Ravibabu who has got a name for himself as a variety director, is coming up with another experiment. He is working on a film in which a pig plays a main role. Ravibabu had sent a pic to media in which is seen with a Pig looking at it admiringly. Rajamouli has created a sensation of sort with Eega as Protagonist.

Ravibabu reportedly did study behavioural characteristics of pigs by observing them closely for few months. The shooting of the film began in March and the director managed to complete the shoot in three months. The makers are currently working on the post production. The team reportedly used a silicon model piglet to shoot some sequences.

The director reportedly worked on this idea for one and half year before execution. Newcomers Abhishek and Nabha are playing protagonists in the film where in the piglet plays a crucial role. Very soon the makers will come up with the official announcement of the projec

We all know that Ram Charan is turning producer for his father, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Prestigious 150th film. Now his elder daughter Sushmitha is also associated with the film. She is designing Chiranjeevi’s wardrobe in the film. A fashion designer herself, Sushmitha earlier styled Chiranjeevi in Jai Chiranjeeva and Shankar Dada MBBS.

The first schedule will take place in and around Hyderabad till 12th July. The makers are yet to finalize the actress who will be romancing the Megastar. VV Vinayak is wielding megaphone for this project which happens to be the official remake of Tamil blockbuster, Kaththi. The film is being readied for Sankranthi 2017 release.

Vinayak previously directed Chiranjeevi in a blockbuster Tagore which is also a remake. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music for this film. This is his second film with Chiranjeevi after Shankar Dada MBBS. The project also boasts of Top technicians like Art director Thota Tharani and Cinematographer Rathnavelu.

Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage team is rushing in to its shoot as the release date, August 12th draws closer. The team is planning to shoot remaining four songs in July. One of the song will be shot in Colombo. A romantic duet featuring NTR and Samantha will be shot in the lavish locales of Colombo.

NTR is currently dubbing for his part in the film. The team plans to complete the entire shoot by the end of July so that there is enough time for the post production works. The much awaited First Look Teaser is releasing on July 6th as Ramzan Special. Nandamuri fans have pinned high hopes on this film to make it big at the box office.

Looks like Niharika’s Oka Manasu has found a new admirer. If the latest news coming out from the film nagar area suggests that Rajnikanth’s son in law and Tamil star Dhanush is going to remake this love story in Tamil.

After seeing a special screening of the film, Dhanush had liked the political backdrop and Naga Shourya’s character very much that he approached the makers of the original and bought the rights.

News is that Dhanush will star in this project and the film will be made on a decent scale. Being a simple and native subject, onlookers feel that the subject matter will suit the Tamil nativity well and Dhanush has indeed made a correct move.

‘Oka Manasu’ is another Romantic drama genre written and directed by Rama Raju Gottimukkala. The movie features Naga Shourya and Niharika Konidela in titular roles. This movie also marks the debut of Niharika in Tollywood. She will be essaying role of Sandhya, a traditional girl.

As ‘Mega Princess’ is making her debut, there were huge expectations for the movie. Producers Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Ravi Prakash also promoted the movie using Niharika as the selling point. Most of the leading critic writers said, Niharika was solid and so impressive in the second half of the movie. Her expressions were loved by everyone.So now the big challenge for her is to carry herself in commercial oriented movies too. Oka Manasu produced under TV9 productions and Madhura Entertainment has been made with a tight budget of Rs 3 crores. Interestingly, theatrical rights of the musical romantic entertainer film were sold for whopping Rs 7 crores. So the producers pocketed more than double profits, before the film’s theatrical outing.In fact, buzz was high on Oka Manasu since it marked big screen debut of mega brother Nagababu’s only daughter Niharika Konidela. Mega family and fans lend their support for the film, before it hit the screens on Friday.

In addition, the film got clean U certificate from censor sleuths which made family audience to wait for release of the film.Unluckily, the film Oka Manasu directed by Rama Raju has got mixed response from critics and audience alike. As per trade experts, the movie is expected to provide losses for distributors. Although the film is doing average to above average business in urban centers, it is completely weak in rural areas, which is main strength of mega heroes.

Although lead actors Niharika and Naga Shourya are praised for their performances, excess of drama, poetic and sluggish narration has played spoilsport. Bad luck for Niharika who wants to continue as actress. What will she do now? Will she wait for film offers or continue doing reality shows in small screen?
