Praveen’s Three Cousins Found Just One Hero
Apparently, one blockbuster puts you in a spot where you can’t decide which direction to take up from the next. It looks like the applause received by PSV Garudavega at the box office has done the same to director Praveen Sattaru now.
Despite being a National Award Winning film’s director, Praveen still tried a hand at dark comedy to prove his mettle. Post Garudavega however, he’s expected to carve out biopic of Telugu badminton star Pullela Gopichand, but still, in a confusion, it seems.
Recently hero Nitin announced that Praveen’s next will be under his production. Reports are now coming out that they are coming up with a ‘Hang Over’ type of film that revolves around three cousins. While Nitin is one of the heroes in this multi-starrer, they are said to be approaching Nara Rohit and Rana Daggubati for other roles.
Tentatively the film is titled “3 Cousins” while it may get a new one in the process of making. What is need to be seen is, which genre type of film Praveen Sattaru will pick this time. Watch this space for updates.
Star Producer To Launch Chiru’s Alludu
Ending the months of speculation over the launch of Kanuganti Kalyan, the younger son-in-law of Megastar Chiranjeevi, it has finally become reality.
Well-trained in acting, dances and stunts, Kanuganti Kalyan, is all set to be launched as hero. Kalyan will be made his acting debut in an untitled film to be produced by Sai Korrapati under Vaarahi Chalana Chitram. It is learnt that Kalyan is impressed with the story narrated by new-age director Rakesh Sashii and has given his nod. Apparently, mega family has given its green signal to go ahead.
Billed to be a youthful love story with interesting plot, this is going to be directed by Rakesh Sashii who made his directorial debut with Jatha Kalise that was presented by Sai Korrapati himself.
Kalyan’s launch film is yet to get its title. A formal announcement is likely to be made soon. So, muhurat for the launch of yet another Mega hero is fixed. Stay tuned for more updates.

Pawan’s Dynasty Politics Comment: Naidu Speaks Out
Some powerful lines on dynasty politics from Pawan Kalyan’s hard hitting speech at his Vizag meeting the other day, had impact on many political leaders while the Janasena chief’s prime target remained YS Jagan. YSRC sent it’s loud mouth Roja to counter Pawan’s statements on Jagan and she questioned who Pawan Kalyan would be if he is not Chiranjeevi’s brother.
Not just the YSRC leaders, here comes the Srikakulam TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu who came into direct politics and won as an MP after his father Yerram Naidu’s sudden demise in a road accident.
Responding to the comments made by Pawan kalyan, the young TDP MP stated that he did not just become MP using the name of his father, but been in opposition for more than 18 months, did cycle yatra, ensured to know the problems of public in the constituency.
Ram Mohan says that he is not against dynasty politics, but one has to prove their ability. Ram Mohan believes that not just his father’s name, but also his ability to serve public and people’s trust on him to continue the legacy built by his father, made him their leader. The TDP MP finally agreed with Pawan kalyan in a way that dynasty politics may give a chance once, but one can’t keep the power given by public unless he proves himself next time.
Gautham Menon Met With Road Accident
Ace Director in Telugu and Tamil Gautham Vasudevan Menon met with a road accident in Chennai. A tipper lorry coming in opposite direction hit the director’s car at East Coast Road in the capital city. However, he escaped with minor injuries. The car was damaged completely in the head on collision.
Gautam was travelling to Mahabalipuram from Chennai when the accident was happened. Reports says he was immediately rushed to nearby hospital and undergoing treatment for minor injuries.
He directed films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi also. Em Maya Chesave with star cast Naga Chaitanya and Samantha was his debut film in Tollywood. At present, Gautham is working on Dhuruva Natachathiram with Vikram, Andrea Jeremiah and Aishwarya Rajesh and others.
Rangasthalam Delayed: ‘9’ Sentiment Beats ‘8’
We are talking about the supposed First Look of Ram Charan and Sukumar’s upcoming period drama “Rangasthalam 1985”. The date and time that are promised to mega fans are deferred by a day now.
Freshly the producer of Rangasthalam, Mythri Movie Makers, has announced that the First Look of this much-awaited film will be releasing on “9th December at 9 AM”. That means fans have to wait for few more hours than the earlier muhurat to get a glance at the first look.
If we look at the first released muhurat, the date and time are a total ‘8’, a sentiment that Film Industry always avoids. ‘Ashtama’ ‘Ashtami’ are two words that our sentimental people don’t like. And now the latest date reads like total ‘9’ all the way, both date and time.
In the first place, why would they announce the ‘8’ sentiment date earlier and later change it, seems to be a mystery? Anyway, let’s hope this date will not get changed to ‘December 10, 10 AM’ or so!
Eswaramma, Naku Time Vastundi: Jagan
Responding to the defection of Paderu MLA Giddi Eswari who jumped into the TDP, YS Jagan says it pains him. He recalled how he handpicked Eswari when she was an ordinary school teacher and given her the YSRCP party ticket from Paderu Assembly constituency in 2014. Jagan said that she has become MLA with the blessings of the people and God. He said he has given her due importance within the party and opined that she would remain with him if good time comes.
“I’m not in power. So what can I do to them? What can I give to them. 44 other MLAs too getting offers. But they are resisting the tempting offers. I wish Eswaramma too resisted and remained with me. My time will come in one year and she would have been benefited when I come to power,” Jagan said.
Jagan said it certainly disappoints him. Ever since TDP won in 2014 general polls with a considerable majority, several senior leaders of YSRCP and legislators of the party have switched their loyalties to the TDP leaving Jagan. While Jagan had been confident, somehow he looks dull these days especially after the public verdict in Nandyal by-election and Kakinada municipal polls.
Nag Vs Dil Raju: Both Claimed Same Thing
On December 21st we have Nani’s Middle Class Abbayi aka MCA hitting cinemas and on 22nd Akhil’s Hello is releasing in theatres. What is to be seen here is, both the parties are claiming the same thing about the release date. And both have a wish.
Speaking with the press today, MCA producer Dil Raju stated that they have announced December 21st as release date way back in August only. “We have actually announced in August that 21st is our date and later felt like pushing the release to 15th. But as that didn’t happen, we’re sticking to the original plan” he said.
Other day Nagarjuna also claimed the same thing, saying, “We’ve announced the releaese date in September only and most of the time I stick to December only. So what can I do to the release date?”.
Anyway, both the producers felt that box office is able to accommodate both the films as Christmas holidays are also coming. Nagarjuna said, “For festivals, nearly five films are releasing. So now, it’s not tough if two films arrive. Nani is a proven hero and he will have his share”.
Responding to the same query, Dil Raju added, “For Sankranthi, we have seen my Satamanam Bhavati, Khaidi No 150 and Balayya’s film doing well and collecting well. So this Christmas also, both Nani and Akhil’s movies will rock. Audiences will give us blockbuster”
Featuring Nani, Sai Pallavi and Bhumika in the leads, MCA is directed by Venu Sriram of Oh My Friend fame. Akhil’s Hello has newcomer Kalyani debuting as heroine and it is carved by Vikram K Kumar.
Why Hello teaser removed? – Nag clarifies
The Vikram Kumar-Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Hello’ has been carrying positive buzz, ever since the shooting kicked off early this year. Even the recent teaser that was released on social media has mesmerized the fans of Akkineni but things turned bad when YouTube removed the film’s teaser for few hours.
Going into the news, the producer of the film Nagarjuna Akkineni has offered a clarification on Hello teaser, which was taken off by You Tube for six hours. Speaking at a promotional event of Hello, Nag said that it was not Anup Rubens (film’s music composer) who scored the background music for the teaser.
‘Since he was very busy at the time of teaser release, we had to rely on a Bombay company for BGM and it’s a common thing in industry. But, the Mumbai company later clarified that they have taken this score from a Hong Kong company which had a contract with some Hollywood firm.
So, when You Tube people deleted our teaser, the contract company folks were sleeping and as a result, the mitigation was delayed by six hours,’ briefed Nagarjuna who’s very much confident about the film’s output. Nagarjuna added that he had enforced Anup to score back ground music for the theatrical trailer. But, for cinephiles, that isn’t different from what they experienced in teaser.
Nagarjuna, who also smashed a query on Nandi Awards Controversy, said that ‘Manam is bigger than an Oscar for us.’
Pawan is Package Artiste: Roja
Actress-turned-politician Roja has made sensational comments on actor and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. Roja has described Pawan Kalyan as ‘Package Artiste’ who takes ‘package’ from CM Chandrababu Naidu and endorses him & his party. Roja didn’t stop there. She continued to make severe allegations on Pawan Kalyan and his character.
Alleging that Pawan had criticised Chandrababu Naidu when the former was in Praja Rajyam Party (founded by his brother Chiranjeevi), Roja said that Pawan enters the scene only to save Chandrababu today.
Giving a strong counter to Pawan’s ‘dynastic politics’ remarks against Jagan, she stated that there is no Pawan Kalyan without Chiranjeevi and she said how Pawan is talking about ‘dynasty’. She strongly backed Jagan stating that he is the successor of YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
Roja shot direct questions to Pawan over his ‘late reaction’ on the recent boat accident to his immediate attendance to the Andhrajyothy head office in Hyderabad soon after it met with fire accident to Pawan’s silence over TDP government’s inaction against AP being the ‘largest’ exporter of women into the ‘flesh trade’. Roja even questioned Pawan’s reticence over the bus accident belonging to TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy. She said that Pawan has been ‘oblivious’ to the ‘mistakes’ of the TDP government.
Meanwhile, Pawan’s fans and Janasena followers are fuming against Roja for her verbal attack against their favourite person.
