As expected, Akkineni Akhil’s second film, “Hello” has taken a very good start at US box office, all thanks to director Vikram Kumar’s brand. The film has reportedly collected around $200K (final number could slightly vary) from its US premieres.

Interestingly, the collections from Hello’s US premieres alone is much higher than the full run collections of Akkineni scion’s debut film, “Akhil”. While Hello raked in $200K plus from premieres alone, ‘Akhil’ collected a paltry $168K in its full run.

Adding to Vikram Kumar’s brand, if the content also clicks, Hello could amass very huge number in its full run.

As Malayali lass Keerthy Suresh is continuing with her winning streak in Tollywood it seems South Indian directors, especially from Tamil and Telugu filmdom, are vying to sign her up for their new movies.The bubbly actress, having already acted opposite biggies like Vijay, Surya and Nani, is now all set to act along side super star Pawan Kalyan.

Keerthy who enjoys a strong fan base across South India is currently in news for reportedly refusing to put on some extra weight for an upcoming movie.She will be portraying yesteryear Telugu actress Savithri, who had ruled the screens during her time, in a biopic. Keerthy is presently undergoing a major makeover to convincingly portray the role of Savithri.

Keerthy has already put on some weight for the role. But it is known that the actress had reportedly said a big ‘no’ to the film’s director who asked her to add a few more extra kilos to perfect the look.Savithri had once really put on weight amid her career. So, the director of the biopic had asked Keerthy too to do the same for the sake of the movie.

Keerthy had clearly refused the director’s demand as it would be very difficult for her to get back into shape after the filming.Earlier, Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty too had increased her body weight considerably to play the role of an over sized woman in the Telugu flick Size Zero.

But later, she found it extremely difficult to shed all those extra kilos and tone her body to play the warrior princess in the epic movie Baahubali. Anushka even underwent a surgery abroad to get back into shape.Looks like Keerthy had taken a cue from Anushka’s experience to flatly refuse adding on weight.

Nag Aswin, the film’s director may now resort to graphics to make Keerthy look chubbier. Actress Savithri was one among the three wives of Tamil super star Gemini Ganesan. Malayali heart throb Dulquer Salman will be playing the role of Gemini Ganesan in the movie.

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan, who scored a rare disaster with ‘Tubelight’, in his last attempt, is back to his comfort zone, Action with his latest film, “Tiger Zinda Hai” that released today. And, above average to decent reviews are pouring in for the action entertainer.

Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to Salman’s earlier blockbuster ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Also starring Katrina Kaif, the sequel has been directed by ‘Sultan’ fame Abbas Ali Zafar. The trailer that was released some time ago, promised an explosive action fest, and the movie that released today has reportedly lived up to the expectations.

The film is receiving applause for showing Salman as an action star, adrenaline-pumping action episodes, gripping and connecting screenplay, technical finesse and the inimitable Salman-Katrina romance. On the flip side, the film has very predictable story.

As Pawan Kalyan pointed out that few producers have even tried to make huge money out of a project that featured him and producer Radha Krishna of Agnyaathavaasi isn’t such guy, all fingers started pointing towards Sharrat Marar, who was rumoured to have made huge sum on Pawan’s Sardar and Katamarayudu.

And then, some stories started doing rounds that Sharrat is nowhere being seen around Pawan because of issues over making money through Katamarayudu. Perhaps the producer also didn’t tweet anything related to Agnyaathavaasi on his twitter, and that added fuel to all the stories. What are Sharrat’s thoughts now?

Reports are coming that Sharrat is deeply upset with the way media interpreted Pawan Kalyan’s comments. “Actually when I was asked to producer Katamarayudu, PK told me to make this project such that I would settle down. He asked me to earn good profits and invest that somewhere such that I will not face any financial problems in the near future. I’ve done the same” said Sharrat reportedly, to people close to him.

Also, he’s said to have told, “I’ve not produced Sardaar myself, but it is totally PK’s project only. I took care of the production but not distribution and profits. Moreover, Sardaar was acquired by Eros and they have to take care of distributors, not PK or me. So there is no point that someone says I’ve not taken care of Sardaar distributors’ losses by selling Katamarayudu to them. “.

Anyway, with the gap between Pawan and Sharrat widened, the latter has disappointed that people are now cooking some painful rumours on him.

Just after the morning and noon shows got over, MCA and Team have called for a special Thanks Meet other day, thereby springing an unexpected surprise. More than that, it is hero Nani’s speech at the event that made anyone little upset.

Speaking at the event, first Dil Raju spoke little genuinely, saying that reports are coming about MCA that second half is pretty average while the first half is enjoyable. But Nani sounded exaggerated at the event saying that while walking out from the 8.45 am the show he has watched in Hyderabad, he felt that he has done a great film with superior content. In reality, Nani is the saving grace of the movie ridden with the routine story and haphazard screenplay. If not him, the film would have been a disaster. But with Nani himself claiming that he has done an amazing film, we wonder what would anyone say.

Onlookers at the event felt like, while Dil Raju is very much into reality, Nani is walking on the clouds, without understanding the true response for MCA. With four days holidays in place, collections will easily come, but they will not be of Nani and Dil Raju’s calibre.

Information is coming from Haarika and Haasini camp that Trivikram is very much interested to bring the star comedian for a character but during the shooting time Ali couldn’t adjust dates as he’s flying to the USA then. Otherwise, everything between Pawan and Ali seems to be fine, we mean, All is well.
