Hyd Petrol Attack: Sandhya Dies in Hospital
In a tragic incident, Sandhya Rani, the victim of petrol attack in Hyderabad, who had been getting treated in Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad, succumbed to the injuries on Friday morning. The ghastly occurred in full public view in Hyderabad on Wednesday. She was rushed to hospital immediately, where her condition was stated to be critical. Sadly, she couldn’t come out alive owing to the 80 percent burns she had sustained.
Karthik, the accused has been taken into custody, and based on the statement Sandhya gave to police just before her death, could send him for imprisonment for a long time, said a police official. Sandhya’s mother is heart broken after her charred daughter succumbed to the burns.
For the unknown, the incident occurred in the city’s Lalaguda area when the 23-year-old Sandhya was returning home from work. The attacker is identified as Karthik, and he is suspected to be her ex-boyfriend. He has allegedly resorted to the ghastly crime when the girl had spurned his advances, after their break-up. He is said to have tortured her on phone to marry him before resorting to the inhumane act.
A case has been registered against Karthik under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Already when the teaser of Agnyaathavaasi got released, there were so many comments that it has a very close resemblance to every shot and scene to Attarintiki Daredi movie. As that film also belongs to Pawan and Trivikram, definitely some comparisons arise, and they are unavoidable too.
Later on, when Kushboo was seen, people got reminded of Nadiya from Attarintiki Daredi. There are Samantha and Praneetha in that past hit, now we have Keerthi Suresh and Anu Emmanuel in Agnyaathavaasi. Adding more to these AD vibes, now a set of pictures are haunting fans.

Yes I Spent More For Akhil : Nag
Nagarjuna seems to be fed up with media’s quizzing on the high-budget for his son Akhil’s film Hello. Irked Nag said that he was never asked such questions for his own films although when he had teamed up with new directors. He seems to be not liking now when media suddenly finding issue with budget of Hello.
“Never before in my career, I was asked that why I was spending more on my films with new directors. I had spent Rs 18 Crore for Rajanna, no one had issues then. I even spent a lot on many of my films. If you ask me that I have spent more now on Akhil’s Hello, yes, I did spend more because of love on my son. I do have love on the film,” said Nagarjuna who looked pretty confident on Hello that is releasing in a few more hours.
Nag even stated that he didn’t interfere in the making of Hello while it was shooting. However, he admitted that he tried to give advises, deadlines to team during the post-production work. “I have read online that I was interfering in the filmmaking which is not true. I have never interfered after the film’s script was locked. During the shooting, I didn’t involve. But post-production is the phase I like most. So I take extra care on colours, DI and how the film is shaping up,” shared Nag. He added that had asked people in DI and other post-production departments to give enough time for better output.
Nag said that he will never involve in films of his sons that are produced by other producers. He said that his job will finish after producing a film with his elder son Naga Chaitanya that he had announced with Vikram recently.
Nag said that he had invited Chiranjeevi to watch Hello and he had liked it very much and hugged Akhil for a while after watching the film. He said that even he has got happy tears after watching the film.
Middle Class Troubles for Nani’s MCA
Hero Nani’s latest movie Middle Class Abbayi today aka MCA has hit screens today. Produced by Dil Raju and carved out by Venu Sriram, the film has enough buzz already at the box office and all that buzz should actually turn into a blockbuster range success. Is that going to happen?
Currently, any hero’s box office range is not being determined by his fan bases but only by the content of the film. And now, MCA is sold in many areas to various distributors while Dil Raju will release on his own in few places. According to trade reports, the film made a pre-release business of nearly 24+ crores in AP and Telangana alone, while Overseas rights are sold for 3.5+ crores.
Including all other territories, it made 30+ crores already, so the film should collect minimum that much amount to make everyone safe. The first day numbers are heard to be marking Nani’s career best, but due to huge pre release business and mixed talk, breakeven seems to be a herculian task.
Going by the present talk at theatres and reviews of critics, it looks like Nani has to struggle a bit to get a superhit range of collection, leave alone a blockbuster. But Nani’s image has the ability to pull magical feat at the box office and during these times where there is no big competitor around, he might pull off. But let’s see if Akhil’s Hello can stop the unstoppable Nani this time.

Surprise: Naidu Wishes Jagan On Birthday!
YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who celebrated his 45th birthday on Thursday, received greetings from a surprising quarter – his bête noire – Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Naidu conveyed his warm wishes to Jagan through twitter.“Wishing you a happy birthday @YSJagan. May god bless you with a happy and healthy life,” said the chief minister on his official twitter handle.
This is perhaps for the first time that Naidu had wished Jagan on his birthday in the last three years. It was a sort of blessing from Naidu, who is nearly 22 years older than Jagan.
His twitter message evoked good response from his followers, who described it as a good gesture on the part of a true politician with statesmanship. Some netizens said it reflected the friendly nature of Naidu.
Some others wondered whether Jagan would ever reply to Naidu’s message.“May be, he would do it after he becomes the chief minister,” another netizen said.
May be, Naidu wanted to gain psychological edge over Jagan by conveying his birthday wishes to the latter, thereby earning some goodwill among the people.
However, all these tricks hardly make any difference in the elections and what matters is how both the parties would be able to win the confidence of the voters with their performances and promises.

Samantha Didn’t Cry, But Why Tears Then?
Other day “Hello” audio function saw a horde of celebrities from Mega and Akkineni clans heaping praises on Akhil. At that time, Kodalu Samantha looked little emotion when Nagarjuna praised her husband.
During introducing Chay at the event, Nagarjuna said, “Chay is the good guy and he’s best than all of us when it comes to that good”. While Nagarjuna is talking that way, actually Samantha is seen blinking her eyes as if she got very much emotional and later she was said to be clearing her swollen eyelids.
