi village of Bapatla mandal in Guntur district on Monday night.
Even before the police reached there, the local TDP leaders started making a hue and cry saying he is a construction labourer and he had committed suicide due to lack of work because of sand crisis.
However, enquiries revealed that Ramesh was actually an agriculture labourer and has been habituated to boozing. The police said he was also involved in a few criminal cases and had faced jail in the past.
“He was never involved in any construction work,” the police said.
Similarly, one person Veerababu died after falling from a three-storied building in Kakinada.
Though the police investigation revealed that it was an accident, the local TDP leaders sought to project it as a suicide and said Veerababu had resorted to extreme step due to lack of work because of sand crisis.
YSRC MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy who called on the family alleged that the TDP leaders had tried to lure the family to claim that they were construction workers so that they would get compensation from the government and that they would also pay money.
What is worse, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu’s son and MLC Nara Lokesh came all the way from Vijayawada and tried to politicize the issue.
At some other place when a person went to a hospital with cardiac ailment, the TDP claimed that he was also a construction worker.
