Rally for Rivers is a nationwide awareness campaign to save our rivers. It aims to garner massive public support and momentum for the government to implement a positive river policy.

The simplest solution to rejuvenate India’s rivers is to maintain a minimum of one kilometer tree cover on riversides. Forest trees can be planted on government land and tree-based agriculture can be brought in on farm land.
This will ensure our rivers are fed throughout the year by the moist soil. This will also reduce floods, drought and soil loss, and increase farmers’ incomes.

Pre-release publicity turned out to be quite crucial for Telugu films. Even top Tollywood actors have been allotting a week for promoting their films so that they gain enough buzz before the release which helps the films get huge openings. The recent releases Yuddham Saranam and Meda Meeda Abbayi are the best examples if the pre-release promotions are ignored. Naga Chaitanya has been emerging as a minimum guarantee actor in Tollywood and his recent movies Premam, Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam are the best examples.
His recent film Yuddham Saranam lacked buzz as the makers completely ignored the promotions. There are talks that many film lovers did not know about the film’s release. The film suffered to get decent openings and the poor word of mouth pushed it into even more troubles. The same is the case with Allari Naresh’s Meda Meeda Abbayi. The film too received poor response from the audience and it has been declared as a debacle. The makers ignored promoting the film and Allari Naresh who has been waiting to bounce back is said to have wait for some more time as Meda Meeda Abbayi has been badly rejected.
Movies like Arjun Reddy and Nene Raju Nene Mantri had a flying start because of the strong promotion tactics. The pre-release promotions are helping the films get decent figures on board atleast during the first weekend despite of getting mixed response from the audience.
Mudragada Met Chowdary For Settlement!
‘Kapu crusader’ Mudragada Padmanabham might be pretending as he is fighting against the TDP government for Kapu reservations, but the truth that recently exposed is his ‘business interests’ with TDP leaders.
Allegedly, Mudragada along with Rajahmundry city MLA Akula Satyanarayana (TDP) have met Rajahmundry rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary at his house to deal a land settlement that was allegedly occupied by Mudragada’s son-in-law’s father, Barlapudi Ravindra Kumar.
Going into complete details, Mudragada’s son-in-law’s father Barlapudi Ravindra Kumar has allegedly tried to occupy the land of a young entrepreneur who is an NRI. While both parties are fighting over the land, local police stepped in finally with the intervention of rural MLA Buchiah Chowdary. Cops have filed an FIR (FIR no 273/2017). While the matter reached court and summons were issued to Mudragada party, the team felt the pressure and came to Buchiah Chowdary to personally resolve the issue.
Instead of letting the law take its own course, Mudragada & Co are allegedly bypassing the case by trying to put political pressure to settle the case privately. This is raising many doubts on Mudragada and his ‘sincerity’ for Kapu community.
Ironically the NRI entrepreneur is also from Kapu community and is an upcoming business person. In this process it is clear that Mudragada Padmanabham on one hand ‘using’ Kapu tag but when it comes to personal family the Kapu community things take a back seat.
It is learnt that local MLA Akula Satyanarayana is aiding Mudragada for reasons better known to them. If Mudragada padmanabham had to come personally to resolve the issue with Buchaiah Chowdary, one can imagine what could be at stake. It is buzzed that already the issue has reached the higher-ups in the TDP and even triggering tremors with in TDP.
Looks like, Mudragada’s ‘land settlement’ is expected to be a crucial topic in the upcoming general elections which are not long away.
Spyder And JLK Helping That Sick Guy
Failure of one film naturally leads to the success of other one at the box office in case if all of them are releasing at around same time. Going by the trend, every film needs massive pre-release publicity, and any lack of hype is surely going to help others in the race.
Currently, everyone is talking about Maruthi and Sharawanand’s “Mahanubhavudu” movie whose already released title song is making waves. Thanks to the Carnatic music tune Thaman has selected for the song, and it is an instant hit. Guess what, Mahanubhavadu is in Dasara race along with Jr NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa and Mahesh’s Spyder movies. Now that the audio of both NTR and Mahesh’s movies sounds pretty average, Sharwa might get an advantage.
Earlier Sharawa competed with Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 and Balayya’s Gautamiputra Satakarni during Sankranthi season and emerged as a winner. Though these two biggies also scored well, lack of family elements in them helped Satmanam Bhavati become a sensational hit. And now, it looks like Spyder is a serious spy thriller, while Jai Lava Kusa is a full pledged action movie. So there are chances for Mahanubhavudu to click for the comedy of this sick guy who’s suffering from Obsessive-compulsive disorder. And this enchanting music is only adding to it.
While JLK Is hitting cinemas on Septmeber 21st, Mahesh’s Spyder is coming on 27th, Sharwa’s Mahanubhavudu is slated for 29th release.
Suddenly, Nag Brothers Meet KCR
Telugu Film hero Nagarjuna and his elder brother Akkineni Venkat called on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the latter’s residence Pragathi Bhavan. They inquired the health condition of KCR as he underwent eye surgery in New Delhi two days ago.
Leaders said that Nagarjuna and KCR discussed the issue of the prospects of promotion of film industry in a big way in Hyderabad. The CM and the film hero exchanged the views on setting up of more number of film studious and promotion of graphic design industry which is gaining popularity worldwide recently.
KCR also discussed the arrangements being made for the marriage of Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya this month end in Goa.

If the first two singles of Mahanubhavudu are anything to go by, Thaman seems to be back with a bang. After an impressive traditional number ‘Mahanubhavudavera’, Thaman has rendered a peppy number ‘Kiss Me Baby’ that has receptive beat with synthesized backing track.
The funky song with party mode orchestration has struck a chord with youth instantly. As revealed by director Maruthi earlier, this is his favorite number in the album and was shot in the picturesque locales of Croatia.
While the first song is already a chart-buster, the new song is expected to be prime choice in parties, events and other rejoicing places. Featuring Sharwanand and Mehreen Kaur in the lead roles, the film is jointly produced by Pramod and Vamshi Krishna under UV Creations. The much awaited movie is all set to grace the theaters for Dussehra. If all goes well, the film would hit the cinemas on September 29.

Multistarrer Specialist to Direct Nag-Nani!
We have recently informed about the new multistarrer starring Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya in lead roles. Now, here comes an official confirmation on another crazy multistarrer.
Senior producer Ashwini Dutt, who has come back into active mode with ‘Mahanati’, has announced his plans of producing a multistarrer with Nagarjuna Akkineni and Natural star Nani in lead roles. Young director Sriram Aditya, who has made two interesting multistarrers – Bhale Manchi Roju and Shamanthakamani, will direct this film.
Dutt revealed to media that both Nag and Nani had already given their nod and that Aditya is giving finishing touches to the script. The film will have equal importance to both Nag and Nani’s characters, and it is likely to go on floors after the two actors are done with their current commitments.
It is known that both Nagarjuna and Nani are very choosy about their films. They are also noted for being good judges of scripts. A subject must be of superlative quality to have got the approval of both these actors. The expectations will obviously be high.
Nag is currently awaiting the release of ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’ whereas Nani is busy with the shooting of MCA and Krishnarjuna Yuddham.
