Renowned production house ‘Balaji Arts’ produced many big budget films in the past. One of their members, DVV Danayya started his own production house. But Bhagawan and Pulla Rao continued to produce films under ‘Balaji Arts’. 4 years back, they made a movie with Prabhas which incurred heavy losses for them.

They made ‘Rebel’ under Lawrence’s direction. The film exceeded the budget limit and went over Prabhas’s market. Post release, the film was declared as a disaster and produced filed a complaint over Lawrence. After ‘Rebel’, it took them 4 years to get back into film production.

After ‘Oxygen’, Gopichand will be joining hands with Sampath Nani who scored a moderate success like ‘Bengal Tiger’. The film is touted to be an action entertainer and will be produced by ‘Balaji Arts’. Hope this film brings the much needed success to those producers and brings back smiles on their faces.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali is finally releasing on 22nd of this month. Kollywood sources say that the movie will be placed for Censor tomorrow in Chennai. Once the Censor is complete, the makers are likely to announce the release date. The announcement will bring a lot of cheer from the makers in Tollywood and Kollywood.

Due to the release date confusion, other films are struggling to plan their releases. Rajinikanth is in a US tour, missed all the movie promotions till date, he is likely to come back by the time of the movie release and participate in the post release promotions. Fox Star India bagged the Hindi version rights of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali.

Fox Star will also distribute the Telugu and Tamil versions of the film in Rest of India through its network of theaters in the North. Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of an aging gangster in the movie. Ranjith Pa is wielding megaphone for the movie in which Radhika Apte will be seen alongside Rajinikanth. Kalaipuli S Thanu is producing the film on V Creations banner.

The movie garnered One Million Views in just 6 hours of its release. This is the fastest Telugu Teaser to reach the One Million Mark. Nandamuri fans and the makers are delighted with this response. The Teaser sets right tone of expectations for the most awaited film of the season.

Janatha Garage shooting is progressing at brisk pace. The movie is being readied for August 12th release as Independence day Special. Currently the climax of the film is being shot in Saradhi Studios in the night effect. The team will be heading to Kerala after the current schedule in Hyderabad.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan is planning something big for his dad megastar Chiranjeevi’s 61st birthday to fall on August 22nd. The birthday celebrations are said to be held for almost 7 to 9 days.Last year, Chiru celebrated his 60th birthday with his fans in a grand event and then he threw a lavish party for industry biggies on the next day. This year also, Charan is willing to surprise his dad and mega fans. On part of this, Charan is meeting mega fans about blood donations and other charity events like food donation and books distribution to students on the day.

This birthday of Chiru is very special for his family members and fans, since the megastar is making comeback with his 150th film Kathilantodu. Recently, MAA TV organized a special event to welcome Chiru and now Charan is also making plans to greet his dad for making reappearance to films.

Directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Ram Charan, Kathilantodu shooting is progressing at brisk pace. Currently, they are canning scenes in a prison set in Hyderabad. Kathilantodu is about a socialist fighting for farmers’ rights. Chiru will be seen in dual roles. This highly anticipated flick is scheduled for release during Sankranthi, 2017.On the other hand, Ram Charan is busy with his film Dhruva. Rakul Preet Singh is female lead in the action entertainer directed by Surender Reddy. The film produced by Allu Aravind is set for release on October 7th.

The wait is over and the teaser of NTR’s much-awaited Janatha Garage is out on the Eid eve. The barely half-minute teaser has managed to grab eye-balls that shown NTR in a complete mass avatar. NTR is seen riding bullet, taking on goons in library, mouthing powerful dialogues.

From the start to its end, it’s NTR all the way. Only towards the end, one could see NTR walking alongside Mohanlal both clad in white dress with scalp caps and each wearing a scarf round the neck – traditional Muslim avatar. The scenes, visuals are ably backed by Devi Sri Prasad’s background score that elevated them. However, the film’s leading lady Samantha hasn’t made her appearance yet and looks like, makers have kept her look under the wraps.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the action drama is produced by Mythri Movie Makers after their maiden debut Srimanthudu. While the film’s music is all set for release on July 22, the film is slated for Aug 12 release.
