Balayya And Boyapati’s Film: Date Fixed?
Till date, the doubt is if Mahesh Babu will feature in this planned film of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu or not. But it seems like, no matter what happens, Boyapati wants his film with mass-god to take off.
At the moment, Boyapati is fine-tuning the story of his next with Ram Charan whose regular shooting will start soon. After wrapping this project, he will move to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s film. Reports are coming that this film will be launched formally on June 10th, 2018 and will be produced by none other than Mythri Movie Makers.
Meanwhile, if Mahesh Babu agrees to star in the role, then it will be made as a huge multi-starrer, otherwise, Boyapati Sreenu is on the lookout for another hero. A rumour says that Boyapati might take up either Nara Rohit or some other hero close to Balayya’s coterie for that role.
While Boyapati wraps up his work on Ram Charan’s film, Balayya will be working on SV Krishna Reddy’s new film, say sources.
Akhil Will Sing And Dance For Vizag!
Finally, Akhil Akkineni is coming up with his second film after more than a year gap. Titled “Hello”, this movie is being carved out by Vikram K Kumar of Ishq and Manam fame.
As the film is all set for December 22nd release, hero’s dad and producer Nagarjuna Akkineni now wants to kick-start promotions, starting with a grand-scale audio launch of the film. He took a press announcement to confirm that Hello audio will be released in Vizag on December 10th evening at MGM grounds.
And the speciality of the event is that Akhil will be singing a song like he did at SIIMA event and then he will also take up dance performance for another song on the stage. Confirming this, Nagarjuna said, “I’ve told Akhil, singing in a studio and at awards function is easy, but he has to perform live before audiences. So he’s practising that; will sing a song and also will dance”.
Also Nagarjuna added that the film has turned out pretty good with action sequences being the top notch ones we have ever seen on Telugu screen. “Vikram’s scripts always have that magic. After looking at the first copy I’m pretty confident of its success. Akhil’s two-year wait will be fruitful” he concluded.
First Look: Temper Hindi Remake ‘Simmba’
Long ago, director Rohit Shetty confirmed that he’s going to remake Telugu movie “Temper” by taking 50% of its scenes and adding some new scenes in his style. And finally, the film gets a going.
For the first time ever, top shot producer Karan Johar is joining hands with Rohit Shetty to produce this remake, titled “Simmba”. Star hero Ranveer Singh who is going great guns at the moment is playing the title role, reprising Jr NTR’s character Daya, a corrupt police officer.
What looks different is the colour popping poster of the film like a vintage art-poster. Name of the hero in the film is Sangram Bhalerao, a Maharashtrian cop and his nickname is ‘Simmba’. One wonders why that ‘mm’ (double m) in the title name? Here goes an interesting titbit.
Actually, the name ‘Simba’ will have copyright issue because it’s the popular name of the cub lion from the film, Disney’s “The Lion King”.
While this Temper remake is set for December 18, 2018, release, the heroine is not yet finalised.
Hyd Techie Killed In Road Mishap In America
A 26 year old engineering student Naga Tulasiram was killed in a road accident in America. He was studying Masters in Technology in Bridgeport University.
The parents residing at Suraram village in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits received information that their son succumbed to injuries received in road accident on Wednesday morning.
Tulasiram father Jacob said his son was staying in Waterbury area in America. The local Kutbullapur MLA Vivekanand immediately informed the incident to IT minister KT Rama Rao and initiated measures to bring body to Hyderabad.
Saptagiri LLB Movie Review
This is Saptagiri’s second attempt at playing the lead role. One would expect comedy out of a film starring comedian in the lead role, but Saptagiri LLB is treated like a commercial hero’s film, which is its major minus. It is an official remake of Bollywood film Jolly LLB, which has a good script, but the remake makes a mess of it.
Story :
Saptagiri wants to be a successful lawyer so that he could marry his cousin (Kashish Vohra). Prominent criminal Lawyer Rajpal (Sai Kumar) successfully defends a rich guy from a hit and run case in which five people were killed. Saptagiri files a PIL against the rich guy and the case reopens. Can Saptagiri overcome the power and tactics of Rajpal to come out successful?
Performances:
Saptagiri resorts to action, romance and dances again. He doesn’t do much comedy and projects himself like an established action hero. You are in for huge disappointment if you expect good comedy out of a Saptagiri starrer. Kashish Vohra cannot act. She is just there for the sake of glamour. Sai Kumar delivers a commendable performance as the successful criminal lawyer. Siva Prasad as the judge gets a meaty role and he is okay in it. Shakalaka Shankar got nothing much to do.
Technicalities:
Director Charan Lakkakula altered the screenplay of the original to incorporate commercial elements like songs and fights. A plot like this doesn’t give scope for commercial elements, but the director used every opportunity to cut into a fight or song. The direction is pretty amateurish. Director delivers a substandard product in spite of having strong content on hands.
Songs and background music are pretty loud. Dialogues are equally bad except for the translated version from the original. Cinematography is good. Editing also is fine. The film is made on a decent budget and looks rich in every frame.

Analysis:
Neither the director nor anybody associated with Saptagiri LLB was able to grasp the soul of the original film Jolly LLB. The original was a sensible film with natural emotions and grounded characters. But the remake is a shoddy one with over the top performances and artificial emotions.
The lead character is shown like a superman who can pin down men double his size. And we are talking about a comedian playing the lead role here. Saptagiri picked a good subject to play the lead role, but he couldn’t resist himself from showcasing his other skills like dances and fights that are absolutely unnecessary for a film like this one.
First half of the film is totally over the top and tests the viewers patience with its senselessness. Second half is toned down and sticks to the original part, which works up to some extent. Scenes leading to climax are engaging and the climax scene is impressive. Barring the climax and pre climax, Saptagiri LLB is neither fun nor engaging.
Even the confrontations between Saptagiri and Sai Kumar don’t work as they are unpardonably over the top. Heroine’s character and the romance track also don’t click. The film horridly falls short of comedy in spite of having a comedian playing the lead role. Saptagiri LLB has a class theme but it is executed in such a way that masses can relate to it.
The film’s success will depend on how masses embrace it. Saptagiri LLB is a strict no-no for sensible film lovers and especially for those who have seen the original.
Verdict: A Bad Remake.
Get Ready For Sai Dharam Tej’s Agnathavasi
Despite choosing some interesting scripts and directors, somehow mega menalludu Sai Dharam Tej is not getting it right. And now, he has chosen a mass director for his next and felt quite excited about the combination.
Yes, Sai Dharam is all set to come up with an action comedy under the direction of VV Vinayak. After Khaidi No 150, this leading director also took time to find a script and also a hero. The film features Lavanya Tripathi, another struggling heroine in search of a hit, as the leading lady. What is the Agnathavasi connection to this then?
After Mavayya Pawan Kalyan, who is playing a software engineer in the Trivikram directorial, we hear that even Sai Dharam Tej is also playing the same role. Though the likes of Ram Charan and Allu Arjun played such software roles in movies like Naayak and Arya 2, definitely Pawan brought a new attention to the profession. Now that Sai Dharam is also walking in the same footsteps, many wonder how fans will receive it.
On the other hand, there is buzz that this film is titled “Durga” and couple of other titles are also heard. But inside talk is that a name is yet to be finalised for the film.
Hello! It’s Dil Raju’s Press Meet Now
Other day King Nagarjuna has stunned everyone with his Press Meet where he revealed more than anything on the pretext of announcing “Hello” audio launch date. However, some of the content revealed by him started spreading other rumours.
Reports are coming that today producer Dil Raju wants to hold a press meet at 3.30 pm in the afternoon. In the wake of Nagarjuna clarifying other day that they are not going back from Dec 22nd release date as he announced that in advance, rumours started spreading that Dil Raju is postponing Nani’s MCA release date date to a week later. We heard that the ace producer will clarify about this in today’s press meet.
But one should also not forget what Nagarjuna said about the clash. “Nani is also a happening hero and everyone’s film will survive at the box office as our theatres have potential even five films. For Jan, I heard that five films are coming. So there is nothing like competition, lack of theatres or friction with anyone for Hello”.
So what is Dil Raju going to say today? Did he want to clarify that he hasn’t started a war on Hello by fixing MCA release date just a day before Akhil’s film release? Or anything else? Or is he postponing? Or sticking to the same date?

Other day Janasena President Pawan Kalyan already warned that he won’t spare any backstabbers who cheated Megastar Chiranjeevi and who led Praja Rajyam Party’s downfall. And today while speaking at an event in Rajahmundry, he also revealed few names from his so-called hit list.
In that process, Pawan Kalyan stated that he’s not as easy and as cool guy as Chiranjeevi, but will give a tit-for-tat response to anyone who tries to portray him in the negative light. He explained why he criticised Parakala Prabhakar other day.
“First I’ve to talk about Parakala Prabhakar because after leaving PRP he made very cheap allegations. Okay, let’s say, Chiranjeevi garu has done mistakes. So what are you doing when he’s doing them? As you’re in the party, you have to guide him right? Where is your integrity?” asked Pawan, adding, “You questioned about BJP government not allocating Special Status to Andhra Pradesh government, but now you’ve sent your wife (Defence minister Nirmala Seetharaman) as Minister in BJP government and remained silent. Don’t you have a responsibility for AP?”.
Later Pawan Kalyan also explained why he remained silent during PRP’s merger with Congress and then pulled Allu Arvind’s name as well.
“During that times, there is need of some campaigning, and Allu Arvind garu told, no need of Pawan Kalyan, we will send Ram Charan or Allu Arjun. That means he’s looked at me as an actor but not a person with a social conscience. That made me silent and weep in pain” asserted Pawan Kalyan.
And then, Pawan expressed displeasure as to why some politicians and media houses are painting him as a Kapu leader. He stated that even Chiranjeevi is also not a Kapu leader. Saying this, Pawan added that he doesn’t’ want to hide any names and revealed that ABN Andhrajyothi newspaper and its editor Radha Krishna tried to portray him as a Kapu leader.
“When I went to Amaravathi, ABN RK garu’s Andhrajyothy wrote that I’m a Kapu leader with Kapu people around. Can you prove that? Not just me, but Chiranjeevi garu is also not limited to one caste. More than a Telugudesam or YSR Congress or Congress, it is Praja Rajyam Party that allotted a huge number of seats to BCs. I don’t know why Radhakrishna tried to project me in the bad light, but if anyone or any organisation try to portray me as a Kapu, then I’ll bring the list of their employees out, to reveal who is patronising whom”, he said.
Also, Pawan breathed fire on R Krishnayya of BC Welfare Association as well for expressing some unpleasant remarks on 5% Kapu reservation announced by Chandrababu government. “When R Krishnayya supported TDP during previous election times, the party mentioned in its manifesto alone about reservation to Kapus. If you’re genuine, you should have expressed displeasure then itself”, he remarked.
In a way, Pawan’s yaatra continued with fireworks as usual but this time pulled many names into it. We have to see how the opponents will respond.
New Twist in Vishal’s nomination for by-poll
While everyone thought that actor Vishal Reddy had a tragic end after Tamil Nadu State Election Commission denied his nomination for RK Nagar by-poll after the two proposals who signature on nomination papers was declared as ‘forged’, the actor is given another opportunity to produce those two proposers before EC by 3PM today. The biggest twist is here, read on.
Soon after media reported the news, Vishal tried to contact his proposals Dheepan and Sumathi, but ‘they are not traceable’. The actor took to twitter and posted, ‘I’m very much worried about their safety & security… Whether I Win or Lose, Democracy truly Lost !!’
Ever since former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha passed away last year, the events in state are full of twists and turns. And money flood in RK Nagar by-poll, Vishal’s nomination being denied and now kidnapping his proposers are few cases of bad politics in Tamil Nadu. Now, if Vishal can’t get them (the two proposers) to Election Commission, his nomination will be rejected by Election Commission.
On other day, Vishal wrote a public post (on his Twitter page) to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Kovind seeking the justice. He said, ‘I am Vishal, I hope u r aware of wats happening in the RK Nagar Election process in Chennai. My nomination was accepted & later rejected. Totally unfair. I bring this to your notice & I hope justice prevails’.
#Polavaram – Pawan Poses Questions To Babu
Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan has put a bunch of questions before Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on the controversial Polavaram.
Pawan visited the project and inquired the officials progress in the works. He demanded Chandrababu to release a white paper on the execution of Polavaram project and the utilization of funds allocated by centre.
The Jana Sena leader wanted to know why the AP government escalated the project cost without proper estimations. The rehabilitation for displaced from the project site should also be made public.
He came to know that irregularities took place in the project construction and the AP government should also come clean on the particular issue. He was neither supporter of TDP nor BJP led governments, Pawan said he will stand by only people and their plights.
The Jana Sena leader made it clear that he will visit Polavaram regularly and interact with affected people and fight for good compensation for them.
