Ex-central minister quits TDP, to join YSRC

Nobody knows better than Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in using and throwing leaders.

When Naidu feels any leader is not of any use to the party, irrespective of his seniority and popularity, he will not hesitate to dump them and discard them without showing any sympathy.

That is why more and more senior leaders are deserting the TDP and looking towards YSR Congress party.

The latest example is former Union minister of state for steel Sai Pratap. The six time MP from Rajampet in Kadapa has found himself in a miserable position after joining the Telugu Desam Party three years ago.

Despite being a popular leader in the constituency, Naidu did not even consider his name for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

What is worse, Sai Pratap was not given any position or post in the party and Naidu ddid not bother to respect his seniority. All these years, he had been treated as an ordinary party worker.

Having no other way, Sai Pratap announced his resignation from the TDP on Saturday.

“I get tears when I think about my position in the TDP all these years. There had been no respect for me and my seniority. Naidu called me to Amaravati and took me into party, but humiliated me by not giving me any responsibility,” Sai Pratap said.

He is most likely to join the YSR Congress party. Since he was one of the close confidants of late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, he might feel comfortable in joining the party of YSR’s son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

Meanwhile, another MLA – Mani Gandhi from Kodumuru assembly constituency, also quit the TDP on Saturday and returned to his parent party YSR Congress party.

Gandhi was one of the 23 YSRC MLAs who had defected to the TDP in the past. He was denied the TDP ticket this election.

‘Prabhas’ New Look Is Breaking The Internet

Young Rebel Star Prabhas is currently busy with two interesting projects. When one of them is ‘Saaho’ being directed by Sujeeth, the other is ‘Jaan’ under the direction of Radha Krishna.

‘Saaho’ is a multicore action thriller whereas ‘Jaan’ is going to be a romantic entertainer. As both thr films belong to two different genres, Prabhas is going to sport two different looks in the film. As per the latest reports, the shooting of an intense action episode is in pending. If the buzz is to be believed, the choreographer Kenny Bates has ordered Prabhas to lose 8 to 10 kgs weight. On this note, Prabhas has been working hard for atleast 2 hours in the gym and has lost so much of weight.

Nithin took a much needed break after the disastrous result of ‘Srinivasa Kalyana’. And now, He is back to share two sweet news for the movie lovers. Nithin teamed up with ‘Chalo’ fame Venky Kudumula to romance Rashmika Mandanna in ‘Bheeshma’. Though it’s not a total new update, The official announcement has arrived only now.

A surprise came in the form of Nithin kickstarting Production No.6 under his home banner. This Young Hero shares a good rapport with Director Krishna Chaitanya of ‘Rowdy Fellow’ and ‘Chal Mohan Ranga’. These Two decided to come together again upon locking a promising script. Nithin went a step ahead and took the call to produce the film on his Shresht Movies banner.

The most exciting part is that it’s going to be a Pan-India Film. For the first time ever, A film-starring Nithin will be releasing in there languages. Krishna Chaitanya worked on this unique script for an year to make it a memorable film. ‘Power Peta’ is the title fixed for this movie. It’s like using half of the ‘Power Star’ tag though its not intentionally done.

Nithin declared ‘Power Peta’ is the most ambitious and challenging film of his career. He informed that shoot begins from year end and the release will be in Summer 2020.

NTR Biopic Flopped…SHE Didn’t!

Vidya Balan essayed the role of Nandamuri Basavatarakam in both ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ and ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’. The entire biopic was narrated from Basavatarakam angle. Initially, Makers thought of releasing NTR Biopic in other Indian language making use of Vidya Balan’s pan-India appeal. They, however, dropped the idea after receiving a shocking result in the Telugu circuits.

NTR Biopic might have failed miserably, but Vidya Balan didn’t…she received critical acclaim for her performance in the emotional scenes. Once again, Vidya showed her acting calibre with this movie.

Post her marriage, Vidya Balan was mostly approached for women-centric films which don’t have a huge reach. She expressed her willingness to do any kind of roles through NTR Biopic. That is why Filmmakers have been considering the name of Vidya Balan for the biopics of Jayalalithaa and Mamata Banerjee. Devarakonda Not To Explore Digital Space

Web Series is an interesting medium to portray the talent of filmmakers. A lot of young filmmakers are making use of this platform and even mainstream actors are also testing their luck with the same. Already the actors like Madhavan, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshay Kumar forayed into the projects being streamed on digital platforms. A lot of Telugu actors also ventured into the digital medium but Vijay Devarakonda is showing no interest.

Yesterday, Vijay Devarakonda participated in an event at Mumbai where he was asked about his entry into the digital space. Vijay Devarakonda has straight away replied everyone that he is not going to venture into digital space. Vijay said that he does not want the audiences to catch him on the small screen. But, he added that he might venture into the production in the digital space.

Right now, Vijay is working on two interesting projects. The first one is Dear Comrade and the second one is an untitled project in the direction of Kranthi Madhav.

Sukumar is the successful director in the film industry. Usually, a director who delivered a hit is always on demand and Sukumar has also experienced the same when he delivered a hit after Rangasthalam that released today a year ago. Mahesh Babu immediately locked Sukumar for his next project but unfortunately, the project is called off now due to creative differences.

It was completely Sukumar’s mistake to let the project go off from his hands. Mahesh immediately okayed a project for Anil Ravipudi. Allu Arjun accepted to work with Sukumar but the film’s script is not ready yet. Allu Arjun will be working in a film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas now and will immediately start working on Venu Sriram’s film.

Sukumar needs six months time for finishing the script which means that he can only start his film next year and will release by the end of 2020. It is completely evident that Sukumar is not going to treat the audiences this year and he has to keep his fans waiting for almost two years for coming up with a new movie.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi, which had conquered the state assembly elections held in December, has started feeling that it has the patent rights over Telangana and no other party has any right to seek votes from the people in the state.

But in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections are posing a different scenario in the state politics. Despite the strong position which the TRS is in, the Congress and even Bharatiya Janata Party are said to be giving a tough fight in some constituencies and there is no surprise, if both the parties would be able to win a couple of seats.

For example, the Congress is said to be having fair chances of winning Bhongir and Chevella constituencies while giving a tough fight to the TRS in Nalgonda, Mahabubabad and even Malkajgiri constituencies.

On the other hand, the BJP is also fancying the chances of winning Secunderabad and Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha seats. That is precisely, why both Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have chosen to address public rallies in these constituencies to attract voters.

This has obviously made the TRS anxious and angry. TRS working president K T Rama Rao is making every effort to play down the chances of two national parties by making sharp comments against them.

On Saturday, KTR took to twitter to take pot shots at Modi saying the Prime Minister was simply wasting his precious time.

“Dear @narendramodi Ji, instead of wasting your precious time criticising TRS in Mahbubnagar (where BJP had lost deposit 3 months ago), people of Mahbubnagar would have been happier to hear you announce national project status for their lifeline Palamur Lift Irrigation Project.“

KTR was reacting sharply to Modi’s comment on twitter: “Sought support for BJP at the rally in Mahbubnagar. The haste with which the Telangana Assembly was dissolved is inversely proportional to the speed with which the state got Ministers to work. For TRS, dynasty and astrology come before working for citizens.”

She also quoted that she has worked in the industry for several years now. Calling herself an extremely committed actor, Aish said that the role she played in the past demanded the enormous commitment and she absolutely did the justice. A question on direction made the actress react by saying, ”I do want to direct a movie someday. The work is in talks but never really set time and energy to work on it. Now, I should be seriously thinking about it. My colleagues have always teased me on not turning into a producer or director and make a film of my own. So, in the near future, I should be able to live up to it.”

After BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha’s decision on quitting the current party and joining the Congress has been made, his daughter and actress Sonakshi Sinha has now come in support of her father. She said that her father should have taken the decision of quitting the party a long time ago because he was not getting the respect he deserved.

In spite of Shatrughan Sinha is a two-time MP from Patna Sahib, he was denied BJP ticket from the constituency and instead, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has been fielded from Patna Sahib. Therefore, Shatrughan met Congress president Rahul Gandhi and declared his plans of joining the Congress.

In fact, Shatrughan Sinha has made a few remarks on Modi last month and generated speculations on his stay in the party. In March, he called the whole Balakot airstrikes as tamasha and asked to end it. He demanded for more details on the attack and the number of terrorists killed.

Also, a tweet in Urdu by Sinha suggested that he is not willing to work under PM Modi’s led BJP. He even slammed BJP president Amit Shah when the announcement on his Gandhinagar nomination has been made. He argued that senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani should have been considered instead of Amit Shah.
