Will Prabhas Fulfill Parasuram’s Dream?

Share

Geetha Govindam fame Parasuram has been waiting from long time to get approval from a top hero.

He tried his luck with Allu Arjun, but it didn’t work out. Later he met Mahesh Babu, but things didn’t pan out as planned.

Parasuram was back to square one and has been considering options like Akhil. But he has got a glimmer of hope when he got a call from UV Creations.

Prabhas is hunting for good scripts after the debacle of Saaho. He has good relations with all the top directors, but is also listening to scripts from young filmmakers.

Can Parasuram fulfill his dream of working with a superstar? Will he get the approval of Prabhas?

CBN is cultureless, Lokesh is brainless

Minister for Marketing, Mopidevi Venkata Ramana, made scathing attack on TDP supremo and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh.

The Minister took strong exceptions to the criticism of the TDP chief. He said Naidu was making personal attack on the YSR Congress MLAs, bringing down his political experience.

Mopidevi said that Naidu had lost mental balance after his lost power in the 2019 general elections.

The humiliating defeat in the elections is creating restlessness in Chandrababu Naidu, while the series of welfare initiatives of Jaganmohan Reddy government is causing him frustration, the Minister said.

Mopidevi, a close associate of Jaganmohan Reddy, took serious exception to the TDP chief’s criticism on the ruling party MLAs and the government every day.

“There is no subject in his criticism against the government. He is only indulging in cheap politics and making personal attack on the ruling party MLAs, thus lowering his own image,” the Minister said.

“Chandrababu Naidu is making lose talk, as if he is cultureless. Perhaps that is the reason why Lokesh is behaving like brainless,” Mopidevi said and sought to advise the TDP chief to maintain some quality in criticizing the government.

“Naidu’s criticism and his language should reflect his 40 years of public life and 15 years as Chief Minister. Unfortunately, that political experience and maturity is missing in him now,” the Minister said at a press conference in Velagapudi.

AP to act tough on private colleges

Share

The State government is getting ready to act on the private junior colleges in the State, in an attempt to regularize their activities.

The government had opened a WhatsApp number (9391282578) and separate email (ourbieap@gmail.com) for the people to lodge complaints against the private colleges.

The State government also issued a serious warning to these colleges to display the college name, along with the State government’s permission code and the courses permitted.

If the college boards fail to contain these details, the government would impose severe penalty on these corporate and other private colleges.

Minister for education, Adimulapu Suresh, told media persons on Monday that the government would constitute Intermediate Board at the earliest.

The Board was not constituted in the State after 2913 and the previous government had completely surrendered to the corporate colleges.

He further said that the government would also regulate the fee structure in the private colleges and asked the students or parents to use the email or whatsaap to inform against any private college which violates the rules.

The officials of the education department would start raids on the private colleges and impose penalty if they were found violating the norms.

He insisted on the private colleges having proper playground and fire safety measures.

Sye Raa: No Loss No Gain for Dil Raju

Extended Dussera holidays in Telangana also have come to an end. With this, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Sye Raa” is closing its final business here. The film has already become an all-time third highest grosser in the Nizam region after ‘Baahubali’ movies. The film has collected a share of Rs 31.5 Cr so far. It will not add much to its kitty except in some lakhs.

However, Dil Raju who distributed is not going to see any big profits here. He bought the movie’s rights for Rs 30 crore. Adding expenses, the barely touched the break-even stage. It is like no loss or no gain scene for Dil Raju despite it is becoming all-time third highest grosser in Telangana.

Considering other areas, “Sye Raa” has performed better in the Nizam region. Many areas in the Andhra region tend to lose some money as the distributors paid a huge price to bag the rights. In Andhra, Uttarandhra is the only region that fetched big profits.

Who Among This Four Could Become The Bigg Boss?

Share

Bigg Boss season 3 has been a very disappointing fare so far. This season couldn’t excite or engage viewers like the past season, which was a social media sensation.

Bigg Boss Telugu 2 used to trend on social media after every episode. Supporters of a few contestants and fans of the show used to take to Twitter and Facebook to opine their views and also used to pick fights with opposite fan groups.

This season is a damp squib compared to the entertaining first season and the exciting second season.

Organisers being biased towards star contestants like Srimukhi and sending in eliminated contestants without taking public vote has made it look like a show that is being aired to satisfy self egos.

Nagarjuna failed as a host as he totally followed the script and depended upon talkback all the time. There is neither spontaneity nor enthusiasm in his hosting.

He failed to make an emotional connect with the contestants and also targeted soft contestants like Baba for no reason. The show has reached the penultimate stages and it is just a week away from the finale.

Rahul, Baba, Srimukhi and Varun are in the race to win the title while Shiva Jyothi and Ali will take fifth and sixth spots according to voting trends. Rahul has an edge compared to others, but Baba and Srimukhi also got good support.

Varun on the other hand messed up his chances a bit in past couple of weeks, but still could pick up in Vithika’s absence.

Naresh to Be Sacked as President?

Share

Movie Artistes Association is splitting. On Sunday, the general body of the association has virtually split into two factions.

Rajasekhar, executive vice president of MAA is getting full support from all the actors as the majority of the members are fed up with president Naresh.

Actor VK Naresh made tall promises before the elections but in the last six months, he has not done any visible work for the betterment of the association or the welfare of the members.

Insiders say Rajasekhar’s group is proposing to sack Naresh from the post of president.

Bylaws of the association allow this but they need to get the permission of all members and the general body. Naresh is opposing to hold general body meeting.

Naresh is one of the busiest character actors in Tollywood and he is hardly allotting his time to the activities of MAA. His attitude is also posing problems.

50 Days On And Prabhas Hasn’t Changed

Share

If one has to go by the biggest criticism “Saaho” movie ever faced, it is neither about the creativity of the director, nor the inferior quality visual effects that appeared visual hurdles at times. The criticism is about Prabhas, who has gained pan-Indian craze for his hunk looks in Rajamouli’s films.

The major complaint that came from all quarters is about Prabhas’ looks in the film as he appeared bloated in some parts, super hunky with a six-pack in certain parts. Though one can push the blame on various factors, the majority of the issue lies in the hero only when it comes to maintaining a consistent physique that could impress all.

Later, it came out that Prabhas will be shedding oodles of weight before starting to shoot his upcoming film under the direction of Radha Krishna Kumar. But even after 50 days of Saaho’s release, Prabhas appeared in the same physique as he made his presence felt at airports, Royal Albert Hall in London and other places.

These days, maintaining chiselled physique is the key for star heroes to impress their fans constantly and continuously, hope Prabhas is not missing that logic out.
