Mythri Movies Working Hard To Set This Combo With PK

Popular production Mythri Movie Makers have dabbled for a while with short budgeted movies and with small heroes, but now they are going back to big-budgeted films again. One of their ambitious projects is to make a film with Pawan Kalyan, regarding which they have already given advance to the Powerstar.

After trying the likes of Santosh Srinivas and Dolly, to impressive Pawan with a script, we hear that Mythri team is working hard to make the combo of “Gabbar Singh” work again. Though Harish Shankar is already ready with some stories, they want something that Pawan Kalyan will not say a no to star in.

As Harish wants to meet PK and narrate him the story, Mythri team is also meeting Pawan’s aides to set an appointment for the same. Though Pawan is ready to team up with Harish again, the only rider he has in place is that he wants a message-oriented script but not any commercial masala.

In the wake of Harish Shankar getting applause for his style of adapting Jigarthand into Telugu as Valmiki aka Gaddalakonda Ganesh, maybe Pawan will respond positively to his story now. Let’s see if Mythri Movie Makers will get their dream realised or not.

Venky taking risk! Better go for VFX

The horse riding sequences in Magadheera and later in Baahubali are making our senior heroes don similar roles, and a chance to ride a horse at least once. For his latest movie that will be directed by Tarun Bhaskar which has horse racing as the backdrop, senior hero Venkatesh is said to be practising horse riding now.

However, insiders stated that Venkatesh is taking a risk with his health as his knee injury might reoccur if he continues doing these stunts on horses. Though there are only couple of horse riding sequences, provided with the fact that Venky got injured during Venky Mama shooting which led to acute knee pain, his well-wishers are advising him to avoid such stunts. But Sye Raa and Satakarni effect is so huge that Venky wants to do the riding.

Instead, they are asking him to go for VFX, like how Kangana Ranaut has ridden horses in the war sequences of Manikarnika, where the person will be made to sit on a prototype of a horse which simulates a riding effect, but actually attached to a trolley that will be pulled by a cable attached car.

Arjun Reddy hottie turns Gujju girl

Shalini Pandey who swooned youth with her hotness quotient in Arjun Reddy is all set for her big Bollywood debut. As broke out by us, Shalini is going to romance Bollywood hearthrob Ranveer Singh and she is going to be launched by prestigious Yash Raj Films. Interesting development is that Shalini Pandey is turning into a Gujju for this film where she plays a conventional Gujarati girl whereas Ranveer Singh plays title role Jayeshbhai – a Gujarati businessman.

However, inside news is that Shalini’s selection for the role is not easy. Apparently, Shalini had given screen tests and taken part in audition tests before getting finalized for the female lead opposite Ranveer. The makers wanted a fresh face and hence they have done screentests and finally opted for Shalini. Producer Aditya Chopra was said to be impressed with Shalini’s screentests and audition tests. Pleased with her prowess and her screen presence, Aditya Chopra has instantly decided to launch Shalini in Bollywood. This is a Golden chance for Shalini to make a mark in Hindi. Currently, she is doing reasonably well in Telugu and Tamil films.

Presently, Shalini is playing a Turkish Indian girl in Jwala, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual and a significant role in Anushka Shetty and Madhavan-starrer multilingual film Nishabdam. Let’s see whether Shalini will turn heads in Bollywood as well or not.

No talks with RTC unions: What’s KCR up to?

Even as the indefinite strike by the employees and workers of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) entered 13th day on Thursday, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao appears to have turned more and more adamant.

Despite the directions from the state high court, KCR ruled out holding any talks with the RTC employees’ unions.

He made it clear to the officials after five-hour long meeting with officials that went on till late hours on Wednesday.

“There is no question of taking back the sacked employees and we shall go ahead with our plan to recruit fresh staff and hire more buses. We shall put forth our argument strongly before the high court,” KCR reportedly told the officials.

The chief minister also rejected the direction of the state high court to appoint a full-fledged managing director to the RTC to deal with the striking employees.

“There is no hurry. It is our administrative decision and the court have no role to play in it,” he said.

One wonders what the Telangana Rashtra Samithi president is up to, as his party leaders are apprehensive that his adamant attitude would cause serious repercussions on the party.

“A wrong message has already gone into the people that the TRS government is not sympathetic to the demands of the RTC employees. Most of their demands pertaining to saving the organisation. Instead of calling the employees to talks, KCR is taking it as a prestigious issue,” a TRS leader said.

YS Jagan Offers RS Seat to Chiranjeevi?

Vijayawada: Grapevine has it that Megastar Chiranjeevi will be sent to Rajya Sabha once again.

As per the speculations in the corridors of power, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has offered him a Rajya Sabha seat if the star is interested to go to the parliament again. They met two days ago in Vijayawada.

The official statement is that politics were not discussed. It was purely a courtesy call. Plus, Chiranjeevi requested CM Jagan to watch his “Sye Raa”.

Now, behind the scenes are being talked about. During their chat, Jagan is said to have asked Chiranjeevi whether he’s interested in serving as Rajya Sabha MP again on their quota. It is not known what Chiranjeevi’s reply was.

Chiranjeevi was Union Minister in PM Manmohan Singh’s cabinet from 2012 to 2014. His term as Rajya Sabha MP ended last year and Congress party didn’t nominate him again.

He has been staying away from active politics since the release of “Khaidi No 150” and is on a signing spree.

In a recent media interaction, Chiranjeevi categorically mentioned that he has no interest in politics. He also said he repented of joining politics.

Only time will tell whether truth lies in these speculations or not.

When the BCCI boss Sourav Ganguly got angry

There’s no doubt the cricketing world will keenly follow every move of the new BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, considering his reputation as a successful leader who’s now in-charge of the most powerful cricket board on the planet.

The other day, our friend from South Africa, journalist Lungani Zama, shared a Ganguly anecdote on Twitter.

Zama, who’s in India covering the South African cricket team’s tour to the country, wrote that back in 2003 when Ganguly was leading India in the ICC Cricket World Cup in South Africa, Zama was an attendant of the dressing room the Indians were occupying.

He wrote that Ganguly was extremely angry to find that the security guard had used his bat as a door stopper and pulled up Zama for that.

A couple of hours later, Ganguly went on to score a hundred using the same bat.

“Formidable temper, but heck of a temperament,” Zama tweeted.

KCR Under Pressure To Step Down For Son?

Ever since the employees and workers of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation workers went on strike, an uneasy atmosphere is prevailing in the riling Telangana Rashtra Samithi.Though nobody is coming out openly, there is a hush talk going on within the party circles that TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had gone a bit too far in dealing with the strike and it ultimately brought a bad name to the party.

Particularly, KCR’s decision to sack 48,000 RTC employees en masse has not gone down well with the party leaders, who are not able to face the people.Now with the high court directing the government to hold talks with the striking employees, KCR had no option but to scale down.

Many MLAs and even some ministers are said to be unhappy with KCR’s adamant style of functioning.
His own son K T Rama Rao, who has not uttered a word on the strike till now, is also said to be very unhappy with his father’s way of dealing with the RTC strike.According to reports doing in some digital media, KTR is learnt to be bringing pressure on KCR to step down and hand over the reins to him.

In fact, the TRS working president was peeved with the statement of his father that he would continue to be the chief minister for the next two terms.So, taking advantage of the RTC strike and growing anti-establish climate in the state, a message is being spread across the party leaders that time is up for KCR and he should hand over the baton to his son.

Reports said if the TRS wins the by-elections in Huzurnagar, KCR might survive and continue in the hot seat for some more days. If the TRS loses the seat, then there would be pressure on KCR to hand over the reins to KTR.

For now, it looks a farfetched thinking, but who knows, anything is possible in politics!

Hyderabad Losing Its Real Estate Charm!

It looks like Hyderabad is losing its charm these days, particularly in terms of the real estate.

The much-talked-about and the much-hyped-about the city is heading to be no more a darling of the settlers, if one goes by the real estate trends these days.

Despite the ruling TRS, its successor-in waiting, KCR talking big about this city, people are not favoring this place, particularly after the second victory of the TRS.

While the economic slowdown is said to be one of the reasons for this fall, it also appears that the cash rich Andhra people too are not showing interest in this city.

There were news that investors from Andhra were heading to Hyderabad, after TDP’s defeat in the elections.

The new government’s reverse tendering and the complete halt of the Amaravati works, too have contributed to the people to talk about investment migration to Hyderabad.

But, the statistics available with the stamps and registration office, show a downward trend in the real estate sector around Hyderabad.

The sale and purchase of properties in the suburbs of Hyderabad have come down alarmingly over the last four months.

There were 3,337 transactions in May in the Hyderabad South registrar office, which have come down to 3,092 in June. However, in July and August, there was a small increase in the transactions with the registrar office recording 3,764 in July and 4,103 in August.

But, that hike was temporary as there was vertical fall to just 2,614 registrations in September.

In the neighboring Ranga Reddy district, there was slow fall in the registrations from 31,903 registrations in July to 29652 in August and 27,492 in September.

This steep fall is also noticed in Medchal, Yadadri, Bhuvanagiri, Sangareddy, Nalgonda, Mahaboobnagar and Medak districts, which are adjacent to Hyderabad.
