Balakrishna Remixes Rajinikanth’s Movie!
The story of Nandamuri Balakirshna’s upcoming movie “Jai Simha” is said to be a rip-off of Rajinikanth’s super hit movie “Muthu”.
Rajinikanth became a favourite with Japanese audiences with the film. The Japanese version released in 1998 and became a great success in Japan.
K S Ravikumar, who directed “Muthu”, is said to have used the same plot for his film with Balakrishna. Except for minor changes, the basic story will be the same, say sources.
However, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s characterization will be different from Rajinikanth’s.
Recently released theatrical trailer of the movie didn’t generate much interest among the general audience as it is too massy. Will the old plot appeal to new-age audiences?
“Jai Simha” features Nandamuri Balakrishna and Nayanathara as the lead pair. It also has Hari Priya and newcomer Natasha Doshi as heroines.
The film is scheduled for release on January 12.
Trailer: Rana Raises Curiosity Over Rajaratham
Rajaratham is the dubbed version of upcoming Kannada film Rajaratha. It is directed by Rangi Taranga fame Anup Bhandari and stars Nirup Bhandari, Avantika Shetty, Arya and Ravi Shankar in the main roles.
Rana Daggubati is the narrator of the film. A bus called Rajaratham plays a pivotal role in the movie and Rana lends his voice for it.
Rana also did the narrator job for the trailer of Rajaratham. Although the setting and characters don’t seem intriguing, Rana with his powerful voice over raises curiosity over Rajaratham.
Arya’s character is the only captivating factor in the trailer besides Rana’s terrific voice over. Final moments of the trailer are very interesting and do leave the viewers intrigued about it.
Rangi Taranga was lauded as one of the finest films in Kannada cinema history. So director Anup Bhandari should have done something exceptional in this one too.
Sye Raa: Chiru Unhappy With Surender Reddy?
Megastar’s prestigious project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy completed its first schedule a few days ago.
They have shot a huge action scene in the schedule and the second schedule will start rolling after a gap. Meanwhile, we are hearing rumors about Chiranjeevi unhappy over the proceedings.
As per grapevine, Chiranjeevi is upset with Surender’s working style and couldn’t get along with him in the first schedule.
Surender is a capable director but doesn’t have the experience of making a project of this scale. Chiranjeevi is not very impressed with how Surender is handling things on the sets of Sye Raa.
If the buzz is to be believed, Chiru is looking to sign up Gunasekhar for direction supervision as he has good rapport with the Chudalani Undi director. Also Gunasekhar has the experience of making Rudramadevi.
Producer Ram Charan has assembled a great team for Sye Raa at the beginning but cinematographer and music director are already replaced now. He may not be looking to replace the director too.
If there is truth to it, Megastar and co. may try their best to sort out the problems rather going for a replacement as it would be a black mark for the project worth hundreds of crores.

Shaurya To Take on Pawan, Balayya?
As of now, only two biggies are in Sankranthi race – Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi and Balakrishna’s Jai Simha. Usually for Pongal, it is quite common to have 3 to 4 releases and yet sustain at the Box Office.
Now, the makers of Naga Shaurya’s Chalo are contemplating to advance their film’s release from February 2nd to January 13th or Jan 14th to cash in on festive craze. Since there won’t be no other releases till Jan 25, Jan 26 (such as Bhaagamathie), team Chalo is thinking that Pongal release would be advantageous for them.
While the release of Raj Tarun’s film is not yet confirmed, the makers of Chalo are toying with the idea of coming up for Sankranthi. We hear that Chalo team is even ready to take on Raj Tarun’s film even if it arrives for Sankranthi. As the film’s shoot is not yet wrapped up, Raj Tarun’s film is still doubtful. Notwithstanding that, Naga Shaurya is said to be thinking on the film’s release.
With Shaurya’s another film Kanam (Telugu-Tamil bilingual) featuring Sai Pallavi is also scheduled for Feb release, the Oohalu Gusagusalade star is wanting to release Chalo for Pongal itself.
However, nothing has been finalised as of now. The talks with distributors, exhibitors are going on. If all goes well, we shouldn’t surprise to see Shaurya in Sankranthi race. Earlier it was Sharwa’s turn to stand in Sankranthi race, let’s see whether Shaurya would now fill this spot for the coming Sankranthi.
Elder Character Artist Still Feels Sexy
Of course, there is no denying of the fact that everyone needs some publicity and self-promotion these days. That is the reason many heroines share even the silliest details of their life on social media pages.
This particular character artist we’re talking about has a couple of decades back tried her hand as a leading lady but failed miserably. Later she turned to roles of mother and vadina, and clicked a lot. And now, she reached that 50+ age where she will be playing only mother roles.
Generally in the south, when actresses cross that 50 mark, they consider themselves ‘senior’ and ‘mature’ and maintain a lot of dignity. But this hot lady actually slips into skimpy camisoles and yoga pants and often shares some sexy pics of her shot from the top angle with her friends. All those pictures are quite contrasted to the kind of roles she actually plays on screen.
There is no wrong in slipping into sexy outfits however as that is her personal choice. But those who have seen the pictures are wondering what is her intention as she spreads them on WhatsApp. Pch!!
Sunil Reveals Why He Rejected Agnyaathavaasi
Comedian turned hero Sunil, who is awaiting the release of his new film, ‘2 Countries’, has revealed the reason for turning down Pawan Kalyan’s “Agnyaathavaasi”.
Some time ago, there were strong reports that Sunil will make his comeback as a comedian with Pawan-Trivikram’s film. Confirming the same in a recent interview, Sunil said that he was indeed offered a role by Trivikram and that he showed interest to act in the film.
Sunil added that he however didn’t like the way his role shaped up when Trivikram completed the final draft of the script. He then didn’t hesitate to convey his apprehensions to Trivikram, and the top director, being his very good friend, understood Sunil’s concern. The duo then took the amicable decision of working together in another film. That’s how Sunil missed Agnyaathavaasi.
When Sunil was acing the game as a comedian, Trivikram created several humorous characters for him. Audience will have to wait for some more time to see Sunil mouthing Trivikram’s punch dialogues.
Nani Now Doesn’t Fear Mahesh & Bunny!
Call it the confidence given by his success streak or the unbelievable box office performance of his latest release ‘MCA’ despite below par talk, Nani is now getting ready to lock horns with Top stars of Tollywood.
According to reliable reports, Nani’s next film, ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ has been locked to hit screens on April 12, 2018. Nani, who has been releasing three films every year, is after a long time placing his film in the highly competitive Summer race. Furthermore, by opting April 12 release date, he has now declared clash with either a Mahesh-starrer or Bunny’s.
It is known that both Mahesh’s ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ and Bunny’s ‘Naa Peru Surya’ are tentatively slated to hit screens on April 27, 2018. However, either one or both might see a change of release date since Superstar Rajinikanth’s “2.0” has also been announced for the same date. In all likelihood, one of the aforementioned biggies will release on April 12, and trade has been buzzing in this regard for a while now. What’s more, Ram Charan’s highly awaited “Rangasthalam” is releasing just two weeks before April 12.
Aware of all these equations, Nani and the makers of his new film have still reportedly locked April 12. Nani is already being called a star after witnessing his crowd pulling capability even with films having average content, if he manages to score a hit with this Summer race, he can be officially placed in the Top league.
Also starring Anupama Parameswaran, Krishnarjuna Yuddham has Nani playing dual role.

Jr Artist Gives Rude Shock To Allari Naresh
Film Industry makes you richer in just days if everything goes well. But there are many stories of despair, loss and stark-reality if you could see other side. One such situation has stunned Allari Naresh recently.
Actually, Naresh is said to be shooting for his latest movie and a Junior Artist who is part of the acting gang is shying away to show his face to our hero. After finding out that the Jr Artist is hiding, Naresh, who hasn’t recognized that guy, actually asked his team to call him. But after the Jr Artist came near, Naresh got shocked that the person was his classmate from acting batch, when they got trained at Devadas Kanakala Film Institute under popular trainer Deekshit.
“That person asked me If I really remember him. I said yes. Then I’ve realized the reality. We are a batch of 106 members who got trained in acting, but only a six of them have a got a sort of break here. That’s the reality. Audiences will see only some successful ones, but other artists, technicians suffer a lot and vanish. Films will have happy ending, not lives of people in this industry”, said Naresh, expressing his heartfelt feelings.
After that Jr Artist’s rude shock, we hear that Naresh has decided to start a trust on his father, late EVV Satyanarayana’s name and do something for struggling cinema artists. A good intention indeed!!
