Maruthi’s Story Made Chaitu reject Samantha?
Young actor Naga Chaitanya is running in his best phase in his career. He scored two decent hits with Premam and Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam recently and he is all set to get married to his lady love Samantha.
The actor gave nod for a story narrated by young director Maruthi and the movie is expected to start rolling from December this year. Maruthi will be penning the final draft after which the regular shoot will commence. The update is that Maruthi wanted Samantha on board for the female lead.
This untitled romantic entertainer discusses about post-marriage egos and it was Chaitu who did not want Samantha on board, says some reports. He straightaway rejected Samantha for the film and the makers are currently in search for the female lead.
Suryadevara Naga Vamshi is bankrolling this new project which has been aimed for summer release next year.
A Record Unworthy of Celebrations
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s SPYder had set up a few pre-release records in terms of business and wide release. The film was expected to create numerous box office records but the disastrous performance started right from day one. Nonetheless, the film has now helped Mahesh create a new record in US. The question is, is it really worthy of celebration?
By crossing USD 1.5 million at US box office, SPYder has become the 4th film starring Mahesh after Dookudu, SVSC and Srimanthudu to enter the USD 1.5 million club. No other hero has as many films in this club, with NTR being the close second with 3 films.
While fans of Mahesh are calling him ‘King of Overseas BO’ referring to this feat, trade analysts say the feat is no big deal for a film which raked in USD 1 million from premieres itself. They point out that even ‘Aagadu’, which raked in just over 500K from premiers, collected almost USD 1.5 million in full run. ‘When compared to ‘Fidaa’ and ‘Arjun Reddy’, which had relatively lesser popular heroes, where does SPYder stands in US?, questioned a rational movie goer.
Going by the measly amounts SPYder is raking in at US box office, trade predicts the film to go down as one of the biggest loss-incurring films in overseas.

Ever since Baahubali happened, Prabhas has become a Celebrity among Celebrities. Afresh, he has bowled over Indian Badminton champ Saina Nehwal with his humility.
Saina, who claims to be a fan of Prabhas, met the Baahubali star on Thursday on the sets of Saaho in Hyderabad, and she shared the selfie taken with him on her social media pages. While Prabhas keeps his usual royal demeanor, Saina looks quite excited and jubilant to have met her favorite star hero.

Viral Pic: Radhe Maa Gets VVIP Treatment in Police Station
Radhe Maa, the self-proclaimed godwoman is back into headlines and this time, by ridiculing the police department in the eyes of public.
The Station house officer (SHO) of a police station in Delhi was reportedly taken off duty soon after his photo with Radhe Maa seated in his office chair had gone viral on Thursday. In the picture, the on-duty SHO was seen standing in his office, next to the notorious godwoman with folded hands and a red stole hanging around his neck.
Taking a serious note of the issue, the Delhi Police have initiated an inquiry against the SHO, two assistant sub-inspectors, a head constable and two constables in this regard.
The SHO said in his defence that Radhe Maa, along with her followers, visited his police station only to use the toilet, and that she occupied his chair for just a few minutes. He added that he had folded his hands since she was a religious figure.

Another Indian Cricketer Sheds Bachelorhood
Joining the list of Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma, Team India fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has now shed his bachelorhood as he got engaged to his longtime girlfriend.
Reportedly, Bhuvi got engaged to an Engineering graduate, Nupur Nagar in a private ceremony on Wednesday in the presence of only family members and close friends. It has now come to light that Nupur’s family used to be the neighbors of Bhuvi and that she has been his childhood friend. She currently works as an engineer in an MNC in Delhi. Her father is a retired police officer.
Bhuvi’s father revealed that their families have known each other for a ling time, but the decision to convert their friendship into relationship was taken by his son and daughter-in-law-to-be. He added that they were planning to arrange the wedding in December this year.
Bhuvi’s father said that they are looking for dates which don’t clash with any of the cricket series of India so that all the Indian cricketers including skipper Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni grace the wedding ceremony.
Nag not satisfied at all?
King Nagarjuna is all set with his next outing Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and the movie is slated for October 13th release. The actor was quite keen of the VFX work in this horror thriller. He even revealed the news that he would dub for his role and wrap up his part only if he is completely impressed the graphics in the film.
Nag recently happened to watch Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and an inside source revealed that he is not completely convinced with the VFX work in the movie. Akkinenis failed to impress the audience with the film that are high on graphics.
Earlier movies like Damarukam and Akhil bombed at the box-office. Now Nagarjuna is said to have shifted his focus on Akhil’s second film Hello. He asked Vikram Kumar not to use graphics much and so a team of Hollywood stuntmen have been imported for the action episodes.
The film will have limited dose of VFX and Nagarjuna is quite keen on visual effects after a series of mistakes.
