There were lot of debates and trolling when Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai gave a kiss on her daughter Aaradhya’s lips during the Cannes film festival this year. Planting a kiss on kids lips is a sensitive and controversial topic as there are differences in opinions and analysis of many reputed doctors and psychologists across the world, and this is not a fresh debate started by Aishwarya Rai. But the picture she posted then received a major backlash.
Yet again, the star actress decided to give a kiss to Aaradhya on lips, this time at Disney World and post the picture on her Instagram account. Well, the trolling and backlash is back with the new photo and Aishwarya seems to be in no mood to entertain or react on these comments.
Jabardasth Actor Caught in Smuggling !
‘Jabardasth’ fame Hari, who is known for small and character roles, is said to be in the hit list of Chittoor district police. The accused has been allegedly involved in the illegal smuggling of red sandalwood. Allegedly, the accused started small by developing contacts with small smugglers and subsequently developed contacts with big smugglers in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka.
As per cops, the accused earned crores in very short time with the smuggling of red sandalwood. He said to have cut the red sandalwood in Sesachalam hills through woodcutters and export it to the neighbouring states Tamil Nadu, Karnataka.
What’s more? The accused allegedly have developed contacts with the big smugglers and expanded his business. He even turned film financier and is said to be financing the money to various producers. He recently said to have financed Shakalka Shankar’s Sambo Shankara as well.
Taskforce police officials have lodged 20 cases against Hari. The police personnel also found out that two more actors are involved in the red sandalwood smuggling. As per police officials, the accused also lured many students, unemployed and others into smuggling. A detailed probe is going on. More details are yet to be out.
Vijetha Movie Review
Yet another entry from megastar Chiranjeevi’s family. We have already seen many stars from the clan in Tollywood and the latest addition is his son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev (a name that has been numerogically enhanced, in case you missed the point). Since it is his maiden movie, Vijetha has generated a lot of buzz. Also, the film is from the production house of Sai Korrepati that is known for giving quality movies.
Let’s find out whether Kalyaan Dhev has impressed the audience in his maiden film or not.
Story:
Srinivasa Rao (Murali Sharma) loves his son so much that he even takes a loan to get him a seat in engineering college in the management quota, though he works as a small-time employee in a company. But his son Ram (Kalyaan Dhev) passes with bare minimum marks and doesn’t get a job anywhere.
Ram tries to float his own company that provides surprise gifts for events. Initially, Ram’s plans go kaput, but with the confidence given by Jaitra (Malavika Nair) he succeeds.
Rest of the drama is how he makes his father’s wish come true.
Artistes’ Performances:
Kalyaan Dhev in his debut film passes with decent marks as far as looks are concerned, but as far as acting is concerned, he has miles to go.
Murali Sharma is the backbone of the film. As a caring middle-class father, he is excellent in his role. Murali Sharma brings lot of earnestness in many routine scenes.
Tanikella as Murali Sharma’s friend is good too. Malavika Nair has nothing much to do in the film. Satyam Rajesh’s comedy is okay. The friends gang has done regular job.
Technical Excellence:
The film has lavish production values and good technical values. ‘Baahubali’ fame Senthil Kumar has shot the film with bright visuals and has added some lushness to regular Hyderabad roads.
The artwork is decent. Editing should have been taut. Two songs are catchy. The song on chicken has been played all over FM stations and has grabbed the attention of audiences much before the film’s release, though there is no particular romantic song that can be written about.

Analysis:
By using the title “Vijetha”, Chiranjeevi’s old movie, the director gave subtle hints that it is all about a son making his father proud.
The debut movie of Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law also runs on similar lines – a son making his father proud and helping in his sister’s marriage.
The premise of new “Vijetha” is all about an aimless son realising how his father sacrificed his passion for photography to keep the family running. How the son rewards his father is told by the director in ordered style.
Familiar story, regular scenes, outdated jokes, lack of gripping romantic thread are the curse for this sentimental drama, though emotions have worked in the final portion.
The film begins on a dull note and goes on narrating hero spending late nights with his friend’s gang and falling for the girl next door, his efforts to get job, etc. The songs, the jokes, the scenes all run in predictable manner during the first half.
An incident in protagonist’s life not only changes him, but also makes the movie better. The emotional quotient (though regular) are the better portions of this flick.
However, it all depends on whether you connect to this thread or not because they are time-tested scenes, nothing new.
Murali Sharma with his performance has made many dull scenes better. He is the pillar to this movie which is otherwise drab and routine.
Director Rakesh Sashii has failed in weaving a better romantic thread. Hero trying to impress heroine by doing household chores, or helping her mother… such old romantic sequences that ’70’s directors too shy away from including them these days.
All in all, while the film proves that Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law made a neat debut, the movie doesn’t offer anything new. This is strictly for those who like sentimental dramas.

The Telangana Police have successfully banished self-proclaimed film and social activist Kathi Mahesh and now, Swami Paripoornananda from the city for six months. However, banning a person physically from a place in today’s digital age is not of much use.Mahesh Kathi is still talking nonsense on Facebook live videos and creating a divide between Hindus. Similarly, if there is anything which Swami Paripoornananda said, he can continue to say it from Kakinada.
Therefore it is not the physical presence of a person that is causing the damage; it is his ideology or views on sensitive issues.So, along with physical banishment, the social media accounts of Kathi Mahesh need to be blocked as well for at least a period of one year by which time he would have faded from public memory.Otherwise, people will still be subject to his digital poison. And in a way, it is not Kathi Mahesh alone to be blamed for the current scenario.
The two channels which feed him to the public and encourage controversy for TRPs are equally to be blamed.One is a channel which was banned in Telangana but gave a written apology to the government and got back in business and the other is a purely digital channel said to be backed by media person.Mahesh Kathi is allegedly on the regular payroll of these two channels which is encouraging him to dish out such crap which can have serious consequences for society but the channels are obviously least bothered as all they care about is profits.
By the way, it would be really commendable if the Telangana police take similar action against the likes of Asaduddin Owaisi as well.
Varun Tej’s Space Drama Release Date Locked!
Mega Prince Varun Tej and ‘Ghazi’ fame Sankalp Reddy are working on a space backdrop film which is tentatively titled ‘Anthariksham.’Two schedules of shooting have wrapped up so far and the next is expected to commence shortly.
The producers of this film have locked the release date on December 21st. we also hear that the makers have closed the business of the film in almost all the areas.Being a space drama, the film will have some mind blowing action sequences.
Accordingly in the previous schedule, a Hollywood team of highly experienced stunt composers and technicians have supervised action episode with zero gravity. Also for this film, Varun Tej and Aditi Rao Hydari underwent 3D scan.Lavanya Tripathi is also playing a lead role while Gnana Sekhar is handling the cinematography.
Nothing That TG Venkatesh Can Do Now
TG Venkatesh was stunned by Lokesh’s announcement that Butta Renuka and Mohan Reddy will be fielded again for the Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies from Kurnool.TG Venkatesh questioned the authority of Lokesh to make the announcement and said that such a decision will have to come from the Chief Minister himself.

Hyderabad: Venkatesh-Naga Chaitanya film to be directed by Bobby was launched at Ramanaidu Studios recently.It was a simple ceremony and the media was not invited and neither were photographers.The producers had a unit photographer click a few pics and sent them to the media. But the talk of the event was Daggubati Rana.
Everyone at the event was surprised to see the transformation in Rana. Although he was quite healthy, he had become very lean and pale.Of late, there have been a lot of rumours circulating on social media about Rana’s health and they refuse to die despite Rana and his father Suresh Babu condemning the same.
Suresh Babu also saw to it that there were not many photographs of Rana clicked by the unit photographer.

A couple of months ago there was huge hullabaloo going on in Jubilee Hills are people are called for interviews to join the upcoming JTV. It’s publicised that the channel actually belongs to Janasena party itself.
And then there came a news that Nimmagadda Prasad is buying a stake in 10TV upon the insistence of Chiranjeevi, such that Pawan Kalyan will get huge attention in the news and debate programs. Reports have that the presence of Janasena party’s secretary Thota Chandrasekhar and other Janasena team at the 99TV office as the channel is now taken over by a new group, is clearly indicating that Janasena got a first of its supporter from the media. It’s a known fact that since Pawan Kalyan made a huge outburst on some TV channels through his Twitter page, there is no major coverage about him. Trivikram Using NTR To Help Agnyaathavasi Buyers
After being sold for more than 85+ crores, Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavasi resulted in huge losses as the film struggled to score at the box office. Owing to the flop show on themselves, Pawan, Trivikram and producer Chinababu have returned almost 20+ crores to the distributors anyway.
They say that though Trivikram and Co have returned some money, still there are some minor losses. For that reason, Trivikram wants to do the next round of help to Agnyaathavasi distributors now. Actually “Aravinda Sametha” is the next big project coming from Trivikram and Chinababu’s stable, and they want this film to be given to Pawan’s film distributors only.
While the film is getting lucrative offers from big companies for a total sell out of the theatrical rights, Trivikram is not keen on doing it, a source revealed. The likes of UTV and Reliance once again want to test Telugu waters and they gave an irresistible offer to Aravinda Sametha makers, offering a staggering price for the films rights, such that the producer will get 30+ crore table profits.
Despite such offers coming their way, Trivikram wants to make sure that Agnyaathavasi distributors will be releasing their latest movie and taste some profits. Seems like the director wants to win the confidence of distribution circles rather pocketing profits from corporate giants.
Senior Actor In High Demand
Sanjay Dutt is, as they say, having a moment these days. As if a biopic was not enough, Dutt has now signed up with HarperCollins to write an autobiography.
Wonder which bits will make it into this one. In the meanwhile, buoyed by the success of ‘Sanju’, the producers of Dutt’s next, ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3’, are now reportedly asking distributors to pay up Rs 20 crore instead of the earlier Rs 10 crore that was agreed upon.

Telangana: Special Cell Set Up To Scan TV Media
Hyderabad: To prevent any communal flare up, the state government has decided to monitor all media, both electronic and print, for provocative talk or writing.Chief minister KCR is learnt to have told the top police brass that no communal tensions ought to arise.
Police have now set up a special cell to monitor all television debates. They will scan print media too.According to sources, a television channel has already been given notice for holding, encouraging and provoking a debate on communal lines.
“Stringent action will be taken even to the extent of getting TV channels which hold provocative debates shut,” an official source told media.The special cell will take immediate action. The externment of two persons is an indication of how serious the government is about maintaining peace, an official said.
