We have recently given the literal glimpse of how the teaser of Sr NTR’s biopic is going to be. Now, here is another add-on to the upcoming teaser.
The mace you can see in the above picture was used by the legendary NTR in his iconic film, “Daana Veera Soora Karna”. It has been preserved along with several other things used by NTR in real life as well as in films. Director Teja is going to show a visual of the mace in the teaser of NTR’s biopic that will reportedly be unveiled on the eve of his next death anniversary, January 18, 2018. Wouldn’t it be a feast for movie lovers to see Balayya, in NTR’s getup, holding it?
The shoot of the teaser commenced two days ago at Ramakrishna Studios (Hyderabad), founded by NTR himself.
There is no need to reiterate that Telugu film industry is dominated by actresses from Malayalam, Tamil and North. For a change, a Kannada beauty seems to be on her way to make it big here.
Young Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna, who hog limelight in Sandalwood with her blockbuster debut film, ‘Kirik Party’, can become the next big thing in Tollywood if we go by the kind of potential films she is signing. She is all set to make her Telugu cinema debut with Naga Shourya starrer ‘Chalo’. And, she is also shooting for Allu Aravind’s production venture, a Vijay Deverakonda starrer.
After those two, the smart lady has now signed another potential film, a Ram starrer, to be produced by Dil Raju. Successful director Trinadha Rao Nakkina will direct this film, which was officially announced couple of days ago. Said to be a romantic drama, the film offers a meaty role to Rashmika.
Interestingly, Rashmika was supposed to play one of the female leads in Ram’s earlier film, ‘Vunnadi Okate Zindagi’ but she somehow missed that film, and got this big opportunity to work with him. A few months ago, speculations were rife that she was also under consideration for Prabhas’ “Saaho”.
Dil Raju, who introduced ‘Premam’ sensation Sai Pallavi to Telugu audiences, has signed this Kannada sensation after being impressed by her charming performance in ‘Kirik Party’.
Adavi Ramudu is the 1977 blockbuster film starring NTR Sr. The title was reused for Prabhas’ and B. Gopal’s 2004 action-romance film. Apparently, the title will be used for the third time for a 2018 Telugu film.
We have learnt from reliable sources that Suresh Productions has registered ‘Adavi Ramudu’ title for the Telugu version of Rana’s upcoming tri-lingual film, “Haathi Mere Saathi”. The film has nothing to do with either NTR’s or Prabhas’ film, but the title was chosen keeping the film’s story line in mind.
To be directed by Tamil filmmaker Prabhu Solomon, the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The regular shooting will commence in January 2018 in Thailand. The adventure film will be shot across India in next schedules, a 2018 Diwali release, as per current update.
Buzz is that Varun Tej is likely to play another hero in this big budget film. If this is true, it will be the Mega hero’s second multistarrer with Daggubati family heroes. We have already reported that Varun Tej and Venkatesh will act together in Anil Ravipudi-Dil Raju’s “F2: Fun & Frustration”.
Versatile actor Brahmaji has been roped in for a very important role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.Brahmaji will reportedly play Chiranjeevi’s trusted aide in the film. Brahmaji will sport a new look in Sye Raa.
He will be seen with a tonsured head and twirled moustache for the character that is reminiscent to Kattappa in Baahubali.Brahmaji is seen wearing a cloth around his head to guard his getup from Sye Raa. The Sindhooram actor is currently one of the busiest character actors in Tollywood.
He has been playing various roles ranging from comedian to villain and is currently one of the highest paid supporting actors. Looks like Brahmaji has a prominent role to play in Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa.
We can rest assured that it will be remembered as a great character given the actor’s dedication and sincerity.
Chennai: It finally happened. After decades of speculation, denials and flip-flops, Rajinikanth finally announced his political entry.
Cheered on by hundreds of supporters at a marriage hall in Chennai, Rajinikanth stopped short of announcing a political party, but said he will launch one at an “appropriate time” to contest all 234 seats in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections.
Sources close to the actor told media that he would likely name his party and chalk out a strategy by January 14, the day Tamil Nadu celebrates the harvest festival of Pongal.
The announcement ended two decades of speculation over the entry of the actor, who enjoys cult status in Tamil cinema, in the political arena.
“I am joining politics and it is for sure,” said the actor clad in a spotless white kurta and sporting a grey beard.
Much awaited Pawan Kalyan’s song Kodaka Koteswara Rao from Agnyaathavaasi is out and it is worth the hype and hoopla.
Pawan’s energetic rendition in his trademark style and the entertaining lyrics penned by Bhaskarabhatla will make this click instantly with the listeners.
Anirudh keeps the tune and music simple and had let Pawan’s voice do the talking.
The song is on par with Katamarayuda from Attarintiki Daredi and will give relief to the fans that are complaining about complete classy feel of the album.
New Delhi: The upcoming new year will be a “special one” because this will see an entry into adulthood and voting age of all those who were born in the year that began the21st century, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday.
“Tomorrow (Monday) will be a special day. Those who were born in the year beginning the 21st century will turn 18 and will become eligible to cast their votes,” Modi said during his monthly and 2017’s last ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio address.
The Prime Minister appealed to all those turning 18 in 2018 to register themselves as voters and help frame the “India of 21st century”.
“Your vote will become the foundation of a new India… You will not just be granting yourselves the right to vote but will be making yourselves the founders of the tomorrow’s India,” Modi said.
He also suggested a district-level organising of ‘Mock Parliament’ sessions to give the young adults a practical knowledge of the polity.
He exhorted the youth to use their voting right to usher in a “people’s revolution” for the country’s development.
Well, if this statement was made by a hero or a character artiste, it wouldn’t have raised any eyebrows. But it is his heroine who made this comment.
Yes, Nayanatara who acted with Balakrishna in quite a few hit films made the comment during an interview to a Tamil magazine.
Responding to a question about consistently working with Balakrishna in Telugu, Nayanatara said, “Balakrishna is like a father figure to me. I have immense respect for him and I enjoy working with him. In fact, I consider Balakrishna a family member.”
Now, no matter what feelings one has within, no heroine equates her hero to a father figure. More so, when they are still active in their respective careers. But Nayanatara bared her true feelings during her interview.
Nayanatara was being interviewed by Vikatan magazine for their New Year special. Recently, she did a critically acclaimed film Aram in Tamil.Right now, she is shooting for Jai Simha alongside Balakrishna in Telugu.
Actor Kamal Haasan, who is planning to take a plunge into politics, on Sunday extended a warm welcome and greetings to megastar Rajinikanth in the political arena.
Rajinikanth on Sunday morning announced he would float a political party that would practice “spiritual politics” and contest in all of the state’s 234 constituencies in the next Assembly polls.
“Greetings to brother Rajini for his social feelings and political entry. Welcome, welcome,” Kamal tweeted.
Rajinikanth was also wished the best of luck for his new stint, and the actor thanked them all.
Legendary Tamil filmmaker K. Balachander may have given life to Rajinikanth as an actor, but he credited two other filmmakers for making him a Superstar. The two persons as named by Rajini are – Mani Ratnam and Suresh Krishna.
The maverick Mani Ratnam has directed Rajini in only one film – Thalapathi (1991), dubbed in Telugu as Dalapathi, which was a massive blockbuster of its time and remains a cult classic. The film is counted among Top 5 best films of both Rajini and Mani Ratnam.
Suresh Krishna has directed Rajini in four films including “Baashha” (1995). This is the most iconic film of Rajini, a film that made him the Superstar of Indian cinema, a film that inspired a new genre in filmmaking. The cult film recently had a re-release all over India.
On Saturday, while addressing his fans on the fifth day of his six-day long fans’ meetings in Chennai, the 67-year-old said that Mani Ratnam and Suresh Krishna made him a superstar. He credited Balachander for teaching him the basics of acting and spotting his talent. Finally, he thanked his fans for making him what he is today.
