Superstar Mahesh Babu is making his Tamil debut with Spyder. AR Murugadoss took enough time to carve out this action thriller which is gearing up for Tamil release. Mahesh is keen on making a strong impact with his debut film and establish a decent market over there.

In this process, the Telugu audience have been completely ignored. There are talks that AR Murugadoss has been offered Tamil rights as his remuneration because of which he has been quite keen on promoting the film in Tamil.

The Telugu audio of the film too has been released in the Tamil event, which took place on September 9th. The tunes and the lyrics from the film have been laced with Tamil flavour. Telugu lyricist Ramajogaiah Sastry has been asked to translate the Tamil words in Telugu because of which Spyder telugu audio and lyrics received poor response.

SJ Suryah will be playing the lead antagonist who is not much popular across the Telugu circles. With Mahesh having Rs 100 crores market in Telugu has been ignored and he has been promoting the film for Rs 20 crore Tamil market which left many Telugu audience and Superstar fans in huge pain.

A grand pre-release event has been planned on September 15th in Hyderabad. Murugadoss has been leaving Mahesh in heaps of praises and is marketing the film completely in Tamil.

Stunning beauty Shriya Saran has been giving tough competition to young actresses even after crossing her thirties. The actress made her comeback with Gautamiputra Satakarni which released this year. She has been busy with multiple projects currently and she impressed with her role in Paisa Vasool recently.

The actress is playing an air hostess in her next film which has been titled Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayulu which is currently under shoot.

The makers released the first look of the actress from the film on the eve of her birthday. Her stunning makeover into an air hostess has been getting wide response from the audience. The actress suits well in the look. Nara Rohit, Sree Vishnu and Satyadev are the other lead actors in the film which is directed by Indrasena.

He compared NTR’s performance with an ocean and said that he managed to take a mug of water from the ocean while Koratala Siva managed to take a bucket.

Lavanya Tripathi is sure one among the talented actors of Telugu cinema. Despite of struggling during her initial days, the actress managed to impress the audience and score decent hits.

However none of her recent outings including Mister, Radha and Yuddham Saranam could impress the audience. Not just that, but under confusion, Lavanya Tripathi has now lost two interesting projects.

In fact, she was supposed to play the female lead in Vijay Devarakonda and Parasuram’s romantic entertainer which is to be produced by Geetha Arts. At the same time she is approached for the Tamil remake of 100% Love too.

There has been a slight clash in her dates after which 100% Love Tamil director Chandramouli reportedly called Bunny Vaas to inform that Lavanya’s dates might cause trouble and she’s thinking about walking out of Parasuram’s project.

A miffed Bunny Vaas managed to rope in Rashmika Mandanna in place of Lavanya Tripathi, say reports. Angered by this move, Lavanya Tripathi even walked out of the Tamil remake of 100% Love also. That’s a poor move.

With just a small confusion, the actress lost two interesting projects. Currently she is shooting for Ram’s Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi which has been aimed for October release.

Continuing its dream run at the US box office, ‘Arjun Reddy’ has now officially overtaken Balakrishna Nandamuri’s “Gautamiputra Satakarni” to emerge the 4th highest grosser of 2017 and stands at All Time 10th position in the US. Overall Gross as of now is $1,666,000, according to the film’s US distributor.

For any small or upcoming hero to become a star, he needs to score at least two to three huge blockbusters and follow up with a few more hits which can satisfy all sections of audiences.

We have seen actors who faded away after scoring huge blockbusters as they failed to plan their career properly. The likes of Uday Kiran and Tarun scored big hits at one point but they couldn’t sustain at top for long.

Allari Naresh too scored a relatively huge hit with Sudigadu when compared to his previous hits, but he hasn’t scored a solid hit ever since. Nani on the other hand has been delivering successive hits and he is already regarded as the biggest hero among mid-range ones.

Vijay on the other hand scored a blockbuster with ‘Pelli Choopulu’ last year and Arjun Reddy this year. In between, he had a flop called ‘Dwaraka’. In fact, he signed Dwaraka before Pelli Choopulu so he hasn’t yet made a bad choice post Pelli Choopulu. Vijay thus checked the primary requirement of two blockbusters. Whereas he won class audiences with PC, he won masses with Arjun Reddy.

Coming to planning, he has signed Geetha Arts film next. Being directed by the talented Parasuram, it is likely to be a minimum guarantee film. If Vijay can come up with a few more films that cater to all sections, he can pose a challenge to the stars.

Young Tiger NTR has been blown away with compliments after the theatrical trailer of Jai Lava Kusa has been out. Several celebrities took twitter to review the trailer and congratulate Tarak for his outstanding performance in three roles.

Mega actor and Supreme Star Sai Dharamtej is not an exception for this and he lauded Tarak. He posted saying “Cha.cha..cha… champesav @tarak9999 #JaiLavaKusa”.

This is not the first time Tej praised the acting skills of an actor or applauded a film. The actor prefers to reveal his view of many films he loved. Tej is currently busy VV Vinayak’s next which started rolling recently. His next outing Jawan will hit the screens during November which has been helmed by BVS Ravi.

On the other side, NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa is gearing up for September 21st release which has been directed by Bobby.

Despite the fact that Jai Lava Kusa made a decent impression other day with the trailer, producer Kalyan Ram’s words about the film and the lead actor Jr NTR is sounding little risky for the prospects at the box office. Here goes why.

“When Bobby narrated me Jai Lava Kusa, I got reminded of Dana Veera Sura Karna movie. Even JLK is such a huge story with a big canvas. Also, the director told me the story with title Jai Lava Kusa, I’ve not picked it up later” said Kalyan Ram at the trailer launch event of the above-said film other day. Not stopping there, he added, “Though I told him (Jr NTR) that after grandfather (Sr NTR) only he could do such a character which has stammering, he thought about it for a week to accept the role. After watching the film, I said to my brother (Jr NTR), like the way Tatha gaaru has got public appreciation for Dana Veera Sura Karna, even you will also get terrific applause.”

Firstly, calling Jai Lava Kusa as a great film will not be any wrong, but when you are going out there to compare it with Dana Veera Sura Karna, then trouble is what falls in the lap. Because that film of legendary Sr NTR is something tough to be reproduced again, both regarding acting and scale. And calling that JLK is the only such story after DVS Karna is not a wise comparison, because this latest one is a pure commercial masala entertainer, while NTR Sr’s movie is a historical and mythological film.

Secondly, yes, Jr NTR is a proven actor who need not be given any certificates about acting skills, but still calling him someone who could reprise such triple role after next to Sr NTR is a big mistake. Because that will hurt sentiments and emotions of many actors out there, and also the opinions of fans of other stars. Even within Nandamuri fans, there may not be an acceptance for the line “After Sr NTR it is Junior NTR.”

Many feel that Kalyan Ram should have made such statements after the film got released and scored a stunning blockbuster. Otherwise, these risky statements lead to over-hype that may cast a harmful spell on film’s success.

The latest update says that the young actress has been approached to play an interesting role in the most happening biopic of legendary actress Savitri which has been titled Mahanati.

The film’s director Nag Ashwin has been completely impressed with the performance of Shalini Pandey and he signed her for an interesting role. Keerthy Suresh, Samantha, Prakashraj and Dulquer Salman will be seen playing the lead roles in Mahanati.

Ashwini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies is bankrolling this prestigious project which completed half of its shoot. Shalini Pandey will join the sets from October and the movie has been aimed for release during the first half of next year.

The theatrical trailer of ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ was the focus of much media attention on this Sunday and what’s even more interesting is NTR’s speech at the pre-release event.

The emotionally charged Tarak thanked entire crew & cast of the film and briefed how he had to sign the film. ‘When I heard the script from Bobby and told it to two of my closest acquaintances in a week, they were totally in love with it & very confident about it. I will reveal their names only after the success of the film.

He further turned to his father Harikrishna Nandamuri saying ‘Nanna.., e janma ki abhimanulatho ne undi pothanu’ (Father, I will stay back with fans in this life) and that aroused massive response from his fans in the auditorium.

The Big Boss host exuded confidence on the film and dedicated the film to all the brother in the world. Finally, on fans demand, he delivered Raavana dialogue on stage.

With music by Devi Sri Prasad and camera by Chota K Naidu, the film which has NTR in triple role was bankrolled by Kalyan Ram under NTR Arts banner. Raashi Khanna & Nivetha Thomas are the leading ladies of the film.

Magadheera is sure a special film in the career of Ramcharan and is the biggest hit in the actor’s career. Charan too reminds about the film during public meetings and the biggest surprise here is that the story of Magadheera was not penned for Ramcharan.

SS Rajamouli directed the movie and his father V Vijayendra Prasad penned the story. The news has been revealed by the legendary writer Vijayendra Prasad during the pre-release event of his next directorial Srivalli for which Charan attended as chief guest.

“After the super success of Simhadri, Rajamouli was asked about directing Chiranjeevi and he always wanted to. One fine day, we got a call from Megastar Chiranjeevi garu and we were left extremely delighted and touched with his gesture. It was after a week; we narrated the 100 men fight episode from Magadheera to Megastar. Due to some unexpected reasons, it did not materialize but he loved the episode. Rajamouli wanted the episode to do it with Megastar and we kept it aside” said V Vijayendra Prasad.

“It was later we got an opportunity to work with Ramcharan and we used the episode of Magadheera for Charan. Everyone knows that the rest is history. We started our journey with Ramcharan from Magadheera and he has been carrying the legacy of the legendary actor Megastar Chiranjeevi: revealed the writer of Baahubali.
