Mass director Boyapati Sreenu seems to be leaving no stone unturned to make his under-production film starring Bellamkonda Srinivas a crazy one.

After roping in top actress Rakul Preet Singh as the leading lady and happening beauty Pragya Jaiswal as the second lead, Boyapati has upped the glam quotient of his action entertainer by signing hot actress Catherine Tresa for a special song.

It is known that Catherine played the character of an MLA in Boyapati’s last film, ‘Sarrainodu’. Catherine reportedly couldn’t say no for this special song given her rapport with the mass director and the hefty amount in offering. This song will reportedly be shot in a lavish set. Catherine’s oomph is expected to be a big crowd puller when the film releases.

It may be noted that Catherine was earlier supposed to do an item song in Megastar’s ‘Khaidi No.150’. She however was replaced with Raai Laxmi after she had an altercation with a crucial unit member.

The disappointed fans of Catherine will finally see the hot lady setting the screen on fire on Boyapati’s canvas.

After raising the expectations with a string of quirky posters, the makers of Srinivas Avasarala’s ‘Babu Baga Busy’ unveiled the teaser today. And, its too bold for the standards of Telugu cinema.

Babu Baga Busy is the remake of Bollywood film ‘Hunterrr’. Going by the teaser, makers seem to have retained all the bold scenes and quirky dialogues from the original. The film traces the story of Avasarala’s character and his experiences with different women in different phases of his life.

Mishty Chakraborthy, Sreemukhi, Tejaswi and Suriya Aysola are playing the key women in Avasarala’s life with Supriya’s character being the boldest among all. Both Sreemukhi and Tejaswi seem to have done their share of naughty acts with Avasarala in the movie.

Babu Baga Busy is slated for April 13, 2017 release.

Convincing Pawan Kalyan to attend a promotional event of his films is no less than a monumental task. However, Sharat Marar, the producer of Katamarayudu, has reportedly not just planned a mere pre-release event but has a big surprise in store for mega fans at the event to be held on 18th March in Hyderabad.

It is known that Pawan completed 2 decades in film industry last October. Any other actor would have acknowledged such a monumental feat with at least minimal celebrations but Pawan on the other hand was so absorbed in his filmy and political endeavors that he might not have even realized the special day. His ardent fans however celebrated the occasion.

Sharat Marar has reportedly got the idea of conducting a celebratory event of Pawan’s completion of 2 decades in film industry coinciding with the pre-release event of Katamarayudu. Hence, the supposed small event will now be held on a grand scale.

Whatmore, all the mega heroes have reportedly received the invitations to be part of this event to congratulate Pawan and wish him for Katamarayudu. It is known that Chiru attended the audio launch of Sardaar, will he attend this event as well? Will Bunny make an appearance and appease fans of Pawan?

The pre-release event will truly embrace the color of festival if Megastar, Pawan, Charan and Bunny share the dais along with the young crop of mega family heroes. How big a surprise this event will depend on how many of the mega heroes will be in attendance.

Powestar Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu completed its censor formalities on Wednesday and was granted a clean ‘U’ certificate. The actioner will have a grand worldwide release on 24th March.

It is interesting to see that Katamarayudu was allotted ‘U’ certificate as Pawan is  reportedly playing a faction leader in the film. The film is said to be a fine blend of action, romance and sentiments.

The unit is highly confident of the film scoring a blockbuster at box office. Distributors have also shelled out astronomical sums on the film after witnessing the historical response for the film’s teaser. The successful pairing of Pawan and Shruti Haasan is another positive factor.

After wrapping up the recent Bangkok schedule on time, hero Gopichand is going to Dubai for the next schedule of his present film “Gautham Nanda”. Director Sampath Nandi is going to shoot two songs on Gopichand – one is a solo introduction song of Gopi and another one is a romantic duet on Gopichand and Hansika. Ace dance choreographer Raju Sundaram is going to direct both these songs. Sampath is apparently going all out to make the film rich and stylish.

The looks of Gopi in the film are already being talked about. The first look of suave Gopi received thumbs up from critics as well as movie-goers. Apparently most part of the shoot is completed and three more songs are yet to be shot – the remaining three songs will be shot in India. Sampath is expecting to complete the film by April and Producers Bhagawan and Pullarao are planning to release the film in May.

The film also features Catherine Tresa as female lead. Catherine was last seen in Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Sarrainodu.

Rather announcing directly that they are short of stories, these days our star heroes and also directors found some interesting way to get ideas. And this ‘idea’ is so terrific that young and aspiring filmmakers are rushing to them in a bid to get their attention. But what’s happening later is something different.

Of late we are hearing many star directors and heroes conducting some ‘Short Film Contests’ just to encourage talents. After a star Telugu director conducted one such contest in association with a TV channel, none knows what happened to the final winner or the result itself. Similarly, hero Danush also announced about such contest on YouTube through a special app. None knows about the results. Latest to join the bandwagon is hero Surya who announced similar short film contest with a cash prize as well.

Though it looks from a larger perspective that these heroes are really encouraging talents, some cinema lovers do say that they are just using this bait to get to know some interesting story ideas. As all the above said heroes and filmmakers are stuck with making routine stuff these days, these Short Film Contests are surely going to help.

However, fans of these stars do claim that genuinely their favourite celebs are encouraging talented young filmmakers. Hope there is no question of exploitation and it’s only exploration.

If it silver screen, then the vibrance and beauty of clothes are very important as they present the lead actors in the best possible striking manner. Especially in songs, these stars should look terrific to strike a chord with their fans.

Gone are the days where ‘costumers’ design special clothes for hero and heroine. These days also they do, but they do it only for a song or two. For rest of the songs, we have ‘Fashion Designers’ these days picking international branded clothes for the lead pair. For other scenes throughout the film, they are picking clothes from these brands only. And that’s where our designers forget to go importance to aesthetic needs.

For example, if we take the protagonist of an energetic hero’s movie, we have him playing the role of an orphan who later confirms that he’s the son of a middle-class father. What stuns everyone is that he wears Superdry brand clothes most of the time. With t-shirts priced at more than 4000 rupees, was that a middle class look the designer has imparted to him?

Same is the case with a star family heir, where he’s seen wearing imported leather Jackets and other jeans pants that are shopped in Hong Kong. Each jacket has cost more than a lakh as per the finding. Though he played a corrupt Sub-Inspector of police, will he flaunt that wealth way?

Even a top notch star who has sported Khadi throughout the film used some imported leather jackets and jeans for songs that are shot in picturesque locales of Europe.

Of course, we have to agree that these heroes should look vibrant and handsome with their costumes but the designers should be sticking to character design and it’s financial backdrop too. Then only, our commercial films will look like a reality.

Cute actress Raashi Khanna, who was once known for her voluptous figure and charming looks, has recently surprised her fans and movie lovers with her slim avatar. Is she targeting Zero Size next?

When Raashi was asked about her weight issues and other things in a recent interview, the ‘Hyper’ actress turned philosophical. ‘Beauty doesn’t have a particular definition and it depends on the perception of each person. One needs not to work hard to turn slim just because someone says ‘you look good if you shed weight’. Do it only of you want to,’ advises Raashi.

She added that she had to work very hard to lose weight and that she has no plans of getting Zero Size. ‘Even if I want to, I couldn’t achieve it,’ she confessed adding that after looking at her slim looks, many people said she looked better earlier.

Raashi was recently in news for the beautiful poem she wrote to inspire women. She even released a video on the eve of Women’s Day. On work front, Raashi will next be seen in NTR’s ‘Jai Lava Kusa’.

Senior Bolywood hero Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanyata has shared this lovely picture of the actor sharing a cozy moment with his younger daughter Iqra Dutt. Along with the pic, she wrote, “Dear daddy, I may find my prince someday but you will always be my king.”

Being a protective father, Dutt was recently in news for openly expressing his dissent with his elder daughter Trishala’s acting dreams.

Brace up for the biggest trailer of this year, ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ trailer is all set to storm the world tomorrow.

Interim, the film’s producer Shobu Yarlagadda took to twitter to announce that the 2 minutes and 20 seconds trailer has been censored and received U/A certificate. The trailer will reportedly be screened in as many as 300 theatres across the two Telugu  states tomorrow. A few hours after the theatrical release, the trailer will hit internet.

Music composer and sound designer of Baahubali, Kalyani Malik has recently said that irrespective of the film, the trailer itself will play for 100 days.

Movie lovers across the world have humongous expectations on ‘Baahubali’ 2nd part and they expect a much bigger visual spectacle than the first part. Bearing sky high expectations, the Rajamouli directorial will release on April 28, 2017.

As Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Katamarayudu’ is gearing up to release next week, fans are curious to find out how this remake would fare.

Pawan Kalyan is a creative person and he has always tried to do things differently. However, it is interesting to see that his 20-odd film career has significant number of remakes including Khushi, Gabbar Singh, Annavaram, Teenmaar and Suswagatham.

Not all remakes have worked for Pawan but the ones which worked, became record breaking blockbusters. The reason for the gigantic success of remakes like Khushi and Gabbar Singh is the able adaption to Telugu nativity.

After learning that Katamarayudu was a remake of Tamil film ‘Veeram’, at initial stage people didn’t have many expectations on it, but after release of Katamarayudu Teaser the expectations reaches high. Remakes these days are not working as they once used to be. However, if a filmmaker manages to make the adapt a film instead of presenting as it is, there is a good chance of scoring a hit. Makers of Katamarayudu have said that they have taken only the core subject of Veeram and the screenplay will be completely new.

The promos, Pawan’s look and the teaser have managed to raise expectations on this remake. We however need to wait until March 24 to know if Katamarayudu falls in the category of Gabbar Singh or Teenmaar.

Actor Mohan Babu has breathed fire on media over the way it has reported on Jayasudha’s husband’s Nitin Kapoor’s suicide. Terming Jayasudha as his sister, he appealed to media not to sensationalise and instead he asked them to maintain balance. “She is my sister. Please don’t talk whatever the way you want. No one knows what’s the exact reason for his husband’s suicide at this time. Stating financial issues as reason is utter nonsense. They’re well-settled,” said Mohan Babu. He said he’s praying to Lord Sai Baba to offer strength and his blessings to Jayasudha during these tough times.

It’s learnt that both Nitin and Jayasudha had come to Mohan Babu’s house just before four days and that is when Mohan Babu inquired about his health. Nitin wanted to produce a film soon and Mohan Babu too offered to play a guest role for free, considering his sisterly-bond with Jayasudha. It’s known that both of them were happy and even had lunch at his home. Hearing such a tragedy about her family upset Mohan Babu.

Mohan babu said ‘I would give one hundred percent for Nitin and his family and in this regard I am begging media for my sister, not to mention the reason for his death as financial trouble, but request you to call it a suspicious death instead’. Mohan babu recalls talking to Jayasudha few hours ago and assuring her that it was not any financial issue that led to her husband’s suicide.

Nitin Kapoor was suffering from severe depression since sometime and the last he was treated at Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai.

Sameera Reddy, who had bid adieu to her acting career after marrying to an entrepreneur Akshai Varde in 2014, is now toying with the idea of making her comeback. If reports are to be believed, Sameera is now ready to do some character roles and apparently fine tuning her industry contacts and said to have expressed her interest to a few closed friends of her in the industry.

Sameera, who is a mom of a child, is apparently contemplating to try her hand at a few character roles and started her hunt for such roles. Given that she had done several glamourous roles and quite famous as glam doll during her first innings of her career, it needs to be seen how people would receive if she dons character roles.

Despite good skin show, Sameera couldn’t make it big as expected. She acted alongside Chiranjeevi in Jai Chiranjeeva and opposite Suriya in Surya S/o Krishna and Jr NTR in Narasimhudu and Ashok. With nothing favoured her much, Sameera had opted to marry and settle.

Noted Bollywood heroine Amyra Dastur is all set for her Tollywood debut. Amyra is going to make her debut in Telugu cinema with Vishnu Manchu’s Aachari America Yatra. Amyra has signed the film on the dotted line, said a source in the know. The film will be formally launched on Mar 19 coinciding with the birthday celebrations of veteran actor Mohan Babu.

The movie marks the hit combo of Vishnu and director G Nageshwar Reddy who earlier delivered successful films like Dhenikaina Ready and Aado Rakam Eedo Rakam. Naturally, there’s good buzz on their reunion and it has to be seen whether it’d be a hat-trick.

Parsi-Indian Amyra is noted for her stint as female lead opposite Prateik Babbar in Issaq  which is her silver screen debut and since then, there’s no looking back for her. and recent Hollywood film Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Yoga. She also acted with Dhanush in Anekudu (Anegan in Tamil). Let’s see what’s in store for Vishnu and Amyra.

SS Rajamouli has reportedly struck a fresh deal with one of the producers of Baahubali. Rajamouli said to have inked a two-movie deal with Arka Media Works that are expected to roll on after the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion. It’s learnt that Arka Media Works has come up with an irresistible offer that Rajamouli couldn’t say no for these two-film deal. Considering his rapport and bonding with Arka, Rajamouli too said to have given his nod for the deal.

The production house is quite confident on the second part of the Baahubali and expecting it to do more wonders than the first part and this in turn is going to fetch more fancy offers to Jakkanna.

Rajamouli would go on for a family vacation after the post-release promotions of the film. Once he returns, he is expected to begin the pre-production work of his up next film on Arka. It’s heard that his up next film would be bigger than Baahubali.
