Comedian Sunil is back on the sets of his friend Trivikram’s film after a long time. After ‘Khaleja’, he has not acted in any of Trivikram’s movies as he was busy shooting for movies as a hero. In the process, he had denied some interesting offers as well.However, he has taken a wise decision of putting a full-stop to lead roles after half a dozen of his movies sank without a trace.

He is back to shooting as a comedian in Trivikram’s ‘Aravindha Sametha’. At present, Sunil’s sequences are being filmed and he plays a big role.

Then how much has he got as payment?

According to our sources, he is being paid lump sum remuneration, not for days. Generally, top comedians charge remuneration for each day.Some comedians take Rs 5 Lakh per day and others Rs 8 to 10 lakh. But Sunil reportedly has been paid in one plus Cr rupees given his star status even though the number of days he works for the movie are far less.

Kajal Aggarwal has already paired up with senior stars like Megastar Chiranjeevi in ‘Khaidi No 150’ but she is now getting good offers opposite younger stars.She is currently acting opposite Bellamkonda Srinivas who is younger than her. There is also talks that she may pair up with another young heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda.

When her career is blooming in such manner, she has landed in an embarrassing situation. A source tells us that director Prasanth Varma who directed Kajal in “Awe” has asked her to do his next film as well.She has readily agreed as the director is a good friend. However, she later realized that she has to pair up with Dr. Rajasekhar in this movie.

If she pairs up with Rajasekhar, her market will come down. Though Rajasekhar delivered a hit with ‘Garudavega’ recently, he is not considered to be on par with a Nagarjuna or Chiru.

So, she is said to be in dilemma whether to reject the offer or accept it for her director friend.

For his landmark 25th film, Superstar Mahesh Babu is pouring all the best of his efforts to make sure that it works bigger and better. After changing his avatar to a beard wearing rugged student, here is another interesting thing.

Apparently, Mahesh will be playing a cricket match during his college days with his rivals in the college and that is going to become the highlight of the film. Being directed by Vamsi Paidipally, currently, they are shooting this sequence at Telangana Police Academy, under the supervision of some action experts too.

Reports have that the sequence will be super stylishly shot and it is going to change the flow of the film to a new level. Already the makers have shot college episodes in Dehradun, while they are shooting the exterior part of the same in Hyderabad and other places.

Bankrolled by Dil Raju, PVP and Ashwini Dutt, this film is going to be shot in India and USA predominantly. Allari Naresh will be seen in a crucial role, while Pooja Hegde is the leading lady of the film.

Makers of the upcoming film Geeta Govindam released a 30 second teaser featuring the yesteryear chartbuster song Yenneno Janmala Bandham, from the 1975 film Puja, shot on Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in black and white.The teaser has received a tremendous response from the public thanks to the song. But apparently, the makers had to go to a lot of trouble to get the right to use the song.Composed by Kannada duo of Rajan-Nagendra, the rights to the songs and film were sold way back and even changed many hands subsequently.

Finally, Geeta Govindam team got permission to use the song for 30-seconds for Rs 1.70 lakh. Thanks to the talent of the filmmakers and composers of that era, their work is fetching rich revenues to those who have bought the rights to those films, even today.

Rana who has been going through kidney related ailment has finally decided to take treatment at a premiere hospital in Singapore, sources revealed us.At one time, his father Suresh Babu spoke to various doctors in the US, but his Hyderabad doctors suggested him to take treatment in Singapore where the best facilities are available for the ailment he has.

On record, Rana has been telling everyone that his ill-health is a minor one. He is also occasionally appearing at various events, but he’s not that active.He has also stopped the regular shoot of his trilingual ‘Haathi Mera Saathi’ till he gets treated properly.

As per our sources, he will be taking full-rest and getting treated later this month. He will also not be signing any Telugu movies this year as he has to honour the commitments in Hindi and Malayalam.He will only take a call on whether to do director Tharun Bhaskar’s next film or not next year.

He has also signed Gunasekhar’s multi-lingual mythological drama ‘Hiranya’ that will go to the sets next summer.
