Akkineni Nagarjuna has been working without breaks. His recent outing Raju Gari Gadhi 2 released recently and it collected decent money in its first week. Now he will go ahead for a vacation and before he hinted about his next as well, with Ram Gopal Varma which will start rolling soon.

In a post-release chit chat, Nag stated that he wanted to come out with an action entertainer for his next and at the right time Varma narrated a stylish action entertainer. Ram Gopal Varma is currently working on the script and Nag is said to take a call on this project soon. Here is what worries people now.

No doubt, Varma is the debutant who gave a game-changing movie like Shiva that defined Tollywood to a new height. And Nagarjuna’s career also took a stunning turn post this terrific movie. But, in the recent times, all of Varma’s action films have flopped at box office. Neither had they impressed with the content, nor with action sequences. They are plagued with lack of visual appeal and interesting screenplay.

In this context, where Nagarjuna’s action entertainers are also not clicking these days, can we believe that Varma is gonna make a stylish action entertainer with his Shiva?

After impressing the critics as well as audience and scoring a huge blockbuster with ‘Arjun Reddy’, young sensation Vijay Devarakonda is busy with a handful of films. On the eve of Diwali festival, the makers of one of this upcoming films have announced the film’s title, and it is quite catchy.

Titled ‘Ye Manthram Vesave’, the film is said to be a sensible love story, unlike ‘Arjun Reddy’, which was a bold and path-breaking romantic drama. The title is very catchy, which is a lyric from a super hit Telugu song. The actor is likely to showcase his subtle side in the film. Shivani is playing Devarakonda’s love interest in the film. Shridhar Marri is the director.

Vijay has three more films in various stages of production.

‘Ye Maya Chesave’ turns out to be first ever hit for both Naga Chaitanya and Samantha who have done a couple of films earlier. When the 50 days run of that film is celebrated, late Akkineni Nageswara Rao has attended as a guest.

We hear that ANR has appreciated newcomer Samantha Ruth Prabhu in private, at that function. At that time ANR has reportedly said to Samantha, “I’ll give 51% to your acting and 49% to Naga Chaitanya’s acting skills”. Not stopping there, the late legendary actor also showered another stunning compliment at the very beginning stage of Samantha’s career in Tollywood.

“Samantha has soft and lighter skin like a Savitri. We could notice her expressions not just in eyes, but also in her skin” said ANR, to a group of listeners including Samantha, Nagarjuna, and Chay. Other day while promoting Raju Gari Gadhi2 post the release, the mama and kodalu recalled that talk of ANR once again, explaining how the first ever Akkineni praised Sam’s acting skills.

Speaking about it, Samantha further said, “I never pay heed to any compliments, but this one by ANR garu will live with me forever”.

Ravi Teja’s “Raja The Great” is showing indications of a blockbuster as the second day collections were better than or at least on par with the first day’s in many circuits. The Diwali holiday has helped the film pull off this remarkable consistency. Only a very few films could hold ground so well.

After raking in over Rs 10 Cr worldwide gross on Day 1, Raja The Great amassed nearly Rs 9 Cr on Day 2 to take its 2 days worldwide gross to Rs 19 Cr. Several theatres are reportedly being added across the Telugu states as the film is performing well and also that the weekend advantage is still in offing.

As per trade reports, the film collected 4.4 Cr share on day 2, and took its 2 days total share to 9.44 Cr in the Telugu states.
