Vijay Deverakonda is the ‘HERO’ of south
Happening hero Vijay Deverakonda already has his hands full and now he has signed one more film.Announcing the details of it, leading production house, Mythri Movie Makers said it is happy to associate with Vijay for the second time.
The film is titled ‘HERO’ and will be made in all the south Indian languages. Anand Annamalai, who penned the dialogues for the critically acclaimed Tamil super-hit ‘Kaaka Muttai’ will be directing Vijay’s ‘HERO.’
The regular shooting of the film will kick-start from April 22nd in New Delhi and Vijay will be seen in the role of a professional biker in it.
Before the start of shoot, the makers will go for the launch and on this very day, rest of the details will be announced.
Currently Vijay is shooting for ‘Dear Comrade’ which is in final stages of the shoot.

With TDP lodging complaint with the election commission of India against the release of “Lakshmi’s NTR”, doubts are raising over the movie’s screening in theaters. Will this film make it to the theaters as the election code is in place?
Latest buzz is that Ram Gopal Varma is planning to hold special premiere show for media persons and movie industry celebrities in big way a week advance before the planned release date (March 22nd).
This way he wants to send a message that he is very serious about the movie’s theatrical release and he would not budge to the mounting pressure.
Ram Gopal Varma in his video interview to GreatAndhra.com made it clear that he would even release the movie in Youtube if hurdles are created for theatrical release.
Varma is still confident that he would get clearance from Election Commission.

Jagan however wants Mudragada to contest for Kakinada Parliament seat.
T Subbirami Reddy wants the Vizag MP seat. As of now, MVV Satyanarayana is said to be in the fray.
Then there is TDP MP TG Venkatesh who is livid with Chandrababu for refusing an Assembly ticket to his son Bharath.
Venkatesh is willing to join the YSRCP provided his son Bharath is also accommodated for the Kurnool Assembly.
Magunta Srinivasula Reddy of Ongole is more or less confirmed for the Lok Sabha but it is Magunta who is said to be wavering.
Apparently, Jagan is also not averse to the idea of Subbirami Reddy contesting from Vizag but the latter is also yet to make up his mind.
According to sources, a final decision on these four candidates will be taken on Wednesday and Jagan will go public with the entire list of candidates on Thursday or Friday.
Celebs charged in ‘largest college admissions scam’ in US
Washington/Los Angeles: US federal prosecutors have charged nearly 50 people, including celebrities in a scam where the wealthy paid to have their children admitted to elite schools.
US Attorney for the District of Massachusetts Andrew Lelling told a press conference in Boston on Tuesday that the case was “largest college admissions scam ever prosecuted,” saying those charged collaborated to send students to top tier US universities with bribe, Xinhua news agency reported.
The scam, which started in 2011, saw a total of USD 25 million paid as bribe. Lelling said among those charged are three scam organisers, 33 parents, nine coaches, two SAT and ACT administrators, one exam proctor and one college administrator.
Those charged included Hollywood actresses, wealthy business people and a lawyer, a list of those charged provided by Lelling’s office showed.
A company named the Edge College and Career Network acted as a conduit for parents to bribe to test administrators or school sports coaches, who would assist their children in gaining undeserved admission to prestigious universities, including Yale, Georgetown, Stanford, the University of Texas and University of Southern California (USC) and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
According to the 204-page document, actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman are among 33 parents who bribed college coaches and standardised test-takers with millions of dollars in order to get their children into elite universities.
The documents posted by the US Attorney’s Office District of Massachusetts said that the conspiracy was carried out by three means, including facilitating cheating on ACT and SAT exam in exchange for bribes, designating applicants from students without demonstrated athletic abilities and laundry money through the third party channels.
The ACT and SAT are both standardised tests used for college admissions in the US.
USC released a statement on Tuesday, saying the university “has not been accused of any wrongdoing and will continue to cooperate fully with the government’s investigation.”
“We understand that the government believes that illegal activity was carried out by individuals who went to great lengths to conceal their actions from the university. USC is conducting an internal investigation and will take employment actions as appropriate.”
“USC is in the process of identifying any funds received by the university in connection with this alleged scheme. Additionally, the university is reviewing its admissions processes broadly to ensure that such actions do not occur going forward,” the statement read.
“The government has repeatedly informed us that it views USC as a victim and that these employees purposefully deceived USC,” it emphasised.
The other universities involved in the case have also posted similar statements, saying that they were victims of the scam and were cooperating with the investigation.
Jana Sena in friendly contest with TDP?
Even as there are speculations over some senior leaders making an attempt to bring about a patch-up between the YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and Jana Sena Party led by actor Pawan Kalyan in order to avoid splitting of anti-establishment vote, there are also reports in some sections over a secret understanding between Jana Sena and Telugu Desam Party.
According to these reports, Jana Sena and TDP will contest the elections independently, but in many constituencies, they will have friendly contests.
Since Jana Sena Party is facing shortage of good candidates, those who cannot be accommodated in the TDP due to high competition will contest as Jana Sena candidates.
It is learnt, in the constituencies where YSR Congress party is strong, Jana Sena will field stronger candidates, so that they could split anti-establishment votes. And in the TDP strongholds, Pawan will field ordinary candidates.
Similarly, in a few constituencies where Pawan has strength and TDP is weak, Naidu will field weak candidates as part of friendly contests to ensure that Jagan does not win the seats.
In both the instances, the election expenditure of the Jana Sena candidates would be borne by the TDP itself. And in the post-poll scenario, Pawan would extend support to the TDP!
It is a different matter that Jana Sena leaders are denying such reports, describing them as baseless.
“Pawan is fielding serious candidates in all the constituencies. You are going to witness the same in a few days,” a journalist who is closely associated with Jana Sena activities said.

Revanth’s Talks Fail; Sabitha to Join TRS
On Tuesday morning there were reports that Congress working president Revanth Reddy has held talks with Maheshwaram MLA Sabitha Indra Reddy and so she changed her mind. But by evening the equations have changed in favour of TRS.
Sabitha has reportedly decided to join TRS and most probably it might be tomorrow. Along with Sabitha her long Karthik Reddy will also join TRS and he is likely to get Chevella MP ticket. TRS since long is looking for a strong candidate to counter Konda Vishweshwar Reddy who defected the party before the assembly elections.
As per the sources, Telangana Congress has failed to negotiate with Sabitha and moreover she is also upset with the state leadership especially with TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy. Adding to this, there are less chances of her son, Karthik Reddy getting Chevella MP ticket and with no other options before her, Sabitha eventually took the decision to quit Congress.
This is a huge blow for Congress just before Parliament elections.
Venky And Rana, Finally Finds A Joint Venture
Senior hero Venkatesh has no qualms to team up with young actors for multi-starrer movies. Say it Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan or Varun Tej, he has done a fabulous job. And now he has teamed up with nephew Chaitanya for “Venky Mama” movie.
But from a time, actually, Venky is looking forward to team up with his brother’s son Rana Daggubati. And the two have done some ads and guest appearances together, but not a full movie. Of late we are hearing that a subject got locked for the two to come up on the screen.
Long back, director Veeru Potla of Bindaas fame has narrated a script to Venky, where he was supposed to team up with Raviteja. And that project didn’t materialize due to various factors, but the latest is that Raviteja will be replaced by Rana and the project will be produced by Suresh Babu and Anil Sunkara of 14 Reels together.
Though there is no official confirmation over this, reports are coming that very soon the announcement might come up.
