Star Kids Picking Clubs, Thanks To Jr Megastar
All star kids out there in Tollywood are currently busy picking one particular hobby and that is nothing but owning some sports clubs. For this, they have to thank Megastar’s son and here is how it went.
Currently, we are witnessing even Akkineni Akhil getting his hands on a sporting event as he started promoting Hyderabad Football League. It’s heard that he’s both brand ambassador and also owns a team playing this league. This actor, however, has this habit of clicking pictures of his co-stars. But that doesn’t include any male actors, although he takes photographs of his heroines only. Though he never shoots any raunchy stuff, he makes sure to experiment with light and shade for the clicks of gorgeous girls. He has almost all the pictures of heroines he worked with in his mobile.
Whenever his wife runs a surfing through the photos on her husband’s phone, she feels upset, a little birdie tells us. His iPhone 6S is filled with pictures of many heroines rather than his wife’s photos. Besides, he keeps on sharing those pictures with the heroine who is present in them. And he enjoys the praises for his photography skills then.
Maybe as they say about Obsessive Compulsion Disorder, is this hero having any such disorder to click photographs of gorgeous girls? Young Indian bowler surprises with a hat-trick
Team India has been exceptional in the recent times and young boys lead by Virat Kohli seems to be in complete form. Young left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav surprised everyone with a hat-trick in the crucial second one-day international against Australia yesterday. He is the third Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in one-days. The match took place in Eden Gardens and India ended up victorious.
Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Matthew Wade, Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins during his eighth over of his spell. Earlier Chetan Sharma with New Zeeland and Kapil Dev with Srilanka achieved this rare feat in one-days. Before this Team India was restricted to 252 and Australia fell short in reaching the target after they ended up losing all the wickets for 202. India is leading 2-0 in the five one-day series.
Telugu actress’s boyfriend caught in Drink Drive
Tamil actor Jai impressed Kollywood after he scored back to back hits. He could not impress the Telugu audience but he is in love with Telugu actress Anjali from sometime. There are speculations that the duo is all set to tie knot soon. Jai has been in news for wrong reasons as he was caught driving under the influence of alcohol in Chennai.
The actor was caught speeding up on September 21st morning when his car hit Adyar flyover in the city. The actor was later released by bail and the cops booked him under section 185 for driving after he was drunk and in section 279 for rash driving. The actor partied in a star hotel in the city and he was on his way to his Indira Nagar residence. Comedian Premgi Amaran and other actors were with Jai while he hit the divider. This is the second time the actor was caught driving after drunk and the cops recommended to cancel his license.
Two Distributors Dictatorship In Nizam?
Gone are those days when there are ample number of distributors in Nizam area quoting reasonable prices from small to big films. Many of them have to move on to other businesses after facing huge loss in film distribution, leaving all the Nizam distribution in two producers’ hands.
One of famous producer, almost a ‘king’ in distribution business and the other is a distributor who got hold of almost 120 theatres in Nizam. Any movie that has be released in Nizam must go through these four hands. It is heard that these unofficial distributor duo is buying the rights as per their share of months and any rate they fix at one point is final.
Many producers who could not release a film on their own have no choice except to bend for these distributor duo’s fixed price. Earlier producers used to sell the rights on NRA system that gives maximum risk to distributor, but lately, the tables are turned and the distribution is going on with advance system, leaving producer at maximum risk, thanks to the two distributors.
Big ticket films and top producers are not any exception when it comes to Nizam distribution and the price fixed by these two distributors stays final anyway. Even if they want to release the film on their own, any other films distributed by these two will occupy all the theatres, which leaves the producers back at square one. The two distributors become super powers in Nizam distribution and we have to wait and see when this dictatorship ends!
Vikram pins all his hopes on Sketch
Chiyaan Vikram is undoubtedly one of the best actors our country has. He impressed the audience widely with his performance however none of his recent films ended up as commercial hits. The actor pinned all his hopes on Shankar’s ‘I’ and his efforts have been wasted as the film has been declared as a disaster. His recent outing Inkokkadu too did not change his fate and he pinned all his hopes on Sketch.
Directed by Vijay Chander, Tamannaah is the female lead in the movie which has been planned for release during December. The movie is said to be an action comedy which has been shooting from the past eight months.
Vikram decided not to do films based on characters and he signed an interesting action comedy with Sketch. He is said to be very confident on the film and is happy with the way it shaped out. He is even shooting for Gautam Menon’s Dhruva Nachatiram which is said to be a spy thriller.
We have to wait and see if both the films can make Vikram comeback to success streak. Vikram will be seen sporting never seen stylish looks in both the films.

Babu Choosing Rajamouli Is Perfect, Here is Why
If we ask Telugu people to name the best modern construction in Hyderabad city, 9 out of 10 people will say, ‘Cyber Towers’. Years have passed, governments have changed and the city has been with uncountable skyscrapers over the years, but Cyber Towers still stands tall as one of the iconic monuments of Hyderabad. And, the credit must be given to then united AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, and his tireless efforts and uncompromising nature. If he strives so much for setting up one iconic building in the then capital, just imagine how much efforts he must be putting in to build a word class capital for the truncated AP.
Instead of embracing his uncompromising nature, some people started making defamatory speculations ever since he had asked the renowned London-based architectural firm, Norman Fosters, to better the submitted designs. Taking potshots at his decision of including Rajamouli in the design team, these people have started questioning the qualification of the ‘Baahubali’ director and the real intention of the CM in bringing him on board.
The AP CM feels that the new capital city needs a design that gets absorbed into the hearts and souls of people of Andhra, a concept that reflects the hopes, wishes, future and culture of Telugu people. At this current juncture, he couldn’t find a better person than Rajamouli.
As we all know Rajamouli is the master of transforming a collection of thoughts and ideas into a great theme and conceptualize it such a way that never before and never after. He can look into the whole imaginary world with his extraordinary lens, he is someone who doesn’t leave a single detail in order to achieve perfection. He is exactly like Chandrababu Naidu who strives, struggles, dedicates his heart and soul to convert a vision into reality, which makes everyone speechless and spell bound when it gets completed.
Not every IAS officer or a minister or a CM is a good story teller. Not everyone can narrate well on what exactly they want. Sure they might have tons of ideas and proposals but they may not be able to sum it up as one ultimate concept. Chandrababu needed a person who can mould the ideas into a couple of frames or slides and explain them to the foreign architects who don’t know much of our legacy, and who are far from the thought of connecting to our nativity.
And that’s the reason Naidu brought Rajamouli into the picture. He wants the Baahubali director to act like a bridge between the authorities of AP and the Foreign architects to fill the gaps of communication and also by adding value with his innovative ideas and his experience. This will not make Rajamouli himself an architect like the critics are talking. As most of the designs are already in place, Rajamouli was asked only to make suggestions keeping the Telugu culture as well as the modern trends in mind. Hus inclusion in the team has already created buzz across the nation, something the new capital city exactly needs.
These people who are circulating speculations and calling Rajamouli as the ‘official consultant/supervisor’ etc. for Amaravati designs either don’t know how he can contribute and the exact task he was given or they are intentionally misleading people about his role so as to incite negativity among people against the govt.
Displeased with the speculations circulated by some people on his role in the Amaravati design process, Rajamouli has given an official clarification on social media. Hailing the designs submitted by Norman team as world class, Rajamouli said that he was asked by CM Chandrababu Naidu to convey his ideas to the team so as to better the already prepared designs.
Here is a piece of information for those who might not have not got convinced even after reading all this. Chandrababu’s Telangana counterpart KCR assigned the responsibility of developing Yadadrri temple design to Tollywood art director Anand Sai. He worked with temple priests to learn the historical background of the temple and based on that he came up with a design which was approved by the Telangana CM.
Will Modi declare Bharat Ratna for NTR?
The Telugu Desam Party leaders are on cloud nine to get a response from the Union Home Ministry that the Centre would consider conferring Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award of the country, on legendary actor and former chief minister N T Rama Rao.
The Centre has responded to a letter written by Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani seeking Bharat Ratna to late N T Rama Rao. The home ministry said the letter had been forwarded to Prime Minister’s Office.
“The recommendation will be deliberated upon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is considering the plea and will take appropriate decision. The Prime Minister recommends the names of awardees to the President,” the letter said.
Though it does not mean Modi will take a decision in NTR’s favour, but it is for the first time that there is at least some written communication from the Centre stating that the recommendation for Bharat Ratna for NTR was under consideration.
In the past, the state assembly passed a resolution to this effect and every year, the TDP’s meeting Mahanadu also passes resolutions, but it has never been acknowledged by the Centre.
Even during the UPA regime, NTR’s daughter and then Union minister Purandeshwari also could not do anything on giving Bharat Ratna to NTR posthumously.
But, it is not sure whether TDP president and AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will whole-heartedly put efforts to get Bharat Ratna for NTR, or whether it is yet another attempt to hoodwink the people before the elections.
Naidu knows that in the event of the Centre really declaring Bharat Ratna, the award would be presented to NTR’s widow Lakshmi Parvathi, since she is the legitimate successor. If that happens, the mileage will go to YSR Congress party since she is the member of the party!
Mahesh Still Retains Overseas Crown
Even though Superstar Mahesh Babu has only one successful film, Srimanthudu, in past few years, he still has his records in the US intact, and keeps the crown of the biggest crowd-puller here. Among the Top 10 films listed based on the Premieres gross, Mahesh has 3 films, the most for any hero.
As expected, ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ has taken the US box office by storm. The collections from premiere shows are very good but they couldn’t actually beat the existing records. As per reliable trade reports, ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ collected $560K from US premieres. The film has made it to the Top 10 but fell short of Janatha Garage ($580 – 5th place) and Sardaar Gabbar Singh ($620K – Top 4). Considering the film’s genre and the director’s track record, it is a huge achievement nonetheless.
Baahubali 2 ($2.4M), Baahubali ($1.3M)and Khaidi No.150 ($1.2M) are sitting pretty much comfortably occupying the Top 3 ranks in the Premieres list. In the Top 10, Mahesh has three films – Brahmotsavam, Srimanthudu and Aagadu, Pawan has two – Sardaar and Katamarayudu and NTR has two – Janatha Garage and Jai Lava Kusa.
As Mahesh’s highly anticipated SPYder is set to hit screens in four days, he is expected to have 4 films in Top 10 and also take the Top 2nd place pushing Baahubali and Khaidi behind. Pawan may also displace the top rankings in the table with his Sankranthi release, a Trivikram directorial.
Nag’s Special Condition for RGG 2 Makers
King Nagarjuna unveiled the theatrical trailer of his next movie Raju Gari Gadhi 2 today on the eve of his father late ANR’s birth anniversary. Nagarjuna has been quite open during his speech and informed that some of the episodes have been shot again as they did not like them. The actor is yet to dub for his role and he is waiting to watch the VFX work which will be completed in a couple of days.
“VFX work is being most focussed and I kept a condition to the makers to show me the final VFX work after which I will dub for my role. I am yet to watch it and will complete dubbing for the film soon. As it is a horror film, we need to rely on VFX work which is quite crucial for the film. I am quite happy about the contribution of all the actors and technicians for the film’ informed Nag.
Samantha plays a crucial role in Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and the theatrical trailer has been getting stupendous response. Raju Gari Gadhi 2 has been announced for October 13th release.
Pawan’s Ex Got a Hot Partner
Talented actress Adah Sharma impressed the Tollywood audience with her performance in films like S/O Satyamurthy, Subramnyam for Sale and Kshanam.
