Even as there is a year for general elections, the war of words between ruling TRS and Opposition Congress has intensified.TPCC president Uttam too made severe allegations against KCR and family. Uttam has alleged KCR family of involving in corruption and “looting” Telangana state. KCR family that they surpassed Reliance Company Chief Mukesh Ambani and also another big businessman Adani and family in the country.

Uttam said Congress has moved the court to expose the rampant corruption in the finalization of contract works to the agencies. Uttam questioned KCR for not inviting global tenders for the multi-crore project works. “The allotment of works to single agency is raising many doubts. KCR, KTR, Harish and Kavitha were competing with Ambani and Adani in earning money.”

The TPCC President lambasted KCR and his family that they are looting Telangana. “KCR is trying hard to retain power in Telangana aiming to turn Telangana people as slaves in the future,” concluded Uttam.

Responding to Uttam Kumar Reddy’s comment that he won’t shave his beard till he brings down KCR’s government, KTR has given a sharp counter saying that Uttam would only end up as a Sanyasi /Saint if takes such resolutions. He said there is no use for the Telangana people if he grows his beard or shaves it. KTR further said, “All you watch films right? All people who grow up beards can’t be Gabbar Singhs”. These comments of KTR got cheers from the gathering.

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is said to be suspecting the possibility of outbreak of a major law and order problem in the coming days to destabilise his government.According to party sources, Naidu reportedly told some of his close confidants in the party, quoting intelligence sources, that the Bharatiya Janata Party is likely to trigger violence by indirectly raking up controversial issues thereby creating some sort of political uncertainty in the state.

He is learnt to have cited the recent example of Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan threatening to lead a Maharashtra-type of agitation by farmers in Amaravati region that would disturb the tranquillity in the region and also stall the progress of works on the new state capital.Secondly, Naidu has also suspected the possibility of outbreak of violent incidents by Kapu community.

The latest statement by YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy fuelling the unrest among the Kapus is being seen in that context.The Kapu youth might resort to revival of Tuni-type of incidents just before the elections and any serious action against them would severely hurt the prospects of the TDP in the elections.So, the TDP president asked his party men to be alert and cautious on these two issues and not to fall into the trap of Jana Sena or YSRC by making controversial statements.

He also alerted the police and district officials to take all necessary steps to pre-empt the attempts to create a major law and order problem in the state, party sources said.

Though he was in the ICU, his health is slowly improving and his vital signs have displayed good development with better and continuous treatment given by doctors of Kauvery hospital. As per latest press release by Kauvery hospital Karunanidhi’s health had improved over the past 2 days, and if his health continues to improve, he’ll be soon discharged to home.

It was said that it was MK Alagiri’s idea to join Karunanidhi in hospital full time, while Stalin had been always wanting to give home treatment facility to Karunanidhi and had constructed a mini ICU in the home. Interestingly, Kanna has raised the same question earlier posed by Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. Kanna accused Nara Lokesh of involving in corruption with TTD’s ex member Sekhar Reddy.Earlier, Nara Lokesh has openly challenged to all his critics to prove the allegations with proofs. Even Sekhar Reddy has totally denied the allegations. Reddy had described the allegations as trash. Shekhar Reddy said he has no connection with Lokesh and he has never met Lokesh before.

Talking about the CBI raids on him, Shekar Reddy said that the CBI officials didn’t get a single proof against him in the raids. “All the accounts of my company, receipts of the cash prove that there is no wrong doing. I own 500 lorries and 700 proclainers with an earning of over Rs 100 crore every year,” Shekar Reddy had said earlier.

In May this year, the TTD Board served notices to the Chief Priest of the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala AV Ramana Deekshithulu and three other head priests, asking them to step down from their services as the retirement age was set for 65 years. The decision turned controversial.

Opposition party YSRCP has been constantly targeting the TDP government over the ill treatment to the senior priest. Now, YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy went on to announce today that YSRCP’s first agenda after coming to power will be reinstating Ramana Deekshithulu and the three other priests.

“With the God’s blessings, we will be coming to power next year. And the first agenda of the YSRCP will be to convene a TTD board meeting and pass the order to reinstate Ramana Deekshithulu and the other priests,” Bhumana told the media, after meeting Ramana Deekshithulu at the latter’s residence in Tirupati.

Former minister and Kapu strongman Mudragada Padmanabham, who had been strongly attacking the Telugu Desam Party and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu all these days, is now faced with yet another rival YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.All these days, Mudragada had been attacking Naidu for not being sincere in securing reservations for Kapus and trying to divide the Kapu community with sops.

The TDP leaders were accusing him of joining hands with Jagan in blaming Naidu. However, after Jagan made that controversial statement at his Jaggampet public meeting saying he would not like to commit on Kapu quota as it was in the court of the Centre, Mudragada made a scathing attack on the YSRC chief too.Though Jagan sought to put the records straight on his comments, Mudragada realised that Kapus might not believe the YSRC chief anymore.

At the same time, he cannot believe Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan also, as the latter had never come out with any open statement in favour of Kapu quota.So, the best way for Mudragada is be a neutral in the next elections.According to the latest reports doing rounds in political circles, the Kapu Nadu headed by Mudragada will put up an independent fight in East and West Godavari districts as an alternative to YSRC, TDP and Jana Sena, exclusively on the plank of Kapu quota.

By doing so, Mudragada wants to win as many seats as possible to emerge as a force in the next elections and become a king maker in the state.If it is not possible, he would at least split a major chunk of Kapu votes, so as to play spoil sport with the chances of major political players. Telangana Congress party on Wednesday described chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as the most corrupt chief minister in the entire country and in terms of his affluence, his family can be compared to that of Ambanis and Adanis.Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that KCR was trying to hide the truth by engaging in political blame game.”The Congress party never went against the people’s interests while KCR family’s only aim was accumulation of illegal wealth,” he said.

Reacting to the remarks made by Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao on Kaleshwaram Project, the TPCC Chief accused him of acting exactly the same way Joseph Goebbels, the Minister of Propaganda in Hitler’s cabinet, acted in Nazi Germany.”Unlike TRS leaders, we are not habitual of indulging in cheap talk. Harish Rao’s language and tone is of highly inferior nature,” he alleged.”Is it not true that works worth thousands of crores were assigned to selective contractors while sitting at home through a single tender?” he asked while slamming the TRS Government for not calling Global Tenders for such a large project.

He challenged Harish Rao to make the tender documents public. He also said that TRS Govt was lying about availability of Godavari water throughout the year at Tummadi Hatti and it went ahead with the construction against the recommendation made by expert committee.The TPCC Chief said that the visits of various personalities to Kaleshwaram Project site were nothing but tourism trips.He said TRS Govt should also take those visitors to Sircilla where Dalits were subjected to third degree torture in illegal police custody.

Uttam Kumar Reddy also condemned the Chief Minister for his remarks against judiciary.

“Is it wrong for the poor, Dalits and STs, who were wrongfully stripped off their lands, to approach courts seeking justice? Are courts banned institutions?” he asked.Further, he asked whether or not KCR did not approach the court to shift his hunger strike from Khammam to Hyderabad.”Courts should take suo motto action against KCR for his remarks against the judiciary,” he said and added that KCR has some kind of built-in hatred towards Dalits and STs.

Stating that Telangana was not KCR’s ‘Jagir’ (fiefdom), he said that the Congress party would continue to raise issues that hurt the interest of people, especially farmers.”Congress party is always concerned about farmers, while KCR thinks only about benefitting contractors,” he said.
