Milky beauty Tamanna is no more just Tamanna, she has become Dr. Tamanna now.

Recognizing her contribution to South cinema, the Confederation of International Accreditation Commission (CIAC), an International NGO has conferred conferred Tamanna with an Honorary Doctorate. She is extremely thrilled with the honor. Upon receiving the doctorate, Tamanna said that she will strive to do justice to the honor.

The ‘Baahubali’ actress has shared this happy news with her followers on social media. Having entered the world of movies at very young age, Tamannah has acted predominantly in Telugu and Tamil languages, and went on to do around 50 films till now.

She has four films slated for release by the end of 2017.

Young actor Navdeep is scheduled to appear before SIT today, after the team scrutinized filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, cinematographer Shyam K Naidu, actors Subba Raju and Tarun in the same order. The SIT will question Navdeep on his relations with Calvin, his alleged drug use, allegations on his pub in Hyderabad being the adda of drug trade etc.

It may be recalled that when Navdeep was served notices, he said that it was just a misunderstanding and that he would prove his innocence. On the other hand, reports are doing rounds that a pub where Navdeep has significant partnership, is one of the hubs for drug trade in the city and that the actor had been organizing drug-infused parties to Tollywood celebs.

On Saturday, the Enforcement sleuths grilled Tarun for around 13 hours and reportedly left him only after extracting satisfactory information. He was primarily questioned about the pub he owns but he has reportedly claimed to have sold it half a decade ago. His blood, hair and nail samples were also collected by the doctors of Osmania Hospital.

The SIT officials have divulged that the Tollywood personalities interrogated so far have cooperated with them and revealed useful information. Reportedly, the names of some influential Tollywood personalities came out during the questioning and they will also be served notices shortly.

Sleuths expect to extract vital leads and also names of bigwigs from Navdeep in connection to drug use in Tollywood.

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swacch Bharat’ campaign, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar is coming up with an interesting story titled ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’.

The movie, that’s scheduled to release on August 11th, been reportedly leaked online. The issue was notified to makers by dance choreographer Reno D’Souza and he also said that he also had access to the piracy version of film. In regard Yo this matter, Akshay Kumar took to twitter and appealed his fans to fight against the piracy and save the film.

Director Koratala Siva has made a few interesting revelations about Mahesh Babu’s character and the theme of his new film ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’.

Ever since the reports of this crazy project surfaced in media, it has been speculated that ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ is mounted against political backdrop and that Mahesh will be seen as CM in the film. It is also reported that the film would take potshots at contemporary politics.

Koratala Siva has now opened up on these speculations and made it clear that Bharat Ane Nenu will neither target any existing political party nor any politician. He also clarified that Mahesh’s character is not inspired from any politician and that he won’t utter any politically-charged dialogues or satires targeting any politician or party.

In one sentence, Koratala spoke out the disclaimer we see before movie screenings, ‘Our film is entirely fictitious and any resemblance to any politician or party is purely coincidence.’

Films revolving around politics are bound to draw comparisons with contemporary politics and create or engulf in controversies. Wonder what Koratala and Mahesh has in store.

Going by the collections of Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Fidaa’ on Day 2, it appears that the Telugu audiences all over the world have become ‘Fidaa’ over this emotion-filled love story.

After taking the career highest opening of Varun Tej on Friday, Fidaa posted phenomenal numbers on Day 2 as well. As per trade reports, the film has collected a share of 3.13 crore on Day 2 in the Telugu states, taking its 2 days total to 6.54 crore.
