SHOCKING: Kajal Aggarwal faces a ‘Big Trouble’ due to a Lead Actor
It was announced that Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja might be starring soon in the official Telugu remake of Tamil hit Bogan that starred Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy in its original version. While SJ Surya and Catherine Tresa were roped in to reprise Arvind Swamy and Hansika Motwani’s Roles in the Telugu version, the project has faced a huge blow.
Reportedly, Ravi Teja has walked out of the project now, as he had given his nod for a project directed by KS Ravindra aka Bobby, who gave the recent flick Jai Lava Kusa and had previously worked with Ravi Teja in Power. Inside sources state that Ravi Teja wants producer Ram Talluri to Produce Bobby’s film instead of the bogan Remake.
This sudden change of mind of the Mass Maharaja has hugely impacted the director Lakshman who was set to make his Telugu debut with this project, which was originally helmed by him in Tamil. The Director opines that the actor has exited the project post the grand success of his comeback flick Raja the Great by Anil Ravipudi. It is to be seen if Bogan remake materializes with a different hero or if the project will be shelved.
Now, Kajal Aggarwal who had high hopes is also disappointed. She is yet to sign her new project as she kept high hopes on this venture. It should be noted that Kajal replaced Catherine Tresa at the last second. Now, Kajal herself is annoyed for signing the movie and trusting Ravi Teja.

Telangana Cong to follow YSRC?
The decision taken by the YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to boycott the assembly sessions till all the 21 defected MLAs are disqualified seems to have inspired the Congress party in Telangana. The Congress Legislature Party is understood to be contemplating boycott of the ongoing Telangana assembly session in protest against the high-handed behaviour of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
“We have not been getting any opportunity to speak in the assembly. When we try to raise any crucial issue, our microphones are being disconnected. When we try to lodge protest, we are being suspended,” the Congress MLAs lamented. In an informal discussion with media after the assembly hours, some of the Congress MLAs said they were wondering whether there was any use of attending the assembly when they were not getting any opportunity to raise their voice.
“It is better to follow the YSRC strategy in Andhra Pradesh assembly. We can boycott the assembly in protest,” they opined.Well, that is what chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is aiming at. He does not want any opposition to his decisions but wants to see that only the government version goes into the people!

Telugu Distributors Anxious Over 2.0 Release
With contradictory reports coming from Chennai about the release date of Rajinikanth’s magnum opus “2.0”, Narayan Das Narang of Asian Cinemas is under pressure. He bought the Telugu version’s theatrical rights for a whopping Rs 81 cr and paid a handsome advance to the production house Lyca.It has already been reported through media that the film’s release might happen in April 2018 owing to the delay in completing 3D graphic work.
Even Rajinikanth gave a vague answer when asked about the movie’s release. “2.0 would release before Kaala (Rajinikanth’s other movie),” he replied, without giving any particular date. This has put all the distributors under stress. More worried are Narayana Das Narang and Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas who bought the theatrical rights for AP and Telangana.
With increased pressure from distributors, Lyca production house is giving out stories through media that the release date will not be delayed.Fresh reports suggest that “2.0” will hit the screens on January 25, 2018, as announced earlier. But these reports are from the media persons and no official statement has been made by the production house.
Of late, Tamil movie industry biggies are keeping everyone guessing without sticking to one particular date. While Bollywood and Tollywood movies are planned well in advance, Tamil producers constantly change the dates.
What Have You Done These Three Years?
Revanth Reddy is now part of the Congress Party which means he will have the strength of the ‘Grand Old Party’ behind him, in taking on KCR.Unlike in Andhra Pradesh where the Congress has been decimated, in Telangana there is no such anti-Congress feeling. The only drawback has been the lack of a charismatic leader who can attract the masses.Having said that, the Congress is notorious for its ‘infighting culture’, with every second MLA harboring hopes of becoming the CM. Naturally, the entry of Revanth Reddy will cause insecurity to those in the Party.
Recently, a group of T-Congressmen met Rahul Gandhi and advised him against admitting Revanth into the Party. To this, Rahul Gandhi is believed to have pulled them up and also questioned them on what they had done during the last three years. “Our objective is to form the government in Telangana. Despite having given Telangana, there is no goodwill for us and the situation remains the same even after three years.
Revanth has consistently been taking on KCR. What have you done for the Party in these three years that would make up for not admitting Revanth into the party?” thundered Rahul Gandhi.
Megastar Compliments Rajasekhar
Till a few years ago, all was not well between Rajasekhar and megastar Chiranjeevi as Rajasekhar made several nasty remarks against Chiru. When Chiranjeevi launched his political outfit Praja Rajyam, Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha who were in Congress Party then made personal attacks on him.
Now the couple are in Bharatiya Janatha Party and Chiranjeevi is in Congress. Seems relations between megastar and Rajasekhar have undergone a change.Once known as ‘angry youngman’, Dr Rajasekhar is testing his luck as lead hero with “PSV Garuda Vega” that is hitting the screens this weekend.
Surprisingly, megastar Chiranjeevi is said to have called this ageing angry man and congratulated him on coming up with a promising film. Megastar apparently liked the trailer of the movie.Chiranjeevi also made a comeback this year with “Khaidi No 150” successfully. Will Rajasekhar get the same result?
‘Talking About My Remuneration Is Not Exciting For Me’
Actress Deepika Padukone on Tuesday sought to brush away the matter of her remuneration for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmavati”, which is reportedly more than co-stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, saying she was “comfortable” with what she got.”Talking about my remuneration is not exciting for me. I am confident and comfortable with what I am paid,” she said at the 3D version trailer launch of the upcoming film.
“But let me tell you something and this is something I am really proud of is the fact that people like them (co-producer Viacom and director Bhansali) have invested this kind of money on a film like this and poster like this…that for me is hugely encouraging… this is the biggest film that Indian cinema has seen not in just terms of scale but in terms of budget and resources, and what is the poster behind it? For me that is the turning point for Indian cinema,” she added.
About the uni-brow looks her character Rani Padmini sports in the film, Deepika said she feels women are conditioned to think of beauty in certain way.”Women have been conditioned to think of beauty in a certain way and I am glad with what we did with ‘Padmavati’ and my look. It takes immense amount of belief, not just for me but for my director as well, to take that risk.”Padmini’s beauty is beyond physical beauty. It is her soul, spirit and what she meant to her people. She is worshipped.”Deepika also said that the role was extremely challenging and different than Mastani in “Bajirao Mastani”.
“Her (Rani Padmini’s) battles were very different. Her power and energy is very different. She doesn’t go out to battle field. She doesn’t have a sword or armour, here the spirit is similar.”Her purity, intensity and values, are very relatable and identifiable, yet not in a literal sense. And for an actor, I found that even more difficult,” she said.”With Mastani, if I have to show a warrior princess, it is easier for me to have a sword, get a battle field, do horse-riding, and show exactly going to war is actually like.
“But how do you fight so much more than just a war? You’re standing up for your tradition, culture, heritage, passion and love, there is so much that is going on, how do you stand up for all that, just by emoting without any tools. That is what I found extremely challenging for me, with Padmavati,” she added. On the tussle with Karni Sena and the recent Rangoli incident, Deepika said: “Whatever I had to say, I said it. Whatever was supposed to happen has happened! Like I always say, now nothing and no one can stop this film.”
Rahul Accepts Revanth’s Big Demand
With the joining of Revanth Reddy, Telangana Congress is set to undergo big makeover. The party leadership is likely to change from at all levels as Revanth and his supporters would get prominent posts in the party mainly in the state and district committees.
The party high comment assured Revanth of the allotment nearly 20 assembly constituencies and five Lok Sabha seats to the former TDP leader’s close aides who joined Congress. Sources said that Revanth was also promised to get a key post in Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC). Since he already enjoyed the working President post in TDP, Revanth is aspired for the equal post in Congress also. It is learnt that AICC made promise to give Working President post in Telangana Congress. Before that, he may be given in-charge of party campaign committee.
Revanth will be elevated to a top post in Congress but with a condition he should create confidence to the AICC that the party will come to power under his leadership in 2019 elections. All the TPCC leaders including President N Uttam Kumar Reddy were also put targets to strengthen the Congress. Those who succeeded would only survive and enjoy the top posts.
The TDP leaders who joined along with Revanth will be accommodated in some party posts and utilize their expertise in consolidating the party in the districts.
