Babu Waiting for Kabali!
It’s been a while Venkatesh had a theatrical release in recent times. His last film was Gopala Gopala that also featured Pawan Kalyan in special role. Now all eyes are on his next Babu Bangaram directed by Maruthi.However, one has to wait for some more time to get clarity on Babu Bangaram release as the buzz is that Venky’s Babu Bangaram is waiting for Rajinikanth’s Kabali’s release date.
Depending on Kabali’s release, the makers of Babu Bangaram would schedule their film’s release. Given’s Rajini’s charisma and humongous response to the film’s teaser, the makers of Babu Bangaram are avoiding the clash with biggie.As per inside buzz, the post-production works have been wrapped up and only waiting for the D-day of Kabali. Amidst reports that Kabali may even move to August, team Babu Bangaram is contemplating to release the film on July 29.
Venky is yet again seen as ACP and his lucky mascot Nayantara is pairing up with him for third time. His stint as cop in Gautham Menon’s Gharshana was well-received. Glitzy Start To SIIMA 2016
The 6th annual South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA 2016) flagged off in a grand style at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre in Singapore yesterday. This two-day festival celebrated the best of Telugu Kannada films on its first day, with Tamil and Malayalam movies left to be honoured today.
Megastar Chiranjeevi was the special attraction at the opening day of SIIMA 2016 last night. All the young stars and even several Chiru’s contemporaries enthusiastically took selfies with the Megastar, who was congratulated his much awaited return to the silver screen this year.
From Tollywood, Baahubali and Srimanthudu won all the major awards. While the Best Film was awarded to Baahubali The Beginning, the Best Actor Male award went to Superstar Mahesh Babu for Srimanthudu and his co-star in the film Shruti Haasangrabbed the Best Actor Female award.

KTR competing With Narendra Modi
It seems KTR is following the footsteps of Modi or even competing him. While India Prime minister Narendra Modi is on the spree of foreign visits to promote ‘Make in India’, the Telangana IT and Industries minister KT Rama Rao is busy promoting ‘Make in Telangana’ in investor friendly countries.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s son KTR is spending most of his time on foreign tours in the recent times. After winding up America visit last week, the Telangana minister fly off to South East Asian countries.
He held several rounds of meetings with investors in Singapore in last two days and now stationed in Malaysia. He attended Malaysia – India business dinner meet where he made a presentation on investment prospects in Telangana.After the visit, KTR is planning to tour Arab countries inviting industrialists to set up their units and also take up infrastructure projects.
‘I’m not heir apparent of KCR’
The race for KCR successor post between trio- Harish, KTR and Kavitha seems come to an end.Telangana Irrigation minister Harish Rao has made it clear that he will certainly not the successor of Telangana Chief Minister KCR.
Strong speculations were doing rounds in political circles that KCR’s nephew Harish, son KTR and daughter Kavitha locked horns to elevate as KCR successor since one year.Harish said the minister post he got will be the highest in his political career. He had no further political ambitions except serving people at his level. “I’m not heir apparent of KCR.”
The recent political developments gave a clear indication that KTR will be the KCR successor as the former has been given key ministerial berth like Industries and Municipal Administration.KCR daughter Kavitha, who is sulking for not getting plum post, already favoured her brother as successor of her father.
Naidu, Be Ready For CBI Probe!
Hitting hard at TDP for trying to eke out political mileage from the normal procedure of attachment of assets by ED, YSR Congress has said that Chandrababu Naidu has to get ready for CBI probe as many cases are pending against him.“Chandrababu Naidu has lost the base in people’s court and his corruption has reached alarming proportions with numerous cases pending in the courts while the Enforcement Directorate (ED) attaching assets of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is part of the ongoing inquiry,” party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma told reporters here on Thursday.
TDP leaders raising a hue and cry on the attachment and spreading canards and unfounded lies that the Party will be closed down is only to gain political mileage.The attachment is part of the inquiry which is going on against the cases filed jointly by the Congress and TDP with political motives.Jagan, who was a businessman, turned politician after the death of his father and after differing with Congress the witch-hunt began with TDP joining hands with Congress and filing cases and the rest of the events were well recorded and known to all.

Harish Drops Out For KTR?
Though there were indications that the heir apparent of Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be his son K T Rama Rao, there has been still a discussion in the political circles that his nephew T Harish Rao is also a front runner for the coveted CM post after KCR.
However, Harish has brushed aside, albeit indirectly, such a talk. He told media in Sanga Reddy that he was not expecting a bigger post than what he was holding now.“No, I won’t get a bigger post than this. So, I am content with it,” he said, in an informal chat.
It clearly shows that Harish Rao had dropped out of the race for CM post in favour of KTR. He knows that even if he has more capabilities than KTR, he won’t get the coveted post because KCR will not allow anybody else than KTR to grow.Even his daughter K Kavitha admitted indirectly in the past that there would be no other choice except KTR to occupy the shoes of her father.May be if there is a split in the family and the party, Harish might have a chance, but that possibility is now remote.
Etihad to Capitalize Aviation Boom in Andhra Pradesh
A leading low frills Airline, Etihad is all set to commence its international operations in AP with reports that it had agreed to fly overseas from three major airports of Andhra namely Tirupati, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. This is really a good news for AP.
Recently, the AP CM had met Etihad airways vice-president when he was in China for World Economic Forum meeting. Very soon international travellers from here need not rely anymore based on the connectivity for abroad to International Airport in Hyderabad.Sources say that the airline had responded positively to a request made in this regard by Chandrababu and authorities expect the airline to seek necessary permissions from the Civil Aviation Ministry soon enough for commencing the international operations.
With the Civil Aviation Minister being Ashok Gajapathi Raju, granting permissions should not be an issue. Already AP is in news as the airports here are creating records in terms of passenger handling and overall operations after bifurcation. Many feel Etihad can capitalize on this boom being an early bird!
Sai Dharam Bags Allu Arjun Project!
Supreme hero Saidharam Tej is trying to improve his image with each film. He is choosing the stories, scripts and producers, directors cleverly. Till now, SDT is seen in mass commercial roles with monotonous touch. He is now changing the track. The young mega hero is rumored to have signed a multistarrer film with director Gautam Vasudev Menon.
According to reports, Allu Arjun was actually approached by Gautham Menon for Telugu version of this film. When Bunny said no, Gautam then approached Sai Dharam Tej as the latter immediately accepted. Prithvi Raj and Puneeth Rajkumar are respective stars to work on Malayalam and Kannada versions on the same film. Gautham Menon also finalized Anushka Shetty and Tamannah to play leading ladies in this multi lingual project.
Gautham Menon is a technical wizard. He is presently working on Sahasam Swaasaga Saagipo with Naga Chaitanya, readied for release very soon. Generally, Gautham prepares scripts with viability in multiple languages. SSS is also of the same nature. By any chance, SDT working with Gautham should be called a blessing for young hero.Sai Dharam Tej has Thikka set to release in July after Supreme winning the box office comfortably. Every young hero dreams to work with Gautham Menon. Finally, Bunny’s rejection helped SDT to bag a precious opportunity.

It is stated that Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has given enough publicity for the new capital Amravati by inviting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and spending crores of rupees and after several hiccups, the capital works have just started.
It is said that Naidu government is still craving for publicity even for shifting administration and YSR Congress party legislator G Srikanth Reddy wondered why there should be so much publicity for the shifting of capital to Amravati.
Reddy has told that the capital formation has been running on the lines of publicity as the shifting of staff has become only as a publicity stunt.Reddy has also added that Chandrababu Naidu has pulled the same publicity stunt on various occasions and every time he visits a foreign country, he states that Lakhs of crores of rupees have been coming into the state as investment but nothing materializes.
