Baseless Rumors on Nag Joining YCP
The rumors of Akkineni Nagarjuna joining Jagan’s YSRC party have been doing rounds for past few days. When we contacted our reliable sources, they have quashed these reports as baseless.
Nagarjuna used to maintain close association with late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy when he was in power, and now he has become a close pal of TS CM KCR and his son KTR. He keeps good association with all parties but refrains from directly involving in politics.
When YSR was the CM of united AP, Nag endorsed a few government schemes allegedly in lieu of the CM’s support for his business endeavors. He however never campaigned for any party. Because of his close ties with Nimmagadda Prasad, an acquaintance of Jagan, gossipmongers have started speculating that the actor was inclined towards joining YCP.
Nagarjuna is based in Hyderabad, he has most of his business ventures in and around the city. Why would he join YCP which has almost zero existence in Telangana? Why not join TRS if he has political ambitions?
With the kind of stardom and popularity he has, Nag would have joined politics very long back if he had such intentions. He has been staying distant from politics because he doesn’t want himself to limit to one party, and have amicable relation with whoever is in power. To summarize in one sentence, Nagarjuna is a clever businessman who plays to the galleries.

The ODI against West Indies was held at Sabina Park on Thursday. The score of 111 helped Kohli to stand at equal position of Sanath Jayasuruya’s total of 28 tons. He left behind him Tendulkar with 49 tons.

Ninnu Kori Movie Review – 3/5
Ninnu Kori is an emotional romantic drama that deals with the life after love. Terrific star cast, mature handling and soulful musical score are its biggest plusses. Nani has once again made the right choice of picking the right script.
Story :
Uma (Nani) and Pallavi (Nivetha) fall in love, but couldn’t be together due to the former’s financial status. Pallavi gets married to a gentleman called Arun (Aadi) and Uma goes into depression and puts his career at stake. Now Pallavi decides to keep Uma happy by showing that she has moved on. Uma comes to her house and stays there for ten days. Does Uma change or Pallavi gets back with him?
Performances:
Nani is a fantastic actor who can play any type of character. He can be easy going happy guy and also play a heartbroken lover character to the perfection. His natural charm and comedic timing will make us fall for Uma. Nivetha is a terrific find. She is a very good performer and does total justice to her character. Aadi is perfect as a loving husband. Murali Sharma and Prudhvi duo provides humor when it is most needed.
Technicalities:
Shiva Nirvana picked a routine plot that was seen many times in Telugu and as well as other languages. However his mature handling and the natural setup of scenes and likeable characterizations makes it special. He has dealt the emotional part of the story like an experienced campaigner.
Any love story isn’t complete without a good soundtrack. Gopi Sunder’s music is the major attraction. Background score is superb which will stay with you for so long after leaving the cinemas. The film would not be such a visually rich experience without Karthik’s cinematography. Kona’s dialogues are impressive and the production values are very good. Editor did a fine job in keeping the runtime short.

Analysis:
Ninnu Kori is a romance-drama high on emotions. It is a simple story that is told in a pleasant manner. The story is very predictable yet the moments are beautifully scripted that you never gets bored. Fine performances from all the three leads made it worth watching in spite of its slow pace.
Director and writer cleverly injected humor into the emotional setup without disturbing the soul and feel of the film. There is a point where it looks like the director has taken the conventional route so that there would be a happy ending. However, things are maturely handled and convincingly portrayed so that the viewers come out satisfied.
Although the film doesn’t bore you, there are a few instances, where we get the feeling that it is being dragged. Emotional climax makes up for such short comings and there is a bit of after story to give us that satisfactory ending. Ninnu Kori would have been a bore fest if the director chose to tell it in an emotional way. However, he has cleverly used humor to keep things subtle.
Nani’s fantastic act as Uma and Nivetha-Aadi’s fine performances are Ninnu Kori’s biggest strengths. Writer, cinematographer and music director have tuned well with the director’s thoughts and as a team they have made it an enjoyable fare. If you like to watch romantic tales, Ninnu Kori serves whatever you would anticipate from them. Nani’s fine form at the box office will be continued with Ninnu Kori as it connects well with the target audience.
Verdict: Breezy Romance.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming”, the latest American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, hit screens in India and US on July 7, this Friday. Here comes the good news for the Spider-Man aficionados, the latest film has received largely positive reviews.
The film had its first world premiere in Hollywood on June 28, 2017, and was released in the UK on July 5 and in additional international markets on July 6. Homecoming is the second reboot of the Spider-Man film franchise, which produced 3 original film (2002-07) and 2 films in the first reboot (2012-14). British actor Tom Holland has been cast as ‘Spider-Man’ in the latest reboot.
The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported a 93% rating for ‘Homecoming’ based on 166 reviews, with an average rating of 7.6/10. Critics praised Holland and the cast’s performances, the musical score, the light tone and the action sequences. The film was praised for playing with fresh ideas instead of trying to cash in on its popular franchise name. Most of the critics rated it the ‘Best film in Spider-Man film series’.

Jagan’s 50 Cr Deal with PK?
YSRCP President YS Jagan’s whopping Rs 50 crore deal with Prashant Kishor has become a hot topic in political circles.
For the unknown, Prashant Kishor is a political strategist who has the reputation of winning elections for his clients with his mastermind and experience. He first came to wider public attention by helping Narendra Modi-led BJP win an absolute majority in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

YCP chief is reportedly confident that Kishor’s experience will place him in the CM chair after the conclusion of next elections.
Sacked Minister Taking Revenge Against Chandrababu?
Buzz in political circles is that TDP MLA Ravela Kishore Babu, who was recently sacked from the Chandrababu Naidu cabinet, is silently planning a revolt against his party and the CM. The presence of his photograph in the posters of Manda Krishna Madiga’s “Kurukshetra Mahasabha” is the reason for these wild speculations.
Kishore Babu was made a Minister in Chandrababu’s cabinet after he won the 2014 elections from Prathipadu constituency, Guntur. Irked by the alleged controversies he indulged in later, Babu sacked him in the recent cabinet reshuffle. Ever since, Kishore Babu has been keeping a low profile. There were reports of him being unhappy with Chandrababu’s decision, and planning to jump into YSRCP.
Now, as his photograph has appeared on MRPS posters erected across Guntur city, it is being seen as a ploy of Kishore Babu to take revenge against the TDP govt. MRPS has planned this meeting against the TDP govt. demanding SC reservation categorization. Some say that Kishore Babu himself is allegedly financing this meeting in order to disrupt the govt.
His supporters on the other hand argue that their leader’s photo was printed on the MRPS posters as he also belongs to Madiga community, and that there was no other motive behind it.

Finnish company HMD Global is planning to release its new smartphones — Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 — in the United Kingdom over the next few weeks. It revealed the release schedule of the handsets months after they were announced.
The low-end handset Nokia 3 will be the first to hit the UK and it will arrive on July 12 for £119.99. The next device to be released is the Nokia 6, which is scheduled to come on August 2, and the Nokia 5 on August 16.
The Nokia 3 will come with a price tag of £119.99 (€139), sports a 5.0-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 720×1,280 pixels (294 ppi pixel density), powered by a Mediatek MT6737 processor, and run Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
