TRS ‘Reddy’ Leaders Plan to Join Congress?
Amidst the ongoing rumors of Telangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy likely to join the Congress party, an interesting buzz has started in TRS party circles. It is heard that the Reddy community leaders in the ruling TRS party are mulling to jointly defect to the Congress party.
Widely circulating reports suggest that Reddy community leaders are unhappy with TRS Chief and CM KCR’s functionality, and his alleged partiality towards them. They feel powerless, deliberately sidelined and ignored despite being a part of ruling party. They resent at the manner in which TRS high command is treating them. Feeling that being in TRS will forever hinder their political growth, they are reportedly looking for an alternative.
It is heard that Reddy leaders in TRS have decided to make a mass defection to the Congress and strengthen that party in Telangana, thus make it an alternative force to TRS. They hope to make a move when Revanth Reddy and his supporters join Congress. For now, no TRS Reddy leader has yet spoken out on this but reports suggest that behind-the-curtains discussions are being held
Law Students’ Rs.1 Cr Challenge to Mersal Makers
Ever since its release, Tamil film ‘Mersal’ has been landing in controversies one after the other. We have so far heard reports of BJP leaders lambasting the film over ‘false’ information on GST, doctors calling for boycott of the film citing they were shown in poor light in the film, Certain Hindu community leaders targeting Vijay claiming he demeaned their religion etc.
Now, a section of law students in Tamil Nadu have filed a case and thrown a challenge to the makers of Mersal. Referring to a dialogue from ‘Mersal’ which says ‘medical care is free in Singapore’, they offered Vijay and producers Rs 1 Cr if they can prove what they said in the film. In a petition submitted to the police, they said, if makers fail to do so, they have to pay the same amount for giving wrong information to the public through their film. They say the film was inciting people against the govt. by giving false information.
They also objected to certain portions of the film including the suggestion for the construction of a hospital instead of a temple, and an actor entering a temple with footwear on, and asked the police to register a case against Vijay and the producers for hurting the sentiments of Hindus as well as giving false information to public.

Hansika Reacts On Cheap Comments Of Khan
If someone is going to insult South Film Industry, then many south heroes and heroines might remain silent, but not Hansika Motwani. Though she hails from Mumbai and worked as a child artist in Bollywood, this chubby girl finds pride calling herself as south heroine and makes sure that her industry will not get brickbats from others.
Other day, TV actress Hina Khan, who has been the lead in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai serial for years, has made disgusting comments on South industries. Reacting on the same, Hansika took to Twitter to lash out for that unjustifiable rubbish put out by the TV starlet.
“What is this suppose to even mean? How can she even degrade south industry like this? #shamehinakhan. Doesn’t she know a lot of Bollywood actors hv worked & are working in the our south industry ! Shame on you #hinakhan for trying 2demean us”, tweeted Hansika, venting her anger at the dark comments.
Shankar’s Magic? Or Poster Designer’s Talent?
Superstar Rajinikanth prefers to be simple when he is out from the shoot. The 66-year old actor is all set with his next movie 2.0 which is touted to be the costliest film ever made in the history of Indian cinema. Today the grand audio launch will take place in the middle-east city of Dubai where AR Rahman will perform live.
What stunned everyone is the paper-ad of “2 Point O” today, which gave the first look of Rajni, Amy and Akshay from the film. While Rajni looks extremely young in these posters, Amy looks little older than him and Akshay looks much older. While British hottie Amy Jackson is 31-years old, Akshay has touched 50 recently and Rajnikanth is 66-years-old. But inside the posters, they are looking quite reverse in terms of their age.
Needless to say, all the three characters are extremely magical in the released looks. Shankar’s sheer magic on Rajinikanth worked big time we have to say. Or this is a good work of poster designers who have created stunning artwork to bring terrific impact for the film?
Revanth Is Back With A Bomb On KCR Family
Although KCR is quite confident of pulling of the ongoing Assembly session quite easily, Fire Brand Revanth Reddy seems to be not going to make it easy for the ruling TRS. Revanth has raked up the issue of drugs abusing in the new state of Telangana as part of the Question Hour.
Speaking to media soon after the Assembly is adjourned to Monday – without discussing Revanth’s question over drug abuse, Revanth has fired on the Chief Minister. Alleging that KCR’s son & IT Minister KTR is involved in this, Revanth alleged that several of their relatives were making “money” on this.
Challenging CM KCR and Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy that he is ready to give his blood sample, hair sample and nail sample and even ready to appear before SIT for any sort of investigation, Revanth shot back by demanding that whether KTR should also provide his blood sample for the test.
Revanth didn’t stop. He questioned the inaction over the “supply” of drugs at various leading schools, colleges. “Allegations are that drugs are being used by a few students in the school where KCR’s grandson is studying,” said Revanth saying that several TRS leaders close to CM are behind this.
Revanth didn’t even stop Sensation event that held in Hyderabad’s Hitex. “TDP government has built Hitex for good deeds that would be useful to people. It was not meant to conduct such events that cause drug abuse, women abuse. What is more irony is 5000 police personnel were deployed then for the protection of the event. Hyderabad Commissionerate and KTR have tweeted welcoming the event. The tickets of the event were sold by KTR’s brother-in-law Raj Pakala. KCR’s relatives and family members were behind this.”
“If you want to make money, don’t make kids as victims. Anyways you’re looting money in projects. KCR, please give share in that looted money to your relatives,” said Revanth making serious allegations.
He even challenged CM to put cases against him and put him behind the bars if he could.
#Biggboss: Khan Makes Cheap Comments on South Heroines
Making cheap comments on Southern film industry has become a fashion or shall we say, an easy way to make it to headlines for Bollywood celebs. In the recent times, we have seen the likes of Radhika Apte, Taapsee and a few others commenting on South directors and actors. Afresh, Hindi Bigg Boss contestant Hina Khan has made some controversial comments on south heroines.
Hina Khan is a popular Indian television actress who has become one of the top contenders in Bigg Boss 11 thanks to the fake melodrama and controversies she creates in the house. It can’t be said whether she was instructed by the organizers or it was a voluntary act, she nonetheless commented that heroines who work in south films are asked to put on weight as cine goers there like chubby heroines. She added that heroines are asked to bulge up and gyrate in sarees.
The popular TV actress further said that she was offered two big films from South but she rejected both of them owing to the aforementioned apprehensions about working in South films. She hinted that one of the two rejected films is SVSC by divulging that it starred Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh.
Hina’s comments have not gone well with Southern film fraternity. From fans to celebs, including Hansika have rebuked Khan for her demeaning comments.
‘Baahubali’ Stars to Host 2.0 Audio Event
When the makers of Superstar Rajinikanth’s “2.0” are reportedly splurging about Rs 20 Cr on the audio launch event, which is being touted as the biggest event for any Indian movie thus far, how can they not have hosts who can add stardom to such a mammoth event. Reports suggest that two “Baahubali” stars have been roped in to host the event.
‘Bhallala Deva’ of “Baahubali”, Rana Daggubati will do the honors for the Telugu version, while ace Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, who took “Baahubali” to North India, will host the Hindi version of the audio launch event. KJo has earlier hosted the first look launch event of “2.0” held in Mumbai as well, but this is the first association of Rana, who has hosted the IIFA Awards event earlier this year, with the Rajini starrer.
The Tamil version of audio launch vent will be hosted by RJ Balaji, they didn’t go for any star host for Tamil version as the presence of Rajini will itself delver the goods. The entire principle cast and crew of 2.0 have already landed in Dubai, which is covered with the colorful posters of 2.0. AR Rahman, who has composed the music, will be performing live on the stage.

One to One meeting: Babu Rejects Revanth’s Request?
TTDP MLA Revanth Reddy’s hopes of having a personal meet with party chief Chandrababu Naidu were dashed to the ground on Friday when the latter refused to met him personally.
On Friday morning, Revanth Reddy went to Lake View guest house in Hyderabad to meet Babu upon being summoned. As soon as he entered the meeting room, Revanth Reddy asked Babu to give him some personal time so that he explains the situation. Babu however refused Reddy’s request, and reportedly asked him to tell whatever he wants in front of the party leaders in attendance.
With no other option left, Revanth Reddy reportedly tried to defend his actions over the past few days. At the meeting, party leaders flooded him with questions such as why he had met Rahul Gandhi in Delhi, why he had made objectionable comments on AP TDP leaders etc.
Babu on the other hand conveyed that he wouldn’t tolerate if anyone resorts to undisciplined actions which eventually create panic and confusion among party cadres. His decision on Revanth Reddy’s future in TDP is awaited a
