Meet Master ‘Avram Bhakta Manchu’

Hero Manchu Vishnu, who has been blessed with a baby boy a few days ago, has named his son after his father. The boy has been named ‘Avram Bhakta Manchu’.

It is known that Mohan Babu’s real name is Bhakta Vatsalam Naidu. Vishnu named his son in a manner that it resonates with his father’s name. The ‘Dhee’ hero also revealed the meaning of the word ‘Avram’ – ‘One who cannot be stopped.

“Ariaana calls him ‘Baby Lion’
Viviana calls him ‘ Baby Teddy Bear’
Rest of us call him Avram Bhakta Manchu
Avram means ‘One who cannot be stopped’,” tweeted Vishnu while announcing his son’s name.

Vishnu already has twin daughters – Ariaana and Viviana.

On work front, Vishnu will be next seen in ‘Achari America Yathra’, ‘Voter’ and ‘Gayathri’.

Babu Targets Rajamouli

Rajamouli is known for his exceptional direction in his movies. He is often touted as the best director in recent times. Every frame in his films is a case study for upcoming directors. Rajamouli is not only careful in his filmmaking, but the director is extremely diplomatic when he makes any comments on a public front.

Babu Gogineni is a well-known atheist, Indian Humanist-Rationalist and Human Rights, activist, condemned Rajamouli after the director branded him as ‘Atheist’. Rajamouli has become the latest victim of Babu Gogineni who is doing circles in the media since past few weeks.

Speaking at a discussion panel, Babu Gogineni claimed that, it is because of people like Rajamouli the common man is having an insolent attitude towards atheists and Atheism. ‘I heard Rajamouli claiming himself as an atheist. Post that interview, Rajamouli entered into a temple in traditional Hindu dress along with a Brahman.

I have no problem with Rajamouli going to a temple. But it is unacceptable, if someone like him who claims to be an ‘atheist’ and still following traditions,’ said Babu Gogineni. He further articulated that, there are over 100 crore people on this earth, who don’t follow any religion or have any belief in god.

Recently, Babu Gogineni criticized astrologer Venu Swamy, claiming him to be fake, and fooling innocent people.

Chaitu Missed Super Hit Film

Young hero Naga Chaitanya, who is carrying the legacy of Akkineni family by becoming the new first choice hero for romantic entertainers, has missed a super hit romantic film.

Reports emerged couple of months ago that Chaitu was in discussions to act in the Telugu remake of super hit Bollywood film, ‘2 States’. Produced by Karan Johar, the romantic drama was a silver screen adaptation of best-selling writer Chetan Bhagat’s popular book of the same title. Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt played the lead roles in the Hindi film.

A noted producer acquired the Telugu remake rights and wanted to rope in Chaitu and Samantha to play the leads in the remake. The project however didn’t materialize as Chaitu reportedly wasn’t interested.

Months later, latest reports suggest that ‘2 States’ remake is finally happening, and with a different hero. Adivi Sesh, who scored a hit with “Kshanam”, has reportedly been signed to replace Chaitu in the remake. Sesh will play a Telugu boy who falls in love with a North Indian girl. A star kid has almost been finalized to play the fame lead, she will be making her film debut. The pre-production work is currently in progress, and the team plans to hit floors in March.

Ghazal Srinivas Row: AP Minister Admits Mistake

A day after defending Ghazal Srinivas, accused in alleged sexual harassment case, AP’s Endowments Minister Manikyala Rao has regretted his ‘supportive’ comments. Manikyala Rao retracted his statements on Ghazal Srinivas and stated that he was not fully aware of the issue when he had made those comments. Manikyala Rao finally admitted that it was a mistake and said he couldn’t believe that a person like Ghazal Srinivas could do such cheap things of luring a woman.

Earlier on Jan 3rd (Wednesday), Manikyala Rao had completely supported Ghazal Srinivas and even alleged that there was conspiracy behind framing him in the sexual harassment case. Manikyala Rao had stated that someone had tried to defame him.

Given that there are videos and photos of alleged sexual harassment by Ghazal Srinivas and cops have demanded for a week-long custody against his bail petition, AP Minister’s comments came as a huge shocker. However, finally, Manikyala Rao seems to have learnt his mistake only after he received severe flak from the top brass of the government.

Meanwhile, Ghazal Srinivas has been stripped off from the post of brand ambassador for ‘Save Temples’ initiative, a project run by the US based NGO Global Hindu Heritage Foundation.

Move on H-1B harmful for US too!

Every Indian immigrant’s attention is currently on the upcoming proposal from Donal Trump’s administration on the H1B Visa.

If the proposal becomes an official regulation, more than 4,00,000 Indians are likely to pack bags to India. Though this is a worrying factor for the Indian IT professionals, the IT Industry body NASSCOM said, it causes more harm to the US IT Industry.

Currently, over 2 million STEM jobs are vacant in the US. Out of these, 1 million lies in the IT sector. This clearly points out a huge skill gap in the US. Given the political motives, the gap will further broaden if Trump goes ahead with his H1B Visa tweaking.

The lack of skilled IT professionals in the US made it imperative for the MNCs to outsource the talent from countries like India and China.

The administration needs to publish the proposed changes in something called Federal Register. The Government needs to wait for a month, seeking public’s opinion and comments. Post that, the proposed draft will be read and evaluated. This whole process will take months to complete,’ said Prof Stephen Yale-Loehr.

In the wake of ‘Buy American, Hire American’ initiative, Trump might actually end up creating a huge void in the already existing skill gap in the US.

In what could be seen as the most surprising thing, Nagarjuna led Akkineni International Foundation has now lost its FRCA license, which means that they can’t get funds from foreign donors. Wonder why this happened?

Other day Union ministry of Home Affairs confirmed that they have cancelled Foreign Contribution Regulation Act license of nearly 4867 NGOs across the country as they have failed to file the IT returns from 2011 to 2016 for six financial years. This includes the license of 454 NGOs from Andhra Pradesh and 190 NGOs from Telangana losing their FCRA licenses.

Akkineni Foundation, which is operating from 2004, was founded by ANR and micro-managed by Nagarjuna and his brother Venkat. Apart from giving the popular ANR Award, the foundation undertook the CSR wing of Annapurna Studios and conducts health camps in various places including Hyderabad and Gudivada, and also providing other medical facilities for AP Film Industry Employees Federation members.

With this decision taken by Central Government, Akkineni Foundation cant get any direct funds from foreign donors. Much of the details of the whole happening wasn’t revealed, however, but it looks like Nagarjuna is getting into action to get things corrected.

Nizamabad Airport proposal lands in Delhi!

GMR has been hailed for the construction of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport located at Shamshabad, Ranga Reddy district. But only very few people know to what extent the state government had to compromise. According to a pact signed between GMR and then state government, no other airport should be used for ‘civilian and commercial’ purposes within a radius of 150km from Shamshabad.

This forced the state government to end commercial air traffic at the Begumpet Old Airport. Realizing the need and importance of another airport, Telangana MP, Kalvakuntla Kavitha put forth a proposal to the central government.

Mrs Kavitha met Ashok Gajapati Raju, Ministry of Civil Aviation, in New Delhi. The Telangana State government came up with a drafted proposal for the construction of the airport in Nizamabad district. She requested the Honourable Minister to direct the corresponding officials, to carry out a comprehensive study on various factors to determine whether the site in Jakranpalli, Nizamabad is suitable for the construction of the airport or not. The minister has responded positively to the request of MP Kavitha.

The Telangana government also allotted 225 acres in Warangal for the restoration of the Nizam-era airport.
