Balayya Thanks KCR
Acknowledging the Telangana CM KCR’s noble gesture of waiving off the taxes which the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital was supposed to pay to the Telangana government, film star and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna expressed his gratitude to KCR.
Before the commencement of his most awaited 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni, Balayya met KCR and requested him to waive off the taxes and the CM responded positively. Recently, KCR signed on the tax waiver file, considering the services the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital has been extended to the patients over these years.
Speaking at the hospital’s 16th anniversary celebrations as the chief guest, Balayya said that the hospital has been offering international standard treatment to thousands of patients over these years irrespective of their caste, religion and region.Earlier, KCR also obliged Balakrishna’s request and gave his nod to regularise the patients’ blocks at the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital. KCR also promised to build night shelters for those who accompany the cancer patients at the hospital.
5 YSRCP MLAs Set To Join TDP?
If the latest buzz in the political circles is to be believed, at least five more YSRCP MLAs are all set to quit the party and join TDP very soon. If this news turns out to be true, this could further dent YSRCP’s chances a revival before the 2019 elections.
Already, nearly 18 YSRCP MLAs and other leaders gave a rude shock to Jagan and joined TDP in Chandrababu’s presence. The YSRCP camp thought that Babu’s Operation Akarsh would die down after the Rajya Sabha elections and was in a hope that the party could revive itself until the MLC elections which are due next year.At least 10 to 15 MLC seats will be vacant during the next year’s MLC elections and there is already a huge competition among the leaders of both the parties. Apart from the ruling party, even YSRCP is expected to get a handful of MLC seats in 2017.
While the senior most leaders in YSRCP are believed to be getting importance in the MLC elections, there are also satires in the political circles that even though the YSRCP may get the tickets, there won’t be any MLA left in the party to vote for its MLC candidates. With this, the YSRCP leaders are once again alleging that Chandrababu is again resorting to his Operation Akarsh, keeping the 2017 MLC elections in mind.
PIC TALK: Jagan relaxes with Golf in London
Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a relaxed man after saving the lone Rajya Sabha seat despite the very strong Operation Akarsha by the ruling Telugu Desam Party. After getting the berth for his loyalist, Vijaya Sai Reddy, Jagan headed to Britain for a holiday along with his family.
Jagan is spotted playing golf in London. Few YSR Congress fans who spotted him there captured the pictures and they are going viral on social media. Jagan is almost nearing the completion of holiday and will be back by this weekend. Jagan is likely to tour Godavari districts later this month.
