Other day being the co-founder of Puri Jagan’s talent management agency, heroine Charmi got nothing to do with the director’s films. This is what it looks on the outside. And then for people close to the film industry, it is known that she took care of the total production of Puri’s latest films, including his son’s launching flick “Mehbooba”. But there is more to this.

According to the grapevine, Charmi is involving in production and taking care of everything from promotions to planning not because she’s just asked to do, or she wanted to do. It is because the project Mehbooba happened due to her financial support, say insiders. We hear that it is because of her Puri Jagan is able to find such a rich investment for his son.

A source revealed that Charmi amassed crores of rupees with the support of her Punjabi friends from abroad and made them invest in Puri’s film. As she is answerable for all the pennies invested, she’s taking care of everything from script to release. And she has done this fund-pulling because of her respect towards Puri Jagan as a director, they say.

In the end, it looks like Puri also didn’t disappoint any including Charmi as the teaser of the film that was released recently has spoken volumes. Hope Charmi’s dream will be realised to the full at the box office also.

The super success of the film “Ami Tumi” has once again put director Indraganti Mohan Krishna in the spotlight. Everyone is waiting to see what sort of magic this director will now do on the silver screen. And here comes his next film.

Other day Indraganti announced that his next featuring Sudheer Babu in the lead which marks the debut of Bollywood hottie Aditi Rao Hydari in Tollywood is titled as “Sammohanam”. The film is a romantic comedy with his typical style of satire, fun and emotions. And what really speaks about the film is a picture released by the makers.

‘Sammohanam’, which means ‘mesmerising’, sounds literally true if we have to comment on the chemistry of the lead actors in the picture. With their surprised emotional look, both Aditi Rao Hydari and Sudheer are looking quite intense, realistic and appealing.

Already Aditi has proven herself with such intense and emotional roles in films like Padmaavat and Maniratnam’s Cheliya as well. From last two days, the big news that is wooing Telugu fans is that lovebirds and now a married couple, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are going to rekindle their romance on silver screen yet again. Apparently, it is said that for director ‘Ninnu Kori’ fame Siva Nirvana’s film we will be seeing Samantha romancing Chay for the fourth time on silver screen. And then other news is that aspiring director Sowjanya who worked as Krishna Vamsi’s assistant also got a green signal from Chay for a film. And it is rumoured that Rakul Preet will be romance Chay for the second time through this film. But Chaitanya clarified that other than Chandu Mondeti’s Savyasachi and Maruthi’s Sailaja Reddy Alludu, there is no film he has signed at the moment.

After the mammoth success of ‘Baahubali’, several top production houses and directors came up with big offers to make films with Prabhas. But, the Rebel Star decided to honor his earlier commitments and work with two one-film-old directors back to back.

Prabhas’ current film, ‘Saaho’ is being directed by Sujeeth, who had directed only one film till date, ‘Run Raja Run’. The ‘Baahubali’ star’s next film will be helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar, whose only credit as director is ‘Jil’.

The latest we hear is that another one-film-old director aspires to direct Prabhas. Raju Sundaram, despite being a celebrated and successful choreographer, dreams to succeed as a director. He made his directorial debut with Ajith-starrer, “Aegan” in 2008. It has been a decade since, but he is yet to direct his second film.

Buzz is that Raju Sundaram has recently approached UV Productions, who are the very close friends of Prabhas, with a story idea. He aims to direct Prabhas in a high budget actioner. Impressed by the idea, the production house is reportedly holding talks with the choreographer. For now, the discussions are in very nascent stage, and a decision will be made based on how the story idea develops.

So much is being speculated about the genre and protagonist’s character in NTR-Trivikram film that fans as well as film buffs are left perplexed. With the regular shoot expected to kick off in less than a month, rumors are flying fast and thick.

Amidst all these speculations (some baseless and some cooked by vested interests), we have the reliable information that NTR will play the role of a Military officer in Trivikram’s directorial. It will however not be a completely patriotic or hard-hitting film but a commercial entertainer with Trivikram-brand humor and emotions. This is NTR’s first film that has Army backdrop.

NTR is getting trained by a Hollywood trainer to get a lean and fit physique. It is a rigorous workout regime that NTR decided to undergo so as to meet the character’s requirements and also to stump audience with his never seen before look.

Regular shooting will kick off in March third week. Pooja Hegde will play the female lead. Trivikram is currently busy finalizing the cast and crew.
