Baahubali – The Beginning is one of the biggest hits in the history of Indian Cinema. The movie which released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi Languages grossed more than 600 Crore in its full run. The movie is also a huge success in Television in all the four languages it is telecast.

Reports suggest that the Kerala distributors, Global United Media has decided to re-release the film once again in the month of July. The Malayalam version broke several box office records for a dubbed film in Kerala and now the distributor is hoping of making more money in this second release.

The entire nation is eagerly waiting for the release of the second part, Baahubali – The Conclusion. The movie is being planned for April 14th, 2017 release as Summer Special. 14th April, 2017 is considered as excellent release timing for the film as Summer, Tamil New Year, Good Friday and No Bollywood biggies before or after 50 days of the movie release.

Recently there is a buzz that Superstar Rajinikanth and Sensational director Shankar’s Robot 2.0 is also gearing up for 2017 Summer release. Film enthusiasts are worried if they are going to clash at the box office.

Clearing all rumours, Rana who plays Bhallaladeva in Baahubali – The Conclusion revealed that their film is set for an April release and will not collide with Robot 2.0. He also added that a lot of shoot is pending for both the films and there is no chance that these films can come together.

Baahubali – The Conclusion shooting is progressing at brisk pace and the entire shooting will be completed by November. Robot 2.0 has completed 50% of its shoot. Once Rajinikanth is back from his USA holiday and finishes his Kabali promotions, the shooting will resume and will go non-stop till completion.

When the young Allu hero Sirish made his acting debut with Gauravam, critics and even fans panned his acting skills and looks to no limits. Sirish tried hard and managed to cover his drawbacks in his next film, Kotha Janta, which was produced under his home banner.After an above average response for his second film, Sirish is once again testing his luck with an out and out romantic family drama titled Srirastu Subhamasthu. The film’s teaser was released yesterday evening and got a decent response.

While there is hardly anything to rave about the teaser, one aspect that particularly stands out in the teaser is the strikingly impressive makeover of Allu Sirish. Looks like the Allu camp’s efforts in taking special care towards Sirish’s looks have paid off in the film’s favour.

As per the teaser, it promises a pleasant feel throughout and the dialogues are particularly impressive. The film also stars Lavanya Tripathi and it is directed by Parasuram, who had earlier made Nara Rohit’s Solo. Sirish’s father Allu Aravind produced the film, which will release in July.

Young Tiger NTR is lagging behind other star heroes in numbers race. Finally he got in to the coveted 50 Crore Share club with his last release, Nannaku Prematho. Buoyed by the success NTR is targeting a non-Baahubali industry hit with his next film, Janatha Garage. The movie shooting is progressing at brisk pace.

The makers are planning August 12th release as Independence day special. Nandamuri fans have pinned high hopes on this film to make it big at the box office. The first week will have four holidays including a long weekend due to Independence day holiday on Monday and another holiday due to Rakshabandhan.

Amid all these favourable scenes, the makers have got a shock from Bollywood. Two of Bollywood’s most hyped projects – Hrithik Roshan’s Mohanjedaro and Akshay Kumar’s Rustom are also releasing on August 12th. These two films will occupy good number of Multiplex shows. They are also likely to deprive good release in USA as well. The movie is a hot cake in trade and even with out closing the ROI business, it already amassed 61.8 Crore Pre-Release Business which is the highest in NTR’s Career till date

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s next in the direction of AR Murugadoss will now begin towards the end of July. Mahesh Babu is back in Hyderabad after a brief family holiday in London. The actor immediately rushed to London after Brahmotsavam release to get over the failure. The actor is on a strict diet regime and is doing some intense workout under an expert trainer to get in shape for his role in the film.

Earlier we have heard names like ‘Enemy’ and ‘Justice’ for the film but now a new name ‘Vascoda Gama’ is doing rounds in the Rumour mills. Vasco da Gama, a Portuguese explorer was the first European to reach India by sea. The makers have confirmed that the news is not true and they are yet to finalize a title for their film.

Bollywood Glam Girl, Parineeti Chopra is all set to make her Telugu debut with this film. Rumours are rife that the actor will be playing an intelligence officer in the film. The movie is reportedly going to be costliest film in the actor’s career. Harris Jairaj will be composing music for this film.

Popular Tamil Filmmaker, Gautam Menon is planning a multistarer project which will be made as a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil. Earlier he approached Stylish Star Allu Arjun for this project but Bunny did not agree it for some reason. Now the project reached Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s lap.

Vikatan will be directing the film. Sai Dharam Tej will star in the Telugu version of the film. It is not confirmed who will star in the Tamil version. Anushka and Tamannah were also roped in for this bilingual. Very soon the announcement of this project will come out. On the other side, Sai Dharam Tej is currently busy wrapping up his Thikka.

After Thikka, Sai Dharam also have two more projects in the direction of BVS Ravi and Gopichand Malineni. So he will have to accomodate dates for three projects now. Sai Dharam Tej is becoming a reliable star after having delivered three back to back hits with Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, Subrahmanyam for Sale and Supreme.

For the past one year, we have heard news about making her Telugu debut. She was associated with Akhil’s debut film, NTR’s Janatha Garage and Ram Charan’s Dhruva but none of these projects materialized for the actress. Finally, Amyra Dastur is making her Telugu debut with Raj Tharun’s Raju Gadu.

She is one of the two heroines in the project. A lady director Sanjana is making her directional debut with this film. She is earlier an assistant to Sensational director Ram Gopal Varma. The movie comes with a tagline ‘Yama Danger’. Director Maruthi penned the story for this film.

The movie touted to be an out and out entertainer, the makers are yet to finalize the other heroine in the film and now the makers are shooting the portions which do not need heroines. Anil Sunkara is producing the film on his AK Entertainments Banner. Malayalam music director Gopi Sundar is composing music for the film which has dialogues by Ravi Varma Namboori.

Ee Petaku Nene Mestri from the film Mutamestri is one of the all time mass songs in Telugu. Megastar Chiranjeevi made it most memorable for his fans with his mass steps. In fact, the matinee idol Chiranjeevi is appearing same to same in both the frames, with almost same costumes.

Shankar Dada Zindabad was the last movie of Chiranjeevi, who in the mean time played brief roles in his son Ram Charan’s couple of films Magadheera and Bruce Lee. Now, he is making comeback to films with his 150th film tentatively titled Kathilantodu being helmed by VV Vinayak.

The megastar in various getups of his old classic movies demonstrated what sort of elements his comeback movie will have.Currently, Kathilantodu is in shooting mode.
