‘Justice League’ news: Movie to be targeted for much younger audience
After receiving several internet rages for “Man of Steel” and the latest instalment of DC Extended Universe (DCEU), “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” from the critics and fans, the producers have stated that the next movie in DCEU will be much younger audience-friendly than the previous ones.The original comic books counterparts of DC heroes have mostly been targeted for the younger audience, especially in ’70s and ’80s. However, so far the movies had a darker and grimmer theme to them. Since “Dawn of Justice” received a not-so-pleasant response, especially regarding the kids’ audience, the upcoming movies of the franchise will be children-friendly.
As reported by Comic Book, when Deborah Snyder, producer of “Dawn of Justice,” was asked whether the upcoming “Justice League” will be lighter in theme or not, he said that it will be different from the earlier DCEU movies.”I think ‘Justice League’ is much more inclusive [than ‘Batman v Superman’]. It’s all about the characters, too. We have these two very young Flash and Cyborg characters and they’re definitely lighter. I think they’re going to appeal to a younger audience. I think ‘Suicide Squad’ has its own audience, and I think ‘Wonder Woman’ has its own audience. Not just women because I think the movie, I’ve seen a little bit of it, and [Director] Patty [Jenkins]’s still working on her director’s cut.”
“I think it’s going to be broad-reaching,” Snyder added. “I think the darkest [we’re going] is where we’ve been.”The next DCEU venture, “Justice League,” is currently under production and will be directed by “Dawn of Justice” director Zack Snyder. It will star Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Ezra Miller as The Flash.
William Dafoe of “Spider-Man” fame has also joined the movie as the villain Vulko along with Amber Heard, who will be portraying the character of Mera.The movie is scheduled to release on Nov. 17, 2017, on the 25th anniversary of “Superman #75.”
Britain’s Labour in turmoil as Corbyn sacks key member
Britain’s opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn sacked a key member of his cabinet early Sunday, the BBC reported, as deep divisions within the Labour party emerged following the Brexit vote.Mr. Corbyn had joined Conversative Prime Minister David Cameron to campaign for Britain to remain part of the European Union.Mr. Cameron was the first casualty of the loosing “Remain” camp, stepping down as leader on Friday morning after it emerged that Britain had voted 52 per cent to 48 per cent in favour of leaving the EU.
In the early hours of Sunday, Mr. Corbyn dismissed shadow foreign secretary Hilary Benn, who was rallying party members to resign if the Labour leader refused to stand down.A Labour spokesman said Mr. Corbyn had “lost confidence” in Mr. Benn, the BBC reported.Two Labour lawmakers had tabled a vote of no confidence against the opposition leader on Saturday, reflecting the anger felt by many MPs as the results of Britain’s vote to leave the EU began to sink in.
Mr. Corbyn has faced accusations that he lost the referendum by failing to rally his party’s core working-class voter base, more than a third (37 per cent) of whom who defied their party leadership to back a Brexit in Thursday’s historic referendum.”This is sad news indeed and I cannot understand how Jeremy thinks it will help his worsening position with the PLP,” Labour MP Roberta Blackman-Woods tweeted following the sacking of Mr. Benn.

Senior UK Minister announces she is gay on London’s Pride day
One of Britain’s frontline Cabinet ministers Justine Greening has announced she is in a same-sex relationship, making her the first openly gay woman in the Conservative cabinet.The UK’s international development secretary in David Cameron’s government, who had campaigned for Britain to remain within the European Union (EU) in the referendum, made the announcement on Twitter on Saturday as gay pride parades were held in London and across the UK over the weekend.

The 47-year-old Conservative party MP becomes the 33rd openly gay, lesbian or bisexual MP in the House of Commons, which already boasts the highest number of openly gay representatives of any legislature in the world.Crispin Blunt, a fellow Tory MP who came out in 2010, tweeted: “Good on you. Huge hugs from Pride.”The Pride march stopped for a minute in memory of the 49 people shot dead in a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, on June 12.
No Producer Fixed For Trivikram Movie?
There were reports that Trivikram’s close friend and producer of his recent movies S Radhakrishna will also be producing Pawan Kalyan’s movie.In an interview, even Radhakrishna said that Trivikram’s next film will also be produced on his banner but he didn’t mention Pawan Kalyan’s name.
Although it is confirmed that Pawan Kalyan has given go-ahead signal to Trivikram, he hasn’t finalized the producer’s name, say sources. Buzz is that Pawan Kalyan has some other producer in his mind. Who is he? Must be Dasari Narayana Rao.
Pawan Kalyan has reportedly asked Trivikram not to talk or announce the name of producer until he gets a clarity on that front. Their movie will commence its shoot from next January. Trivikram is now said to be penning the dialogues for this script.
Pawan Kalyan helps a old age home
Lakshmi Manchu’s Memu Saitham show had revealed humane side of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan once again. This is revealed by an Oldage Home organizer, Lakshmi. She used to do a job and earn 50000 per month with which she used to maintain ‘Jesus old age home’ in Khammam with 17 members. But problems compounded for her after retirement.
She found it tough to maintain the Old Age home with meager pension she gets. Finally knowing Pawan Kalyan’s humane side, she reached out to her home. Seeing her at his gate, Pawan Kalyan lead her in to the house and treated with Coffee and Chepala Pulusu later. He immediately gave her a cheque of One Lakh for the Old Age home maintenance and another 10000 for her expenses.
He asked her to remember her any time if she is in need and asked her to think him as her elder son. With moist eyes, the women remembers Pawan Kalyan’s help and says, ‘Yes he is my elder son’. This incident happened in 2013 and also covered by Newspapers back then.
Amaravati bringing new problems to AP?
Andhra Pradesh staffers will begin shifting from Hyderabad to Amaravati starting from 27th of this month. The shift will complete by August end as all the government employees will go to Amaravati in phases. About 2000 outsourcing employees working with Andhra Pradesh Secretariat are refusing to shift to Amaravati.
These employees are drawing 8000-10000 salary per month. They feel that they can not survive in Amaravati with that salary and lack of proper amenities. Most of them are planning to resign and search for some alternate employment. The planning, municipal administration, and industries and IT departments have many consultants, contract and outsourcing employees.
If these mass resignations happen, government may find it difficult to recruit new skilled staff in Vijayawada and Guntur region. Or else may be forced to increase the compensation of the outsourcing employees which will be a financial burden to the already cash crunched state. Lets see what Chandrababu does to over come this problem!
‘Water wars’ Between Telangana & AP
The ongoing tussle between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh over water sharing reached crescendo as the TS government warned the AP counterpart stop filling Dr KL Rao Sagar Pulichintala reservoir with river Krishna water this season until all the grievances of the displaced are addressed at the project site.
In a letter to AP, the TS government said it already wrote a letter to it in February 2015 to resolve the long pending Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R and R) for the displaced at the project site and at all lift irrigation schemes which were under construction. But no action was taken towards addressing the issue.
Telangana informed nearly 13 village were facing submergence at project site in Nalgonda district, officials said that if the reservoir built with a capacity of 40 TMC under the project is filled with water, the low lying areas would be badly affected.
It’s Lawrence, Not Balakrishna
Kannada Super hit film Shivalinga that starred Shiva Rajkumar will be remade in Tamil and Telugu by P Vasu. Earlier, there were reports that, Balakrishna will feature in the Telugu version, while Raghava Lawrence is already finalized for Tamil version. The speculations started after Balakrishna attending 100 days function of the movie in Bangalore, with invitation from director P Vasu.
However, seems like, things haven’t materialized. As per sources, Balakrishna will not be part of the film as he is presently busy with his 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni and director P Vasu who made a film Maharadhi with Balayya wants to shoot both Telugu and Tamil versions simultaneously.
So, the director will be making Telugu and Tamil versions with Lawrence playing the lead with Ritika Singh in female lead. Ritika Singh, a boxer by profession, had debuted to Tamil and Hindi films respectively with Madhavan starred Saala Khadoos (Hindi) and Irudhi Settru (Tamil). She has also signed Telugu version of this movie that will have Venkatesh essaying the boxing coach.
Music for Shivalinga Telugu and Tamil versions will be composed by SS Thaman, who has great rapport with Lawrence. All the parts of Lawrence’s Muni franchise were super hits in Telugu. Especially, the last series Muni 3 was a big hit. With good following in masses, Lawrence is trying another horror thriller.
Disappointing news from Rajinikanth
Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali will have its Telugu audio launch this evening in Hyderabad. JRC Convention in Jubilee Hills will host the event. Rajinikanth who is in USA is likely to miss the event. In fact, the actor may not participate in the promotions of the Telugu and Tamil versions before the release.
According to the buzz emanating from Tamil media circles, the makers are planning not to release the theatrical trailer, but will unleash yet another teaser just a few days before the film’s release. The first teaser of the film was a huge success and created records which even stunned Bollywood Biggies.
Kabali is being planned for July 15th release. The post production works are going on at full swing to meet the release deadline. Currently the dubbing works are progressing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. The makers will very soon finish the work of the film’s first copy and submit it for censor.
Chiranjeevi’s assurance to fans
Megastar Chiranjeevi had began the shooting of his prestigious 150th week earlier this week. Mega fans are very excited about the comeback of the Big Boss and are eagerly waiting to see him on Big Screen. The movie is being planned for Sankranthi 2017 release and obviously it will be a double festival time.
Megastar in an interview, confirmed that he will continue doing films even after 150th film. When asked about that, Chiranjeevi said, “Why not? I will continue film as long as chances are there. After 150, 151..152.. there will be no stopping to do film”. The Megastar also added that title is not confirmed for his 150th film.
That will mean that Kathilantodu may not be the final title. The actor also promised that the film will have all dances, punch dialogues, fights and every thing fans would like to see in him. VV Vinayak is wielding megaphone for this project which happens to be the official remake of Tamil blockbuster, Kaththi.
