Pati Patni Aur Woh: Romantic Trailer!

Bollywood hero Karthik Aryan is the name for youthful romantic comedies. ‘Pyar Ka Punchnama’ ‘Lukka Chuppi’ are some of the films, Karthik Aryan nailed it with his innocent looks and terrific comedy. Now he is attempting a typical family entertainer and that too a remake of a classic film called ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ (1978).

The trailer of the 2019 ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ is out and Karthik Aryan shows he can pull of this genre with some balanced performance.

Playing the role of an ordinary government employee, Karthik is happily married to a stereotype woman played by Bhumi Pednekar. But then life always doesn’t go smooth and enters Ananya Pandey as Thapasya.

Karthik falls in love with the young lady and how he manages his wife and crush forms the plot. There are quite a few adult and double meaning dialogues that provide laugh and we can expect the more in the feature film.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ has Aparshakti Khurrana in supporting role.

The film is releasing on December 6th which means it will clash with the big ticket ‘Panipat.

Why Chiru & Ramya Fared Better Than Nagarjuna?

The moment #BiggBoss3 Finale got over, the very big discussion that happened everywhere is about how Megastar Chiranjeevi has mesmerised everyone with his silver-tongued words about each contestant and the way he teased lady participants by reacting to their lines.

Akin to the way Ramya Krishna’s two-episode hosting received, even Chiranjeevi scored a tremendous response. However, the big question anyone should think about is, it is not how Chiru & Ramya excelled, but Nagarjuna failed to do so. The answer is simple, these two have to be on the show just for an episode or two, and they will get all the dialogues well crafted. But that is not the case with Nagarjuna.

As Nagarjuna has to host nearly 30+ episode, seriously it would be tough to come up with these best of elements every time. Also with people already taking sides with each contestant, surely Nagarjuna will not be able to impress all of the audiences. When NTR hosted Bigg Boss, none knows about it. Later with Nani at the helm, people started taking sides and a few hated him for not supporting Kaushal. Coming to Nag, even people had a strategy to play the game so naturally, Nagarjuna’s antics will not be as impressive as any to them.

Amidst that, occasional presence of Chiru or Ramya will be definitely getting special attention. But that doesn’t mean they have truly outshined Nagarjuna or could be the perfect hosts for the next season, say observers.

Telangana: Woman Tahasildhar set on fire, Killed

In a gruesome incident, a Tahasildhar was brutally killed by setting her on fire with petrol. This incident is reported in Abdullapurmet of Rangareddy district.

Going into detail, the victim who is identified as Vijaya Reddy is working as Tahasildhar in MRO office and she is involved in a land dispute with a farmer by name Suresh. Regarding the same issue, Vijaya Reddy is claimed to have joined hands with Sureshâ€™s rivals and is said to be delaying the registration of land.

Fumed by this, Suresh came to MRO office on Monday during the lunch hour. He seems have argued with Vijaya Reddy and after that poured petrol on her and set fire. Crying and shouting loud, Vijaya Reddy came of her room rolling on the floor. Her driver and attender tried to save her but their efforts went in vain as Vijay Reddy died on the spot.

Later Suresh set himself on fire but was rescued yet he suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to a government hospital. This horrific incident brought a panic in Abdullapurmet and the police have stepped in to take control of the law & order.

Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy visited the MRO office and called it an unfortunate incident. She ordered for a complete probe.

AP Chief Secretary LV transferred

Andhra Pradesh government chief secretary LV Subrahmanyam has been transferred and posted as Director General of AP Human Resources Development Institute, Baptla.

Principal Secretary of the government, Praveen Prakash has issued the transfer orders of LV and the CS was asked to immediately get relieved from his services. In place of LV, Narab Kumar Prasad has been appointed as the in-charge chief secretary.

Behind this transferred there occurred an incident which irked AP CM YS Jagan. As per the media reports, Principal Secretary Praveen Prakash has issued show-cause notices to LV on Sunday and was asked to reply within 15 days. Right a day after the show-cause notice, LV is transferred and it stunned many in the government circles.

What happened earlier:

Andhra Pradesh has witnessed yet another unprecedented incident in the political history. First of its kind in India, the principal secretary of a Chief Minister has been issued show cause notice. And the notice is issued by none other than the Chief Secretary (CS) of Andhra Pradesh. CS LV Subramanyam has issued show cause notice to CM Jagan’s principal secretary and GAD (General Administration) principal secretary Praveen Prakash.

This is after Praveen reportedly violated the powers of his position and over-stepped into the powers of Chief Secretary. Without procuring approvals from Governor and Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary Praveen Prakash has issued orders amending Business Rules.

GAD principal secy has issued orders even to Special CS-level officials. This has sent wrong signals in bureaucrat circles. Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam is said to be happy over the development as he felt that this is violation of Business Rules.

Since Praveen Prakash works with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, many in secretariat had thought it wouldn’t be easy to take action on him. Even before CS came to terms with the amendment of Business Rules, GAD principla secy Praveen has reportedly issued yet another GO indicating that he has powers to transfer Assistant Secretaries as well. This has further upset the CS LV Subramanyam.

Meanwhile, it is also rumoured that Principal Secretary hasn’t followed norms during sending files to cabinet meeting. These have irked Chief Secretary. With this, CS served Show Cause notice to Praveen Prakash for ‘different’ mistake.

Praveen is allegedly passing files without routing through Chief Secretary. He also reportedly not following usual process laid down for sending files to cabinet meetings. Finally, CS has cracked the whip against principal secretary Praveen.

This is expected to create a conflict within chief administration in AP Secretariat. CM Jagan has specially got Praveen Prakash from New Delhi to Amaravati who was earlier serving as the Resident Commissioner at AP Bhavan in Delhi.

More details are awaited. Praveen Prakash is yet to respond to the show cause notice sent to him.

Chopped Role Has Disappointed Anasuya?

Despite the fact that anchor Anasuya put her best foot forward to promote Meeku Maatrama Chepta, audiences who have seen her inside the movie, have got shocked. This is because she is seen only hardly in 2-3 scenes inside the film, in an impact-less role that is neither glamorous nor thrilling.

While all the critics gave an earful to Anasuya already to not do such minuscule roles in the near future, the fact is that the anchor is said to have got shocked with the final cut of the movie. The whole of the second half actually runs on one single suspense element and in the end, it is revealed that Anasuya is the cause of it. To make that interesting, she’s said to have starred in more than 10 scenes, but they were all mercilessly chopped at the editing table.

The backstory of Anasuya’s character, the hospital issue she speaks about, her personal life issue and others are just narrated to audience through words, but actually they’re said to have shot them. But after watching the movie with the team at AMB Cinemas other day (Nov 1st), the actress got pretty upset that she got limited to a couple of scenes, says a source.

Perhaps that is the reason why she’s not doing any post-release promotions for the film.

Then Hari Teja, Now Sreemukhi

As the much awaited Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 title too went to male contestant Rahul, it has poured cold water on the hopes of fans of women contestants. Right from season 1 to season 3, women contestants have shown considerable talent. Staying away from families and their husbands and kids is not a small thing. Compared to men who could relatively easy for them to stay away from house, women contestants have shown their courage and talent. Yet none of them have bagged the title so far.

It was Hari Teja who had won hearts with the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu where she excelled with her talent and skills like Burrakatha. She entertained audience with her prowess. Many had thought Hari Teja would clinch the title, but she had lost to Siva Balaji. And in the second season, talented Geetha Madhuri has made her mark. Yet she was unlucky as well. Kaushal’s popularity had outshined every other contestant in season 2 making him victorious.

But in season 3, there was a clear chance for Sreemukhi. Sreemukhi army/fans have gone all out in campaign. Sreemukhi ads also surfaced in theatres asking to vote in her favour. However, nothing has helped her as she ended up as a runner-up. Sreemukhi losing the title has dampened the hopes of her fans as well as Bigg Boss lovers who are hoping to see a woman contestant lift the trophy. Let’s hope that Bigg Boss season 4 would go into hands of a lady contestant.

Panipat FL: Queen Kriti and Deadly Sanjay

Known for huge canvas films, director Ashutosh Gowariker’s upcoming movie ‘Panipat’ is based on third battle of Panipat. This film has Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles and the trailer is scheduled for launch tomorrow.

This is a period drama and is inspired by true events. The characters too are based on the real lives. Ahead of the trailer launch, the makers have unveiled the looks of Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt.

Kriti is playing the role of Parvati Bai, who was the wife of Sadashivrao Bhau. “A True Queen Needs No Crown,” wrote Kriti sharing her look on her social media handles.

Coming to Sanjay Dutt’s role, he will be seen as founder of the Durrani empire, Ahmad Shah Abdali. His look is menacing and dropping his look, Sanjay wrote, “Death strikes where his shadow falls.”

So the countdown for the trailer of the biggest extravagant film of the year has begun. ‘Panipat’ will be striking the box office on December 6th.

#IndianMap: Kanna Blames Naidu For ‘No Capital’ State

AP capital row is not going to die anytime soon. The issue began with the missing capital of AP in the latest political map of India released by Union Home Ministry. While AP people are fuming over the present state government and the union government over this major goof-up, Kanna Lakshminarayana’s tweet has rubbed salt on the wounds of people. Kanna has tried to turn the issue political by blaming previous Chandrababu Naidu government. Kanna lamented that Chandrababu had ‘wasted’ Centre’s funds to AP for capital and blamed Naidu to the core for this sad situation of AP ‘not having’ a capital.

However, what Kanna didn’t expect is the severe backlash from netizens. Twitterati have a befitting counter to Kanna over his tweet. Blasting Kanna, people tweeted that it is PM Narendra Modi who “backstabbed” the people of AP by not according Special Category Status to AP and not giving “due funds” to state to build new capital. The people have also reminded Kanna that it was Modi who had inaugurated the capital Amaravati works by participating in Bhumi Pooja.

Netizens delved deeper and blasted Kanna that he was in Congress when state was unilaterally divided without a capital city and later he jumped into BJP for his political gain. People of Guntur went onto comment that he was a blot for Guntur for not fighting for Amaravati capital.

Angry netizens mobbed Kanna with hatred tweets and lashed out at him by trying to divert the issue and make it political. Looks like, Kanna has had taste of his own medicine.

Confused Venky Mama finally picked a release date

Many thought that producer Suresh Babu is actually waiting for the right date to make sure that ‘Venky Mama’ will reap huge benefits from the box office. Though the likes of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru have fixed Jan 12th as their date, all these days the producer has eyed Sankranthi date for the Venky and Chay starrer too. But plans changed now.

Reports are now coming that the film will not be targetting Sankranthi season but will release in advance only. We hear that December 25th is locked as the mega date for Venky Mama to hit cinemas. With Balayya’s Ruler, Raviteja’s Disco Raja and Saidharam’s Prathiroju Pandage eyeing Dec 20th, surely 25th is an ideal date without much competition for Venky Mama. The only other film in the race on that said date is Raj Tarun’s Iddari Lokam Okkate.

In fact, Suresh Babu wanted Sankranthi date badly because the film’s production cost is said to have escalated big time and he is eyeing close to 50 crores ‘share’ from the box office. For that to happen, he needs a huge festival season. But how far the Christmas holiday will help Venky Mama do a big feat is something we have to see.

Featuring Venkatesh, Chaitanya, Payal Rajput and Raashi Khanna in the leads, Venky Mama is directed by KS Ravindra of Jai Lava Kusa and Sardar Gabbar Singh fame.

Big Relief For Hyd Techies: Biodiversity Flyover opens

Hi-Tech city is a business hub of Hyderabad and the workforce here is in lakhs. However, reaching and getting out of this place is a hell. Even though the roads are wider, thousands of vehicles are adding up every month and the poor quality roads make it one hell of a ride.

To address this issue, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has come up with Strategic Road Development Program (SRDP). As part of it, new flyovers are being constructed wherever the traffic is huge. At Biodiversity junction, the traffic is usually high, especially commuters coming from Mehdipatnam and going towards Mindspace and Gachibowli.

Under SRDP, two flyovers are being constructed at Biodiversity junction i.e, one for commuters towards Gachibowli and the other for commuters towards Mindspace. The flyover that leads to Hi-Tech city is opened on Monday and IT minister KTR did the honours.

This flyover is constructed with a budget of Rs 69.47 crore and is 990 metres long. It’s a three lane unidirectional flyover which is 11.50 metres wider and the approach length is 255 metres.

Minister KTR tweeted that under SRDP, the state government and GHMC is trying to improve the infrastructure in the city and there are more projects under construction and in pipeline.

‘Pawan Ki Deadline Iche Scene Ledu’

Pawan Kalyan’s Long March for Sand Crisis might have been a big success with Opposing TDP supporting it. But YCP has taken Pawan so light and it is underestimating Pawan’s mass following. The latest is YCP’s Ambati Rambabu has come down heavily on Pawan called him the adopted son of Chandrababu Naidu.

Ambati said Pawan does not have a ‘scene’ (strength) to issue deadline to government which has 151 MLAs. He noted that Pawan had lost in both seats and he said it is clear that people have rejected Pawan. Ambati said Pawan is not in a capacity to issue deadline to a state government.

Talking about Sand Crisis in the state Ambati said the issue will be resolved as soon as the floods get stopped. Ambati said there were no construction workers in Pawan’s march. He said all he could see were his party workers who are struggling to make their leader notable.

Ambati didn’t leave TDP either. He said Pawan would make films and Chandrababu would look after Heritage. Ambati said TDP and Janasena has same DNA and origin. He said the people have outrightly rejected both the parties.

Top 12 ‘Fake’ Collections by KRK: Saaho Gets Place

Controversial critic KRK has released a list of films which had released ‘inflated’ figures in 2019 so far. According to KRK, Saaho is one among them and the makers of Saaho had announced inflated figures by 13 percent.

KRK listed out both ‘Fake’ Collections against ‘Real’ Collections. As per his list, Saaho’s ‘Fake’ Collection is reported as 143 Crore whereas the ‘Real’ Collection is reported as 126 Crore. KRK noted that the makers of Saaho claimed Rs 13 Crore more than it originally collected.

As KRK is known for targeting and bashing films he don’t like and he is known for staying in headlines for his controversies, no one takes him seriously. But by openly releasing list of top 12 films that had ‘fake’ collections, KRK is back in news.

KRK’s list also featured Naveen Polishetty-starrer Chhichhore which claimed to had inflated figures by 22 percent. The list says the original collection of Chhichhore is Rs 125.50 Crore (slightly less than Saaho’s original collection as per his list) but he said the cliamed ‘fake’ collection of Chhichhore is Rs 152 Crore.

The list featured Krish and Kangana’s Manikarnika, Ranveer’s Gully Boy, Taapsee & Amitabh’s Badla, Akshay Kumar’s Kesari, Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De, Salman Khan’s Bharat, Akshay’s Mission Mangal and Hrithik Roshan’s War.

Bigg Boss Runner-up Sree Mukhi to Get Rs 1 crore?

She looked quite dejected when Nagarjuna announced singer Rahul Sipligunj as the winner of Bigg Boss 3. She didn’t hide her disappointment.

While Rahul walked away with the cash price of Rs 50 lakhs, Sree Mukhi was named as the runner-up of the show. The runner-up doesn’t receive any cash prize.

Being one of the most popular anchors in the television world, Sree Mukhi entered into the house of Bigg Boss with the hopes to win the title.

There were rumours doing rounds in the social media that the Bigg Boss team also made such a promise o her.

For, she was given undue advantage in the show on many occasions. She was the drama queen of the show.

Avid followers of the show made comments that she survived till the end with the support from the Bigg Boss team and host Nagarjuna.

But Rahul Sipligunj won the title as he received huge votes from the viewers.

Then what will she get from the show? Well, she is the highest-paid contestant. She will receive a remuneration of nearly Rs one crore for staying in the house for 100 days.

Each contestant will get a remuneration calculating the number of days they were present in the house.

Along with Varun Sandesh, Sree Mukhi will get the cheque for the highest pay. Sree Mukhi will definitely get anywhere in the range of one crore rupees, say insiders.

Baba and Varun Missed The Bigg Offer, But Won Hearts

The winner of this Bigg Boss season was confirmed at least six weeks before the finale. Even the housemates are aware of Rahul’s craze outside that almost everyone except for Srimukhi lost hope of winning it.

Srimukhi also realized that Rahul is going to win it when she came to see the response that he got from the ex-housemates during the reunion.

Despite knowing that they are not going to take away the Rs. 50 lakh prize money, actor Varun Sandesh and Baba Bhaskar declined attractive offers from Bigg Boss during elimination process.

Bigg Boss offered Rs. 10 lakh for the fourth place and later hiked it to Rs. 20 lakh, but neither Varun nor Baba fell for it. Varun said that he cannot letdown his fans and supporters that voted for him by taking the offer.

Baba got another tempting offer to be eliminated as the top 3 contestant. He was offered Rs. 25 lakh and he declined it for the same reason.

Being a practical middle-class person, Baba did show some eagerness when he got the tempting offers, but he declined them on the word of his wife and children.

It was a failure on the show’s directors part for letting the housemates know about the voting trends outside. They have made a blunder by being biased towards Srimukhi that turned the tide in favor of winner Rahul.

Second season became one-sided contest because of the mistakes done by star contestants like Tejaswi, Tanish and Babu Gogineni. But Season 3 turning out one-sided contest was largely aided by the unfair practices of the show’s directors.

Legendary Director Helping Telugu Science Fiction Film

The science-fiction genre is a rare concept for the Telugu audience, as not too many directors have explored this idea.

Now, Legendary Director K Raghavendra has decided to support a young Team, that is coming up with a sci-fi entertainer ‘Bombhaat’.

‘Ee Nagaraniki Yemaindhi’ fame Sai Sushanth and Simran are the lead pair and Chandini will be seen in an important role.

Vishwas is bankrolling the film and Raghavendra Varma is the director. Recently, Puri Jagannath launched the first look poster of ‘Bombhaat’.

Speaking about the film, Director Varma said, “We have completed the talkie part of our film and our producer will announce the release date very soon. We would like to thank my guru Raghavendra Rao Garu for not only Presenting our project, but also for guiding us throughout the film”.
