Mohanlal Business With Rajini, NTR
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal who is playing a prominent role in Young Tiger Jr NTR’s Janatha Garage has acquired the film’s Malayalam version rights. He got the rights as part of his remuneration for the Koratala Siva directorial which is being made as Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Mohanlal is safe with Janatha Garage as the film is expected to make strong business in Kerala, owing to his presenceTalkie part of this mass action entertainer has been completed and with canning of a song in July, entire shooting will be wrapped up. Janatha Garage is slated for release in Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously on August 12th. Like Telugu spectators, Malayalam audiences are also waiting eagerly for release of this movie.
Seems like, Mohanlal is focusing on distribution, besides doing lead roles in all south languages. He has acquired Kerala distribution rights of superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali for whopping Rs 7.5 crores. Like Mohanlal, Rajinikanth is also a big star in Kerala. In fact, he is a true superstar in entire south. So, Kabali is likely to make at least reasonable business in Malayalam too.
Actually, Kalaipuli S Thanu who produced the movie has demanded Rs 8.5 crores for the rights. But, the deal has been closed at the above said price. Meanwhile, Kabali will go for censor in next week.There is no clarity yet- whether Kabali will release on scheduled date of July 15th or postpone by a week to 22nd. The makers will decide on this after completion of censor certification process.
ISIS terror module in Hyd and its implications
Peace loving Hyderabadis woke up with shock to findout that National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a series of multiple raids across the city busted terror module related to the dreaded ISIS group which is plotting powerful bomb blasts targeting VVIPS and crowded places during the holy month of Ramzan.
NIA detained 11 youth from Hyderabad who were planning to trigger communal riots by placing cow and buffalo meat at the Bhagyalakshmi temple at the base of Charminar. NIA swung into action after intercepting their calls with their ISIS handler instructing them for the past 4-5 months on how to plan riots during Ramzan. NIA intercepted call to “bring 4 pieces of cow meat and 4 pieces of buffalo meat that day and 7 pieces of cow meat the next day“.
What is worrying NIA and entire nation is the huge amount of arms and ammunition from them. Hyderabad link to all terror attacks across the country cannot be denied and this now is triggering into political fight between BJP ruling the country and TRS ruling the state.Kin of the arrested as usual cried foul and alleged conspiracy and BJP accused TRS government of criminal negligence. In the coming days more parties may start playing politics in the matters which are of unmost importance to the country’s security.
Raju Gadu Want A Bollywood Heroine!
Tollywood actress Amyra Dastur, known for Emraan Hashmi starrer film Mr X, is making Tollywood debut soon. In fact, the dazzling diva who was seen opposite in Dhanush’s Anekudu was considered for mega power star Ram Charan’s Dhruva being helmed by Surender Reddy, but opted out due to some reasons.
Now, if reports are anything to go by, this leggy lasso is set to romance young hero Raj Tarun in his new film Raju Gadu. Earlier, Akhil heroine Sayyesha Saigal name was heard, but the makers have condemned the reports saying they haven’t approached her for the film.
The film Raju Gadu directed by Sanjana went on floors recently and shooting is currently progressing in Hyderabad. The makers are in hunt to rope in another heroine to cast opposite Raj Tarun in the film billed to be a romantic comedy being made under AK Entertainments Banner.Popular director Maruthi is providing story and screenplay, apart from co-producing the film. Yama Danger is tagline of the film for which Ghibran is composing music. More details about the project will be unveiled soon.
‘KCR Should Protest In Amaravati’
Telangana BJP President Dr. K Lakshman had an interesting suggestion to the state’s Chief Minister KCR. Lakshman said that KCR may carry on with his plans of holding a maha dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi if he wishes to, but it is rather better to carry out his dharna in Andhra Pradesh’s capital Amaravati.The BJP President further said that he would not question KCR’s intentions behind his protest in support of Telangana lawyers, but said that the CM’s protest would show more impact if it is held in Amaravati.
It is well known that KCR had warned the Union government of a huge protest in Delhi if the centre does not intervene in the division of High Court between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. KCR also alleged that AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu is disrupting the High Court division process.
On the other hand, AP BJP leader and Minister of Health Kamineni Srinivas demanded that KCR should first resolve the long pending issue of the division of institutions in the 9, 10 schedules before protesting for the division of the High Court.
Facebook privacy policy hoax: Social media giant reassures users after post goes viral, again
Facebook has finally opened up about the fake privacy notice that has been making the rounds of the world’s largest social networking platform. This isn’t the first time that such a post has gone viral on the site, but Facebook’s reassurance comes after the alleged change in its privacy policy created a panic among its users.
The viral status update begins with an alarming statement, “All your posts can become public tomorrow,” which can easily frighten several users. The post demands that users share the legal-sounding message on their walls to prevent Facebook from making any private information public. As a result, the post was flooded on users’ news feeds as concerned friends shared them with hopes of keeping their private information safe.
While most reputed publications debunked the hoax more than once, Facebook added a touch of authenticity by reassuring users that they are in control of their content on the site.You may have seen a post telling you to copy and paste a notice to retain control over things you share on Facebook. Don’t believe it. Our terms say clearly: You own all of the content and information you post on Facebook, and you can control how it’s shared through your privacy and application settings. That’s how it works, and this hasn’t changed,” Facebook wrote.
If users are concerned about their privacy on Facebook, there are settings that limit strangers from accessing any posts, photos or content that has been shared by you. The Privacy Settings option, which can be accessed from the top right hand menu, allows users to review posts, limit the audience for posts, choose who can send friend requests, look up using the email address, phone number provided on the profile. In fact, Facebook allows users to block specific people on the platform.
There is no assurance that such posts will not reappear in the time to come, but it is best to be advised to not fall for the hoax again. Although, sharing the post doesn’t harm you in anyway, it will at least make you look less foolish on a global social media platform when such hoaxes are busted.
Microsoft: Free XBOX One with Surface Pro 4 for students in US; Surface Pro 3 unavailable in India
In honour of the summer/back-to-school season, Microsoft is giving students in the US a sweet deal. Students who buy a Surface Pro 4 are being given an XBOX One for free.The offer is valid up to Aug. 14 and essentially gives buyers a $300 discount while buying the Surface Pro 4 and the XBOX One together, this essentially translates to a free XBOX if you think about it.
The XBOX One with a 500 GB hard disk retails in the US for $299.99, while the Surface starts at $899. If Microsoft were to extend this deal to students in India, then the XBOX One-Surface Pro 4 bundle, which should at least cost Rs. 1,24,980, would cost users only Rs. 89,990, provided the buyer chooses the cheapest Surface Pro 4.
The Surface Pro 4 in India is sold by Amazon as well as Tata Cliq. While the Surface Pro 4 starts at Rs. 89,990 on both the platforms, Tata Cliq, at the time of writing this article, is bundling certain models of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with the Type Cover, detachable keyboard. The Type Cover costs Rs. 12,490 when bought separately.
This news also comes soon after Microsoft announcing its plans to end production of the low-cost Surface 3. While Microsoft doesn’t sell this model in India, it sold the Surface Pro 3 through Amazon. The Surface Pro 3 is currently unavailable on Amazon and it currently sells only the Surface Pro 4.
Dil Raju’s Dual Role
Despite being a leading producer with several big budget films with top stars in his repertoire, Dil Raju joined hands with director Maruthi to produce a low budget youthful entertainer titled Rojulu Marayi. After a huge round of promotions, the film is releasing tomorrow.
During his recent interview as part of the film’s promotions, Maruthi, who provided the story for Rojulu Marayi, revealed how Dil Raju turned editor for Rojulu Marayi. Maruthi said that Dil Raju saw the final copy of Rojulu Marayi recently and felt that it was too long.Dil Raju, being a shrewd producer that he is, felt that 2 hour 25 minutes will be too risky for its box-office chances since it stars young cast and suggested Maruthi and the film’s team to remove 15 minutes from the film’s second half.
Maruthi said that Dil Raju’s suggestion to edit out unnecessary scenes has drastically improved the film’s pace in the second half. These are the times when even top star films are being edited right after the first day screenings. Let’s see how well Rojulu Marayi score tomorrow.

Slender beauty Ileana is making comeback to films after two years with Akshay Kumar starrer film Rustom. The film’s trailer has been released just a while ago to instant response. It’s a much awaited trailer which promises the movie to be a thrilling experience for viewers.
Akshay Kumar has played Navy officer named Rustom Parvi and Ileana will be seen as his darling wife who has affair with Arjan Bajwa who happens to be brother of Esha Gupta.
