‘India did not save nuclear weapon for Diwali,’ Modi

Share

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a rally in Barmer said that India was no longer threatened and frightened by the nuclear war given by Pakistan. He also added that India did not save its nukes for Diwali.

The rally has ex-servicemen present in huge numbers and Modi confirmed that India has stopped getting scared by Pakistan’s threats. “The newspapers and media claim that Pakistan has nuclear weapons and what do we have then? Are we saving our nukes for Diwali or what?” he said sarcastically.

Though PM did not directly raise the point of Balakots strikes, he added that Pakistan’s stubborn ego has been shattered by us and his government has crushed their confidence. “I forced Pakistan to roam around the world with a begging bowl and we have squashed their arrogance,” he said.

He also slammed Congress for saying how terrorism and nationalism are not the real problems. He asked people – how can they not call them issues when our Indians are being sent back to the country, wrapped in tricolour. “Congress claimed that I should not talk about courage. Then, why am I here, to do Bhajan?”

He ended the speech with a one-line -“Just remember that when you cast your vote, you are not only exercising your duty as an alert citizen, but also as an alert soldier”

Undavalli’s Predictions On AP Polls

Share

Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar who predicted YSRCP victory and wanted YS Jagan as the next CM, has now changed tunes. He is estimating that TDP could surprise everyone with a good majority and then Undavalli analyzed the factors that pushed people to prefer Telugu Desam.

As per Undavalli, the initiative ‘Pasupu-Kunkuma’ played a key role and with AP CM Chandrababu Naidu giving a promise that his government would credit the full amount of Rs 10,000/- in the next term, has not only led women but also their family members to vote for TDP. Then the ex-Rajahmundry MP said, there is an improvement in YS Jagan compared to 2014.

In the last five years, Jagan matured as a politician. “He climbed the ladder but did not go down. Moreover last time, TDP had the support of BJP and Pawan Kalyan. But this time, it is not the similar situation. So in all likely Jagan has the upper hand over Chandrababu.”

Somehow Undavalli is convinced that ‘Pasupu-Kunkuma’ changed the mind of voters and May 23rd will be the date to know how it influenced people.

Pawan Predicts The Seats Janasena Will Win

Share

Other day, though every politician is spending their leisure time well, with Chandrababu resting in Hyderabad, Jagan at Lotus Pond and others going on holiday, many thought even Pawan Kalyan will also fly abroad.

While his vacation plans are kept under the wraps, other day Janasena president is said to have held a meeting with his trusted aides at Hyderabad party office. Reportedly Pawan is said to be quite confident that the party will win a good number of seats in the recently concluded election whose result will be revealed on May 23rd. The Janasenani is said to have predicted nearly 15 seats for the ‘tea tumbler’ and even named the constituencies that they might win likely.

A good number of seats in Godavari districts and North Andhra including Vizag are on the mind of Pawan, while he’s said to have named a couple of MLA seats in Rayalaseema region, especially Kurnool. Though some of his party members pointed out at the surveys conducted by few top level companies and media houses, which predicted 1 or 0 seats for Janasena, Pawan asked them to ignore such stuff.

‘My constituency election expenditure is Rs 50 cr’

Share

Anantpur MP JC Diwakar Reddy is an open minded politician and doesn’t hesitate to talk on any issue. This time, JC has targeted the public. Oh yes, you read it right, JC criticised people for becoming too commercial especially during the elections.

“When I contested for the first time for MLA position, the election expenditure was Rs 7 Lakh. The second time was Rs 25 Lakh and after three decades, the expenses are in crore of Rupees. Not just politicians, intellectuals and public should also blamed for this. People who couldn’t afford food for one time in a day are demanding Rs 2000 to Rs 5000 per vote these days. Such is the plight and in my constituency, Rs 50 crore was spent during the elections,” said JC.

The Anantapur MP then felt sorry for AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who despite introducing 120 welfare schemes, had to beg for votes but nobody recognised his work. “He launched many welfare schemes, inter-linked rivers to give water to the public. None appreciated them. But ‘Pasupu-Kunkuma’ and pensions to senior citizen had played a major role,” added JC.

About the election cost going up, JC said very soon he would hold a meeting with politicians, intellectuals and others to talk about this. This menace has to end as this is not a good trend in politics, concluded JC and left from Chandrababu’s residence in Erravelli.

Teja’s ‘Sita’ has completely been pushed to next month. The film featuring Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Kajal Aggarwal was to release this weekend. It will now release on May 24.

The film has failed to create buzz due to its uninteresting teaser. Even the so-called item song by Payal Rajput has not helped it much.

Given this low buzz, the team has decided to release it next month so that they can promote it aggressively.

Producer has given the movie’s theatrical rights to Abhishek Aggarwal but it has no takers in Andhra and Nizam markets.

Bellamkonda Srinivas’s films are not working in movie theaters though he is bringing good openings.
