Nagarjuna Akkineni who maintain his composure at all times, has elaborately explained about the moment during which he couldn’t control his emotions. He felt this pleasant helplessness during the Christian wedding of his son Naga Chaitanya with Samantha.

“During Chaitu’s wedding, a bundle of emotions were running inside me, I can’t really put them into words. It was a blank moment for me when Chaitu tied Mangal sutra around Samantha’s neck. The Christian style wedding was much more dramatic. Both the bride and groom have to tell the guests why they are marrying that particular person. I loved the way the duo talked.

Chaitu said it all in just one sentence – ‘I had everything but I was still incomplete. Samantha made me complete’. Sam on the other hand spoke for five minutes about Chaitu. During her speech, she was full of emotions, and her endearing words introduced a new Chaitu to me. They were all small details but they touched my heart.

Only at the end of her speech I realized that tears were rolling out from my eyes. When I looked back, everyone had tears in their eyes. It may sound like an emotional scene from a film but it was all real,” Nag reportedly told in an interview.

Even the expressions like ‘too much’ is sounding very small before this act of some Tamilnadu doctors who have started protesting against a star hero’s movie. Vijay’s latest movie “Mersal” opened to big numbers at the box office, but the whole concept of dealing with ‘corporate medical system’ inside the film hasn’t fared well with the white-coats.

Apparently, Doctors in Tamilnadu have started boycotting the movie as Vijay through director Atlee’s story showed them in poor light. A report published by a leading news daily confirmed that the Doctors Associaton of Tamilnadu has decided to neither compliant about the movie to court nor approach media houses. They feel that such step would give more publicity to the film.

However, in a shocking move, these doctors have decided to share the piracy links of the film on social media pages and they are asking each and every doctor to do the same. Some doctors have defended this movie saying that this will surely make a dent in the collections and producers will understand the anger of doctors then. With Vijay taking hard-hitting dialogues at Corporate Hospitals, saying that they are making only money, Tamilnadu Doctors are now busy winning the support of many other medical associations to take collective action on Mersal.

If there is any problem with Vijay’s movie, then the best way is to approach the court and that will be quite legal. But sharing links of piracy print is a crime, illegal and could even win a jail term. Doctors, are you reading?

Calling himself a critic and filmmaker, Kamal R Khan has been in news for his witty and unusual tweets on twitter which irked many celebrities and filmmakers across the country.

He had a huge tiff with many Bollywood actresses and in a surprising move, twitter suspended Kamal R Khan’s account. This turned out to be a tight slap for the critic and the social media platform has been widely appreciated for the move.

However Kamal R Khan issued a statement that he is not in a mood to re-open any new account on twitter and he said that it was Aamir Khan who made twitter suspend his account. In a statement, Kamal R Khan revealed that he posted a negative review of Aamir’s latest movie Secret Superstar because of which his account has been kept on hold.

Kamal R Khan even revealed that he would initiate legal proceedings on twitter in this issue.

SJ Surya is recognized as one of the top directors of Southern film industry as he has directed big stars like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Ajith, Vijay etc. and scored some huge blockbusters. With such critical acclaim under his belt, SJ Surya is expected to become a most wanted villain in Telugu too.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu turned Samantha Akkineni recently after she got married to young actor Naga Chaitanya. With no regrets, the duo got their blessings from their wedding after which the preparations are on.

However a section of media has been speculating that Samatha’s parents are not quite happy for her to marry Chaitu and this is the reason most of her close relatives have not been seen in her wedding. It may be a surprise, but my parents are not aware that I am a big actress in South Indian cinema. She further added, “My parents knew that Chaitu is my best friend and they are well aware that I am in safe hands. They are quite happy that I am getting to my best friend and turning out the daughter-in-law of the great Akkinenis“.

After an emotional and a powerful outing – ‘Dangal’, which explored the burning issue of ‘women empowerment’, Aamir Khan is back with yet another film, ‘Secret Superstar’, which also falls in the same genre. This time however Aamir falls just short of recreating the magic of ‘Dangal’ or for that matter, ‘Taare Zameer Par’.

‘Secret Superstar’ is not an Aamir’s film but of an ambitious and repressed teenage girl’s. She aspires to become a singer but her father, who treats his son as a child and girl as a liability, is the bitter-most deterrent for her dreams. How this underdog achieves her dream with the unexpected help of an eccentric music director, played by Aamir is a predictable yet heard-warming story.

Aamir Khan plays Bollywood music director, Shakti Kumaarr, who is obnoxious, self-centred and someone who composes unintentionally funny songs. Aamir’s comic timing and cheesy attitude is one of the film’s assets. Zaira Wasim, who won a national award for her stunning performance as young Geeta in ‘Dangal’, gives another credible performance as the lead actor in ‘Secret Superstar’. Great performances from all the actors aside, the film has bundle of emotions but it also tries to manipulate audiences with fairytalish melodrama.

On the whole, Secret Superstar aims to become an unparalleled ‘Taare Zameen Par’ but falls short by good distance. The film nevertheless is a recommended watch for brand Aamir and the sensible subject it deals with.

The Bachchans’ had a low-key Diwali celebration this year – it was a family-only affair at Jalsa with a simple puja on Thursday evening, glimpses of which are on Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter.

Amitabh Bachchan was seen clad in a pink and grey kurta with white pyjama, Abhishek looked dapper in a royal blue kurta, Aishwarya’s attire complemented that of her hubby’s, Jaya Bachchan was seen clad in an off-white saree and Aaradhya looked adorable in an off-white lehenga.

The Bachchans’ abstained from grand Diwali celebrations this year because of the death of a family member earlier this year – Aishwarya’s father Krishna Raj Rai died in February.

No actor can beat Aamir Khan’s choosy ways when it comes to saying yes to a script. While promoting his latest film, Secret Superstar, Aamir made yet another shocking revelation about one of the biggest releases of 2018.

Aamir Khan said, “There’s a film coming robot, 2.0, I am a big fan of Shankar and I am big fan of Rajini ji. In fact, Shankar has offered me that film. Super duper Hit hai. It’s a blockbuster film. It’s going to break all records. That’s what I feel.”

When asked if he was offered the same script, he said yes but then he took us by surprise when he revealed, he was not offered Akshay Kumar’s role but Rajinikanth’s role! Yes that’s true!

“Rajini sir himself feeling that he wasn’t well so he told Shankar, please request Aamir. Rajini Sir called me up and said – Please do the film.” stated the actor in an interview.

So why did Aamir Khan reject 2.0, a film he is already calling a blockbuster?

“It’s a superb script and it’s going to do very well but whenever I used to shut my eyes, I used to see Rajini sir in that role. I could not see myself. Mere se emotionally Nahi ho raha tha.

“Emotionally, when I used to think of the film, think of the scene, Rajini sir used to come in my head. I could not imagine myself doing it. Then I told Shankar, won’t be able to do it. Only Rajini sir can do it. He is irreplaceable.

“At least I will not be able to do it. I can only imagine Rajini sir in this. See, he had also done the first part, I had seen the first part and I loved it. I am huge fan of Rajini sir, his whole performance and the way he had created that character had got imprinted in my mind.

“So Part 2, when I am reading the lines, I am only imagining Rajini sir! I cannot imagine myself only so I didn’t do it. and it’s not a tough decision for me. I know it’s going to be the biggest hit in all languages.”
