Who will turn medico for Mahesh Babu?
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s next in the direction of Tamil Star director AR Murugadoss will start rolling from this month end or early August. Bollywood Diva Parineeti Chopra is making her Telugu debut with this film. The actress reportedly will be seen as a medical student in the movie. There are rumours that the makers are in plans to replace Parineeti with Rakul Preet Singh but there is no official confirmation. Once the shooting begins, it will go non-stop till completion.
The film is the first bilingual film in the actor’s career and will be made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Mahesh will himself dub for the Tamil version as well. Rumours also suggest that he will be seen as an intelligence officer in the film which questions our legal system. If this happens to be true, Mahesh Babu will be seen in a Never before seen role in the film.
Mahesh Babu who just delivered South India’s Second Biggest disaster of all time with his Brahmotsavam had pinned high hopes on this film to make a comeback to winning ways. He is also hoping to create a market for himself in Kollywood using Murugadoss’ popularity there. One of the country’s Top cinematographers, Santosh Sivan will be cranking camera for this film. Samantha reveals about marriage plans!
These days the every other day, we are hearing one or the other rumour about the new love birds of Tollywood, Naga Chaitanya. So far we have seen a picture of them watching a film all alone in a preview theater and then there is a little video in which they are seen relaxing in an apartment balcony.
And then there is another picture, where the couple are seen outside a bar in Hyderabad. Later in a Newspaper, Nagarjuna also responded in favour of the marriage and hinted that the marriage is round the corner. Speaking in a media interview, when asked her what would her marital status be next year, the actress replied with a laugh, “Next year Samantha is still very single… No marriage.”
On the other side, the couple are all set to romance for the fourth time together in a film directed by Soggade Chinni Nayana fame Kalyan Krishna. So far they have appeared together in Yem Maya Chesave, Autonagar Surya and Manam. Both Yem Maya Chesave and Manam are considered classics in Chaitanya’s career.
Stop taking ‘stupid selfies’, Croatian authorities tell tourists
Croatia’s mountain rescue service has urged tourists to stop putting themselves in danger, by taking “stupid and dangerous selfies”. The appeal came after the young Canadian plunged off a 75-metre viewpoint in the Plitvice Lakes national park while trying to take a selfie.
“Dear tourists, we respect you. It’s time for you to start respecting yourself. So, stop making stupid and dangerous selfies. Thank you,” the service said on Twitter.The 20-year-old miraculously survived, as tree branches broke his fall, but he sustained serious injuries, police said.
Last year a 54-year-old Slovak tourist was killed after she fell from a rock in the same national park, also while trying to take a photo.Tourism is a key sector of Croatia’s economy, and last year the country of 4.2 million people welcomed more than 14 million visitors, with most heading to its pristine Adriatic coast.
Dallas shooting suspect amassed personal arsenal
An Army veteran killed by Dallas police after he fatally shot five officers amassed a personal arsenal at his suburban home, including bomb-making materials, bulletproof vests, rifles, ammunition and a journal of combat tactics, authorities said on Friday.The man identified as 25-year-old Micah Johnson told authorities he was upset about the fatal police shootings of two African-American men earlier this week and wanted to exterminate whites, “especially white officers”, officials said.
In Georgia, Missouri and Tennessee, authorities said gun-wielding civilians also shot officers in individual attacks that came after the African-American men were killed in Louisiana and Minnesota. Two officers were wounded, one critically.President Barack Obama and Texas Governor Greg Abbott asked for the public’s prayers. In a letter posted online Friday, Mr. Abbott said “every life matters” and urged Texans to come together.
“In the end,” he wrote, “evil always fails”.
Johnson was a private first class from the Dallas suburb of Mesquite with a specialty in carpentry and masonry. He served in the Army Reserve for six years starting in 2009 and did one tour in Afghanistan from November 2013 to July 2014, the military said.A military lawyer says Johnson was accused of sexual harassment by a female soldier when he served in the Army in Afghanistan in May 2014. Lawyer Bradford Glendening, who represented Johnson, said Johnson was sent back to the U.S. with the recommendation he be removed from the Army with an “other than honourable” discharge.
Mr. Glendening said Johnson was set to be removed from the Army in September 2014 because of the incident. Instead, Johnson got an honourable discharge the following April for reasons Mr. Glendening doesn’t understand.After the attack, he tried to take refuge in a parking garage and exchanged gunfire with police, Dallas Police chief David Brown said.The suspect described his motive during negotiations and said he acted alone and was not affiliated with any groups, Mr. Brown said.

The officer was hospitalized in critical condition.And in Tennessee, a man accused of shooting indiscriminately at passing cars and police on a highway told investigators he was angry about police violence against African-Americans, authorities said.

The plaintiffs, who are being represented by well-known media lawyer Mark Geragos in U.S. District Court of Central California, are seeking class-action status and civil penalties along with a requirement that Snapchat provide an in-app warning about any sexual content.According to the lawsuit, Snapchat not only makes the sexually offensive content available on the Discover feature, but its services also leads to “problematic communications, such as ‘sexting’ between minors.”The lawsuit provided a few examples of sexually explicit content, which included an article from the Cosmopolitan magazine titled “10 things he thinks when he can’t make you orgasm,” and a BuzzFeed feature named “23 pictures that are too real if you’ve ever had sex with a penis.”

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 successor in the offing? Redmi Note 4 may arrive soon
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is still going strong in the Indian market, but its successor dubbed as the Redmi Note 4 is said to be on its way. It has now emerged that the upcoming handset will come with several feature upgrades over its predecessor, including a much larger screen.The Chinese smartphone maker hasn’t revealed any detail about the Redmi Note 4, but GizmoChina has reported, citing a post by Weibo user by the name Said Yang Feng Technology, that the device will be released soon and described it as “oversized,” giving a clear hint that it will be bigger than the 5.5-inch seen in the Redmi Note 3. It went on to say that the handset could be launched by the end of the summer.
The new report contradicts claims made by Chinese website MyDrivers that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will sport a 5.5-inch display and a 13MP main camera as seen in the Redmi Note 3. It went on to claim that the device will come in two variants — one to be powered by a Helio P10 octa-core processor and the other by a Helio X20 deca-core SoC by MediaTek.It was also reported that the new Note device will be powered by a Snapdragon 652 processor, comes packed with a 16GB internal memory and a 3GB RAM, and houses a battery with fast charge technology.

Another Heroine Joins Rana
Macho hero Rana Daggubati is on a roll after the humongous success of Rajamouli directed Baahubali: The Beginning. The actor signed several interesting project after this movie and one amongst them is with director Teja. Rana is already romancing actress Kajal Agarwal and now another heroine joins this film.
Actress Catherine Tresa is officially finalized to play second fiddle in the movie. In fact, the dusky beauty is on signing spree after delivering first super hit in Telugu with Sarainodu. She was rumored to sign Gopichand – Sampathi Nandi’s film and was speculated to be performing on a special song in megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film Kathilantodu.
This yet to be titled movie is billed to be a political drama with adequate entertainment. Anup Rubens who was encouraged by Teja in his career starting stages is composing sound tracks for the film produced by Suresh Babu. Other cast and crew details will be unveiled soon.Meanwhile, Rana is juggling between Baahubali: The Conclusion and first Indian submarine based war film Ghazi that is directed by Sankalp Reddy. Apart from these projects, he has also accepted to do a movie with Tamil director Bala.
Chandrababu Shows His Comic Side
The pulse survey that took place in the AP capital Amaravati saw the comic side of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Giving his personal and family details as part of the survey to the enumerator, Chandrababu made some funny comments.Replying to the enumerator’s queries, Babu said that he has been married for nearly 35 years and that he has a washing machine, TV, internet and AC, but that he is still living in a rented house along with his family.
When asked if he has a radio, Babu said since most TVs these days have FM, he has a radio. Babu then replied that he is into politics, when he was asked about his profession. Babu jokingly asked the enumerator if he will get any government welfare schemes.
Unleashing his humorous side further, Babu said that he and his son are currently living in the Vijayawada residence and that three more family members will join them soon, referring to his wife, daughter-in-law and grandson. Babu even asked the enumerator if it is okay that his Aadhar card features his Hyderabad address.
Prabhas Baahubali Releasing Next Week
Yes, Prabhas Baahubali is releasing next week in Tamil Nadu and this is the first time this movie is hitting the screens in neighborhood state. Folks, don’t be shocked. This ‘Prabhas Baahubali’ is dubbed version of young rebel star Prabhas’s 2010 Telugu film Darling that had Tamil yesteryear hero Prabhu in an important role. The movie is set for release on July 15th.
Seems like, the Tamil producers want to take advantage of the mammoth success of Baahubali. First it was Malayalam producers who released few old films of Prabhas in Kerala. And now, its Tamil producers turn. They are trying to cash on Prabhas’s current craze.The dubbing rights of Darling were sold for decent prize. Kajal Agarwal who is also popular actress in Tamil is leading lady in ‘Prabhas Baahubali’. Director Karunakaran and music director GV Prakash Kumar are Tamilians which would be other positive factor for the film.
Apparently, the Tamil producers have taken the decision of releasing this movie on July 15th with Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film Kabali shifting from this date to July 22nd.Darling was a commercial success at the box office. It was dubbed and released in Hindi as Sabse Badhkar Hum. It was remade into Kannada as Bulbul and in Bengali as Darling.
Akkineni Hero In Telangana Project
Akkineni young lad Akhil may not have decided on his second project to date following the disastrous debut with Akhil, but he has made some time to participate in the Telangana CM KCR’s ambitious Haritha Haram project.Today, Akhil took part in the Haritha Haram plantation drive organised by the Telangana police along with TRS leaders at the RGI Airport in Samshabad. Akhil planted saplings and expressed his happiness over taking part in this prestigious mission by KCR.
Akhil said that global warming is a dangerous threat which is looming over the entire world and that it can be fought by planting of saplings and even encouraged his fans and everyone to plant saplings their house premises.
Meanwhile, KCR is hell-bent on making Telangana go green by planting 230 crore saplings in the coming 3 years. The mega plantation drive which flagged off on Friday, will see 25 lakh saplings being planted in Hyderabad this year alone.
Flop director clears confusion
Director Teja couple of months ago started shoot for a new film with Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal. The shoot happened just for couple of days and then stopped. Rana moved on to Baahubali – The Conclusion giving rise to the rumours that the movie may have got shelved. But now months after that, Teja gave a clarification.
A Press release was sent that the movie is in pre-production stage. It also says that Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa will be romancing Rana in the film. Sources say that the movie is an intense political drama laced with action. This is Kajal’s first film opposite Rana. Both of them play wife and husband in the movie.
It was Teja who introduced Kajal to films with his Lakshmi Kalyanam, nine years ago. This is her second project with her. Padala Satyanarayana will be producing the film under Vyshnavi Entertainments Banner. Teja is in a lot of flops and Rana also did not have a significant success as a solo hero. So this project is important for Rana and as well as Teja also!
