Time and again, we have witnessed tragic incidents where extreme worship of film heroes taking lives. Another such incident took place on Tuesday in this cinema-crazy country.

As per reports, 1 person was killed as crowd went berserk after Shah Rukh Khan arrived at the Vadodara (in Gujarat) railway station by August Kranti Rajdhani Express to promote his upcoming film ‘Raees’. SRK boarded the train from Mumbai to Delhi as part of his promotional campaign titled ‘Raees by Rail’.

The Delhi bound train reportedly arrived at Vadodara station at around 10AM this morning and halted for just 10 minutes. By that time, fans of Shah Rukh had gathered in large numbers to have a glimpse of him. As soon as the train arrived, the crowd went berserk and rushed towards it. The policemen posted there to control the crowd had to do even mild lathicharge to control the situation.

‘When the train started moving, some fanatic fans started running along with it. In the ensued stampede, one person died and two policemen were injured,’ said reports.

Many film makers want Rajamouli to launch their films’ audio and the star director too tries to make it to almost every event he is invited to. Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad is not an exception and he too invited his son to launch his new movie ‘Srivalli’ audio.

‘Actually, the films of both these legends releasing at the same time was a blessing in disguise. I and Balayya garu made sure to speak good about Khaidi No.150 in all of our interviews and Chiranjeevi garu did the same for our film. Had these films released on separate occasions, neither film would have garnered so much positive publicity,’ Krish explained.

He has once again used serious words at some fanatic fans who resorted to trolling of competing heroes. ‘I felt ashamed of going to twitter for the past 10 days. Even well educated people are using demeaning language against legends such as Chiru and Balayya. Because of the shameful acts of these caste-fanatic fans, the true fans are also getting backlash from average movie goers,’ he said.

Suriya’s Singam 3 (Yamudu 3), which is planned for Jan 26th, has been postponed due to unprecedented conditions in Tamil Nadu over Jallikattu sport. As there’s vacuum generated with the postponement of S3, Vishnu has decided not to leave the opportunity and announced to release his ready-to-release film.

Luckunnodu stars Vishnu’s lucky mascot Hansika Motwani with whom he earlier had hits like Dhenikaina Ready. Since Hansika is returning to Tollywood after a long hiatus, and the Dhenikaina Ready combination is adding to the positive buzz around the film which has loads of comedy i.e Vishnu’s forte.

Already released teaser, trailer and songs have all got good reception and Vishnu is hoping to repeat the magic with the movie as well. Raaja Kiran of Geethanjali fame has directed the film and it’s being produced by MVV Cinema.

Even Venkatesh’s Guru was initially planned for Jan 25 release, but that was later pushed to April. Since no releases in the last 10 days, movie lovers are eagerly looking  forward to a good entertainer.  So, let’s see what’s in store for Luckunnodu.

Anupama Parameswaran is out of Ram Charan’s next film. The A..Aa beauty, who is riding high with the success of Shatamanam Bhavati, got a huge shocker as she was ousted from the film.

While exact reasons for Anupama’s exit are not revealed, it’s learnt that Anupma seems to be a misfit alongside Ram Charan as she looks so younger than Charan and hence Charan and Sukumar gently informed Anupama about the same. The actress said to have taken it in her own stride.

Earlier during Sankranti, Anupama herself took to twitter to share the happy news that she would be part of Ram Charan and Sukumar’s next film. Going by her tweet, it was evident that Anupama was on cloud nine and definitely she wouldn’t have expected such a shocker in short time.

Since the release of “Srimanthudu”, Mahesh Babu started having this new like for Ram Charan as this mega hero is the only star who called and appreciated the former for his risking move which made 85+ crores share at box office. To strengthen their bond of friendship, recently Mahesh and Charan along with their spouses have spent a holiday together in Switzerland to celebrate the new year eve. That’s not all, we have Charan and Upasna as chief guests at Namrata’s 45th birthday celebrations other day. News is coming out that Upasna has now convinced both Charan and Mahesh to invest together in a new venture.

As first reported by Gulte, Suriya has finally decided to postpone his film S3 – Yamudu 3. Considering special conditions in Tamil Nadu over Jallikattu sport, Suriya and producer Gnanvel Raja have postponed the film. The producer of the film’s Telugu version, Malkapuram Sivakumar to confirmed the development.The Telugu-Tamil bilingual was supposed to release on Jan 26.

However, this is not first time the film is getting postponed. It was already postponed twice. The action drama starring Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan was initially planned for Dec 16th release. Later, the film was pushed to Dec 23 release but after much thought it’s postponed to Jan 26th. But due to the ongoing protests in Tamil Nadu for lifting ban on Jallikattu permanently, there’s a turmoil and keeping these in mind, Suriya has come forward to defer the third installment of Singam franchise where he will be seen as DCP Narasimha.

The fresh release date of film would be announced once the Jallikattu issue settles down and peace prevails, a source close to the star told Gulte.

Initially, Venkatesh’s Guru was also planned for Jan 25 release, but for unknown reasons it has been pushed to April. With two big films being postponed and there’re no other releases lined up, looks like it’s going to be dull week for Tollywood unless until any other film makes it to the screens.

After Sankranti releases – Khaidi No.150, Gautamiputra Satakarni and Shatamanam Bhavati, no other film has seen the light of the day as all three were having a glorious run at the BO. Trade is expecting that no other releases for Republic Day may further boost the numbers of the Sankranti films. Let’s see what’s in store.
