Anushka to give her nod to work with her favorite hero?
Anushka Shetty who tasted a huge success with ‘Bhaagamathie’ is keeping a low profile once again. The actress rested high hopes on her next project under Gautam Menon direction. But, as Gautam Menon is getting bashings from all quarters for not releasing any movie properly or completing the shooting within the stipulated time.
There were reports that Anushka’s new project will be helmed by Kabir Lal who is a famous cinematographer. The movie is going to be a Spanish remake of ‘Julia’s Eyes’. But, we never got any official update in that regard. In this case, the latest buzz is Anushka might pair with her favorite hero Suriya once again.
Director Hari who is busy with ‘Saamy Square’ has recently opened in an interview that he will direct his next movie with Suriya in the lead role. Now, reports claim that the director has approached Anushka to team up with him and has narrated the one-liner. Buzz is that it is not ‘Singam 4’ and it will be a fresh script.
Hansika accepts B-Grade roles
Hansika Motwani is a popular south actress, known for her appearances predominantly in Telugu and Tamil films. She had started her career as a child artist in TV shows, and also starred as Hrithik Roshan’s friend in Koi Mil Gaya.
She ventured into films as a heroine with Allu Arjun starrer Desamuduru which made her a hot and happening heroine following which she starred with top actors like Jr NTR and many young heroes. The actress is currently having a bad phase of her career.
In this case, the actress who worked with A-listers has now agreed to work with B-Grade heroes and actors who aren’t even three movies old. She has stooped her levels down as she runs dry of offers. The actress recently signed a female-centric project under a debut director in Tamil.
Shraddha Kapoor moves at a brisk pace for Prabhas
The magnum opus sci-fi flick Saaho, starring the macho Baahubali hero Prabhas and directed by Sujeeth of Run Raja run fame, had shot their first schedule, an extensive one at UAE and Dubai where the team had filmed heavy duty action sequences, destroying more than 30 cars.
Currently, team Saaho us shooting a very important next schedule at Ramoji film city, Hyderabad, and the team has erected a huge set for the shooting. Sujeeth has been reported to be doing a good job of matching the expectations of delivering a neat entertainer post the humongous Baahubali. Shraddha is shooting her portions at a brisk pace to complete the proceedings.
It has been rumored that Saaho aims an April 2019 release, clashing with Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer MB 25 by Vamshi Paidipally. Saaho also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Arun Vijay and has Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead.
‘Attarintiki Daredi’ is a Pointless Remake !?!
After several failures, in 2013 Powerstar Pawan Kalyan had made a striking return to form with the family entertainer Attarintiki Daaredhi, directed by Maatala Mantrikudu Trivikram Srinivas, which was the industry hit then, surpassing Magadheera.
The movie had undergone a huge trouble, as it was leaked days ahead of the release, and the movie, also starring Samantha, Pranitha, Nadhiya, Rao Ramesh and Boman Irani had received unanimously positive reviews and went on to become the biggest blockbuster of Pawan.
Now, 5 years after release, Tamil big production house Lyca Productions have announced that they have acquired the Tamil remake rights of Attarintiki Daaredhi and that further announcements will be made soon. It must be noted that Tamil movies like Minsara Kanna and Unnai Thedi had similar plots, and it is to be seen if this outdated remake will work.
Now, Bellamkonda Wants RX100 Heroine
All it takes to attain overnight stardom in Tollywood is one blockbuster success. The same has happened with the talented and bold actress Paayal Rajput. Paayal has played a key role in the grand success of RX 100, her made in film in Tollywood.
Paayal became the talk of the industry after RX100 and she was flooded with several exciting offers from established banners and filmmakers. We have exclusively learnt that Paayal has signed her second film opposite young hero Bellamkonda Sai.
Paayal will be playing the second fiddle in Bellamkonda Sai’s ongoing movie under Teja’s direction. The film has Kajal Aggarwal essaying the female lead’s role. Noted producer Anil Sunkara is bankrolling this project. One can expect Paayal to grab more lucrative offers if this film also turns out to be a huge success.
It’s Official: Rana Joins NTR Biopic
Finally, putting an end to months long speculations, Rana Daggubati took to Twitter to announce that he is part of NTR, the keenly awaited biopic on legendary actor cum former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh NT Rama Rao. Although the makers have not officially announced the details, it has been rumoured that Rana will be essaying NTR’s son-in-law and the present Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s role. It will be interesting to see how the macho actor will portray one of the most dynamic chief ministers of this country.
NTR’s makers have been pulling off some terrific casting coups which are intensifying the positive buzz surrounding the film. While Vidya Balan plays NTR’s wife Basavatarakam’s role, Sachin Khedkar will be essaying Nadendla Bhaskara Rao’s role. The film releases for Sankranthi next year.
Trade Talk: Saakshyam Bites The Dust
Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’ high-budgeted film Saakshyam bit the dust at the ticket-window.Despite decent openings and collections till Sunday, the film’s collections dropped drastically on Monday making it an extremely difficult proposition for buyers to recover their investment.
Sumanth Ashwin-Niharika Konidela’s film Happy Wedding also proved to be a massive disappointment and the tag of mega girl has not helped the film in any way at all.In July, RX 100 has been the only money spinner at the BO beating the likes of bigger-budgeted Vijetha, Pantham, Lover and Sakshyam.
Srinivasa Kalyanam, Geeta Govindam and Sailaja Reddy Alludu are hitting the silver screen in August and these films are expected to bring back the sheen to the trade circles.
Pawan to have pact with Left parties?
It is now more or less certain that Jana Sena Party headed by power star Pawan Kalyan will have a pre-poll alliance with the Left parties – CPI and CPI (M) in the 2019 elections.A decision to this effect is learnt to have been taken at a meeting of Pawan Kalyan with the CPI and CPI (M) leaders including K Ramakrishna and P Madhu and others in Hyderabad on Thursday. A formal announcement is likely to be made shortly, party sources said.
It is learnt Jana Sena and the Left parties would have a convention in Vijayawada, where they will announce a formation of Jana Sena-Left front. They will work out a common agenda which comprises fight for special category status and other issues concerning the people of Andhra Pradesh.For the last few days, Jana Sena and Left parties have been saying that they would work together to put up a united fight on the common issues confronting the people. Now, Jana Sena took an official decision.
This is a sort of win-win situation for Pawan and Left parties. The Left parties have a massive cadre base, which will be of great help to Jana Sena as the latter does not have any organisational structure.On the other hand, the charisma of Pawan Kalyan can fetch a few seats for the Left parties which virtually have lost their presence in the assembly.
Above all, by joining hands with the Left parties, Pawan can counter the allegations of the TDP that he was dancing to the tunes of the Bharatiya Jana Party!
Guess, Who Stopped Naidu Becoming PM?
With elections to the Andhra Pradesh assembly fast approaching, political parties have started indulging in attacks against one another using social media as a platform.
And not just parties, even the fans and followers of political party heads – be it Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu or YSR Congress party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy or Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan have been running down their opponents, digging out the old comments of their leaders or political goofs-up or unpopular decisions or even their previous statements which are contradictory to their present stands.
For example, an old statement made by Naidu explaining how he had got an offer to become the Prime Minister of the country in 1996 and 1997 and how he had turned it down for the sake of the state is now doing rounds in some Facebook groups. And this statement has brought out an interesting claim made Naidu.
Who prevented Naidu from becoming the Prime Minister?
Well, according to Naidu, several regional party heads had proposed his name for the PM post when the United Front replaced the Congress party after 1996 Lok Sabha elections.“I would have considered the offer, but my son Lokesh gave me the right advice. He told me that the PM post was not permanent, whereas if continued as the chief minister, I could do a lot for the people of the state. If people blessed me, I could continue as the chief minister for a long time,” Naidu recalled then.
So, it was Lokesh who had brainwashed his father and stopped him from becoming the PM and the chance had gone to H D Deve Gowda first and I K Gujral later.Now, the netizens are questioning how Lokesh had analysed the situation with so much maturity at such a young age.Lokesh was born in 1983 and so, he must have been just 13 years old in 1996. How can a 13-year old boy give such a crucial advice to Naidu on PM post and how Naidu had accepted it? Didn’t he have his own wisdom?
Well, you cannot do anything except listening to Naidu’s crazy statements!
