Star heroine Shruti Haasan is not accepting any big offers right now in film industries down south. While her last Telugu release is Katamarayudu in 2017, she’s picking only one Telugu film per year from last three years. While she is committed to wrapping any pending assignments, she is also putting on weight heavily.

It’s raining biopics on Sr NTR. After Balakrishna Nandamuri and Ram Gopal Varma announced separate biopics on NTR, a third film on the legendary film and political figure has been just announced.

Tamil Nadu-based senior Telugu filmmaker Kethireddy Jagadeeshwar Reddy, who currently serves as the President of an organization named Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuva Shakthi, has announced that he would direct a biopic on NTR, with the title – Lakshmi’s Veera Grantham. He divulged that he had approached senior actress Vani Vishwanath to essay a prominent role in the film.

He said that all the characters in NTR’s personal life will be showcased in his film. He further said that several crucial episodes in NTR’s life, including Lakshmi Parvathi marrying Veeragandham Subbarao in her second marriage, and later leaving him for NTR will also be showcased in the biopic.

Reddy said that the regular shooting will commence from November in Tirupathi and that he will release the film in January next year. He said that he was returning to direction after 10 years only out of his love for NTR, and in his bid to showcase his authentic biopic to people.

This film is the 3rd biopic to be announced but it may be the first one to hit screens.

Not long ago Samantha has stated that they don’t have any plans of honeymoon and specifically to visit Central Park in New York, the USA where the climax of Ye Maya Chesave was shot.
